We purchased the Bosch 800 series in March 2023. It has 14 different option settings that are a nightmare to change. It's a touch system vs buttons to push. Sometimes it gets stuck and will not budge until 15-20 minutes of trying to choose a wash cycle. This is the most frustrating appliance we have ever had. Why would anyone design something so hard to adjust settings? To change a setting we were instructed to hold down the reset button. All the 14 buttons light up. This is suppose to clear a previous setting. Sometimes it works and sometimes it takes many, many attempts to clear. Recently it got stuck and showed 88 hours and 88 minutes to wash. I miss having a Kitchenaid. In addition, I typically have to place a tea towel on the kitchen counter to set items to finish drying. The cups and bowls often hold water on top of them. Kitchenaid was a much better reliable product than our Bosch 800 series. Regret buying the Bosch. HATE IT!

I have one and HATE it. And Bosch lack of support is a big reason to hate it even more. After 2 uses, the machine refuses to allow you to select any modes and only goes with the AUTO/Crystal Dry mode, which doesn't work all that well.

Hold the reset button for 3 seconds until it turns to “0” on the screen. Turn it off and back on.

@@drepark2294 that doesn't, reliably work. In fact, that solution takes many attempts to get it to work, each time.

What about getting rid of that excessive vocal fry before advertising a product?

Just installed Bosch 800, ran first load. It's louder than entry-level plastic tub variety.

I would argue that mine is so silent that I have to doublecheck to know it is running.

@@DarkHorseSki My is even more silent, i just use dishrag and wash it by hand. Dishwasher machine is stupid thing to use.

@@001looker No. The sanitary results of the dishwasher is quite superior to hand washing. And the efficiency is also greater.

@@DarkHorseSki Enjoy waiting until it's full to run. I just wash it after I use it and it's done. Again dishwasher machine is stupid and it will never be used in my family. I have 2 perfect capable dishwashers to wash and dry. Practice makes it perfect.

@@001looker Well, like normal folks, I have enough dishes, glasses and silverware to feed many people, which means, even when my dishwasher and my sink are full, I still have plenty of available coverage for whatever I wish to eat. Hence, I am never waiting. On the other hand, thanks to the dishwasher, I have much more time to do things other than simple chores, like handwashing dishes. So please, enjoy doing menial work while the rest of us enjoy doing other things.

Bosch is overpriced junk and their customer service is trash. I've had the same experience with my 18" 800 series. After less than a month, the machine suddenly won't run any cycles. Expect to wait a least a month for them to send an "authorized tech" to do a cursory inspection and grab at straws so Bosch can shirk from honoring their warranty. (Now you know why they won't honor a diagnosis from a third party tech.) Save your money and pick a more reliable company that supports their product.
