I don't know how it works where you live, but in Brazil and in the USA, the maintenance of a BMW is absurdly more expensive and difficult than that of a golf and therefore, it devalues much more on resale.
I'd take the Golf R. With a stage 1 tune for $1k it would blow the doors off the M240...and like everyone says, it's so much more practical. It's the all around best bang for the buck
A note on the second rolling race..... I'd call that a tie. I'd also say you need a better camera. Slow motion would serve you well. In the frame right before the cones the Honda was barely ahead, in the next frame(after the cones) the VW was barely ahead.
It would be similar to an Acura TLX 2.0T SH-AWD vs a TLX 2.0T FWD. The SH-AWD will get the jump off the line, but the FWD will walk it down afterwards and win by a car length or two. AWD adds weight and drivetrain losses, but adds to grip and handling.

I have one. Great performance not many hot hatches can live with it. However, not much character I part’exd a 2018 focus rs edition. Worst decision of my life. The focus had much more character, rawness and too be honest noise! Id swap it back in a blink of an eye.

Saving 3K and buying, a Golf R instead of a M240i has to be the worst decision in automotive history
Not rly, most people need the added practicality, but as a driver's car sure
Literally not true
I don't know how it works where you live, but in Brazil and in the USA, the maintenance of a BMW is absurdly more expensive and difficult than that of a golf and therefore, it devalues much more on resale.
I'd take the Golf R. With a stage 1 tune for $1k it would blow the doors off the M240...and like everyone says, it's so much more practical. It's the all around best bang for the buck

Im getting kind of bored of these drag races, i want to see what the cars are like in the corners, not just on a straight line
You were hoping the civic could win or at least not smoked that bad right
A note on the second rolling race..... I'd call that a tie. I'd also say you need a better camera. Slow motion would serve you well. In the frame right before the cones the Honda was barely ahead, in the next frame(after the cones) the VW was barely ahead.
You need to make a brabus race between the rocket 900, the new 911, the e63 brabus, the taycan and the g wagon
I really wanna see a FWD Honda Civic V.S AWD Honda Civic, that'd be amazing.
What Honda is AWD?
@@speedyblacksheriff probably converted to AWD. I just wanna see how much of a difference there is between the two.

I've had my Type R nearly four years. Launching is an arse, but in every other regard it's awesome. Not planning on changing it for automatic straight line machine. Corners are fun too!
Just got a brz. Totally agree, I remember people making fun of merican cars being only good at straight lines. Now that every car weighs as much as a whale, only thing they can be good at is straight line speed.
