    He doesn’t have the bad attitude of Ryan Leaf
    He doesn’t have a work ethic issue ala JaMarcus

    To be honest, I don't think even CJ Stroud would have been successful in this organization and I say that he was a better complete quarterback prospect than Young. The biggest problem for the Panthers on that offensive side is the fact that they had gotten completely different position coaches from completely different offensive philosophies. To make matters worse they try to make an offensive line full of running-style maulers into a zone blocking scheme. No quarterback could be successful in that position.

    • @lawrencemalone1900
      @lawrencemalone1900 8 дней назад +7

      He would. He has success now there is no reason to think he wouldn’t. Let’s just be real everyone was horribly wrong about CJ not being the first overall pick it’s ok to just admit that instead of saying he wouldn’t do this or that when in fact he is on the Texans who was just as bad as Carolina before the draft.

    • @manzac112
      @manzac112 8 дней назад

      @@lawrencemalone1900 Even going into the draft, I said that Stroud was the better quarterback. Here's the difference between the Texans and the Panthers, since they are two different organizations going opposite directions. The Texans weren't being meddled by Jack Easterby, they at least had weapons for CJ to throw to, it also helped that they drafted the defensive cornerstone for their franchise, and their play style wasn't discombobulated by different offensive positions coaches with different philosophies. You wouldn't be saying this if CJ Stroud didn't play like an MVP candidate last year.

      @manzac112 8 дней назад +1

      @@cristianmunoz2480 The Texans didn't have the best receiving room, but they were better than the Panthers receiving room. Robert Woods was a good veteran receiver and good locker room guy that the younger receivers could learn from, Dalton Schultz was a great safety blanket Tight End, Devin Singletary was a serviceable veteran running back, and some of the younger receivers stepped up. The Panthers receiving room was worse especially after trading DJ Moore in the package to get Bryce Young to begin with. There's a lot more that goes on to turning around an organization then just drafting a different quarterback.

    I think the people saying CJ would struggle (In Carolina) aren't completely wrong, but I think that statement also discredit's CJ's talent. Similar to a Joey Burrow situation, I think CJ would've showed you flashes during his rookie season to get him help and have the terrible team go "All In|" Just like Cincinnati Did for Burrow. Remember, the Bengals owner was a kind of a tepid person and let Marvin Lewis disappoint for almost a decade, but all it took was seeing what he had in Joey B and he opened up his checkbook. I think a similar story would've formed with CJ
    It's very telling that during Bryce's rookie into sophomore season, the story wasn't about building around his talents. It was getting a coach in their to "fix" what was wrong. Bryce never showed the type of talent that told you he could be a real player in this league, and that matters. I think its fair to say no one sees a Bryce Young led team taking down the chiefs, and that is an absolute problem when he is the #1 pick of the franchise
