For those who were confused these are some corrections:
1. Bosch only has 2 lineups: Mainline and Benchmark
2. No such thing as "micro-decibel," it's actually dBa for appliances
3. Flow through water heater, not in wall, the only time it gets hot is if you use the Sanitize option, due to government electrical standards
4. The handlebar itself is not 24 inches, the industry standard width for dishwashers is 24 inches
5. Only three wash arms, no spray from rear
6. Sound deadening: stainless steel tub, bitumen (tar like substance) and cotton blanket. The plastic arms are irrelevant, the design of the arms' water jets are crucial as water only sprays onto dishes according to Bosch
7. Bosch recommends tablet-form Cascade detergent
8. If your stainless steel tub is staining because you thought dumping detergent all over the door panel was a good idea, that actually means you don't have high quality SS such as standard 18/8 or 18/10 grade.

Just correcting you on the heater
This dishwasher has a flow through Heater and I know this because my grandmother’s has a Bosch dishwasher which I fixed the heater.
Lots of dishwashers now have flow through heaters .
I have the 500 , brand new! I used it two times. i found it has an awful smell when I put items in . I never had any dishwasher have a smell like this one! I have put in vinegar and lemon juice hoping to clear the smell but still smells!Any suggestions on how to get rid of the order? I do not put in items with much on , as I scrape them off first! Help please!
I love my new bosch only have it for a few weeks so it is to early to have any complaints so great . does a great job

Actually the heating element is inside the pump. It's a trough flow heater, like on electric showers.
I just bought one. It ran and the red light went off but the display at the top doesn’t say clean. Is it supposed to display clean at the top?

We just got our dishwasher and the display does not light up while it is running. Only when the door is open. Is this unit broken?
How do I turn off the light of the sanitize button? DW has finished a cycle but the red button is still on ...I can’t seem to turn the light off for a different kind of cycle . Need help ...pls thx u

I have a new Bosch model No. SHPM 65Z52N/01. I can’t find any information about the controls. Mine has Auto Air. No information I have found shows Auto Air.
Still works after 3-4 years?
Just got one installed today. Can anyone that owns verify if the Delay button LED lights up when pressed ? In my unit there is no illumination from the button just the delay options in the screen.
how much centimeter can the door stay open?
How did you manage to get the hot water hose connected? I found that to be difficult to get a wrench in there and I couldn't hand tighten it to keep it from leaking.

No still work great and still very quite
Have had mine for about about a month now - very disappointed! Dishes are wet when the ridiculously cycle is complete.
Racks are very light and cheap . Looking into having Lowes take it back . Wish me luck .

Does a trouble-free great job; efficiently & quietly.
who knew some kids (who is young adult now) spewing nonsense would tell me that i didn't know how to run my new dish washer, because of the delay in starting and being too quiet lol..
You shouldn't be putting your good knives in a dishwasher.
We bought the shpm65w55n/13 dishwasher and we so disappointed about the misleading information or the hidden information. We bought because users manual says after finish cycle the door open automatically. After we get the information some models knows but no where u can find which models really function like that. We call Bosch and they told me this model not doing Automatic door open function. We want to buy first the LG dishwasher but the sales person convinced us to get this bad Bosch dishwasher.
Bosch has 2 versions of the 500 series. SHPM65Z55N has the auto open door and costs about $150 extra in Canada. Your salesman sold you the wrong older version.
I cant understand how the dishwasher can tell how dirty the dishes are lmao

Work on sound quality to get your thumbs up better. The BLASTING super loud music at the start combined with quiet poor quality review voice turns people off right away. Best of luck!
