My favorite was when Che did that twice in one show. During the one where they were talking about Black Superman, Che got him with a "if you liked that one, you're gonna love this one" then at the end, he got him with a "I just thuoght of another punchline to the black superman joke"

Che's jokes are top notch, but Colin's delivery of them is always the icing on the cake.

The biggest reason it’s funny if you ask me, and this is someone who hates racists jokes. The fact that the racism of the joke isn’t center stage tho. It’s the discomfort/annoyance/ but overall good nature that f the dude reading them

It doesn't matter if they got a black puppet to deliver them, they're still racist jokes, and no the jokes are not written by those 2, they're written by a staff of mostly white writers. I saw an interview with Che explaining how the Joke Swapp came about it was Jost idea. I'm in the UK and I knew this years ago. Jost-Che are my go to Sunday Mornings in the UK. 😮😅😢❤❤

@@jsmall10671 Yes, the same as others. Did you know most kids that are kidnapped don’t return? Not race or gender specific, most kids don’t come back. To say the cops sit on there ass when it’s a black kid is a oversimplification, cops can’t do much either way. By the time a kid is taken, the kidnappers are already on a 2 hour road trip to transport your kid to god knows where. It’s a horrible trade, and the people who do these kinds of trades are extremely smart and skilled at what they do. It’s the reason most of them are never caught.
It sucks that there’s a need for this service because black children going missing are ignored. Hopefully one day that won’t be the case.

Many years ago, people could just say these hilarious jokes, and people didn't assume the comedian was a hateful racist. We understood that comedy takes risks. Now we have to pretend that Colin didn't write that joke. 🤣

I think the thing that makes the jokes funny is the fact that terrible things shouldn't be said about other people, and by them trading jokes that would usually be off limits it creates the comedy. If some white guy sat there just dogging on people from another race/nationality with no reason to do so, it wouldn't really be funny so much as just being racist/hateful while pretending that it's just a joke. And that is truly hurtful to some degree. Of course it would be seen as offensive/ not funny because at that point it would just be lightly vailed hate speech. That's why some old jokes don't hold up for the same reason

While I have loved SNL since it started (yeah, I'm old!) this portion of the show is about the best I've ever seen over the years (besides initially with Dan Akroyd and Jane Curtain, of course!). Plz, pay these 2 whatever they ask for!! They're worth every penny. Although you probably don't have to pay Colin as much as Michael, cuz his wife is a rich actress (yuk, yuk). But I love it all ...

Let me clear up the misinformation. Ebony Alerts are not for black children. They are for black teens, young adults, and mentally handicapped. These are high risk missing persons with an overwhelmingly low return rate and a much higher unresolved number of cases compared to other races
Racists love segregation. I'm surprised they aren't segregating the schools next, maybe busses should be segregated too.
