I introduced it to friends who would get together to watch boxing and many had never heard of the sport. The K1 tournaments that came before this were hard enough to come by even though they were well established in parts of the world. It is very easy to take for granted all that is available today. Taking the time to educate yourself on the history and context of subjects you enjoy will be time well spent. It will add a wealth of depth and understanding to your interests. Unless your interest is merely watching violence being inflicted that is.

Chael reached "Unstoppable" status for a little while. Even though he wasn't the champion, he was the best middleweight fighter in the world until he threw that spinning back fist in the 2nd round of the 2nd fight with Anderson Silva. I love Anderson Silva, he's the middle weight goat, but I was rooting for Chael and, man, totally felt the heartbreak. Love the Bad Guy.
