Jordan Love’s ascension makes a great case for being patient with your rookie QB, putting talent around him, and building a winning culture instead of throwing him to the wolves.
Imagine if the dumpster fire Bears took Patrick Mahomes at #1 and made them their Day 1 starter instead of him winding up on a consistently great team in KC with an amazing coach.

“Putting talent around” is alittle much. His most experienced WR last year was Doubs, who was a second year receiver. Love elevated the entire team, which was by far the youngest in the league last year. But you’re right. Rodgers, Brady, Mahomes are the best QBs I’ve seen with my own two eyes, and all of them sat and learned before starting.
Hey guys, sometimes weird things happen and I make mistakes that I miss when going back over the video. Sorry about that. 1) I edited out a bit of the Justin Herbert section during the 2023 season because of a few dumb mistakes, but I will at least provide some information. Prior to the season, Herbert signed a $262.5 million dollar deal, but the season went poorly for the team. They went 5-12, HC Brandon Staley was fired, and Herbert had a good season that was ended early due to injury. 2) The 2021 Eagles DID make the playoffs, but were smoked in round 1.
Herbert gets too much of a pass for all his teams struggling. When the Chargers struggle its everyone's fault but his. And his rookie season has been the peak of his career thus far. His numbers have declined every season. Now Jim Harbaugh joins the team and he concludes that the way to win is by taking it out of Herbert's hands.
Also, I would like to point out that the Eagles DID make the playoffs in 2021 with a 9-8 record as a 7th Seed and lost to Tampa Bay in the Wild Card that year!
As a die-hard Cincinnati Bengals fan, I'm so glad that Joe Burrow is the quarterback for the Bengals. Took my Bengals to a Super Bowl appearance, then the next year went back to the AFC Championship game. I know that the Bengals are 1-4 right now and it's been a disappointment right now but it's not because of Joe Burrow. The offensive line is still terrible and the defense is so damn trash and terrible. As long as Joe Burrow is the quarterback for mt Bengals, I will forever have faith. Joe Burrow has brought many Bengals fans like me so much hope and joy that we had been waiting for so many years
My mom is from Cincy and we lived in California for a while. She went to the Superbowl in LA and despite the loss, she was incredibly proud of her team. I will always root for the Bengals, even as a Niners fan ;)
When the Saints first got Drew Brees they still had too many weaknesses for realistic expectations, but he was a great start to what was eventually to come. Joe was able to still get to the superbowl under those conditions, so as long as the Bengals continue to build like the Saints slowly did they are eventually going to become a dynasty.

This breakdown of the 2020 QB class is fascinating! With Burrow's injuries piling up, do you think the Bengals should consider prioritizing his long-term health over short-term success, or is the Super Bowl window too narrow to pass up?

That wentz pick at 23:03 was insanely bad.
The thumbnail is actually amazing
It took 4 years for Joe Burrow to turn into one of the Children of the Damned.
Jalen Hurts made the playsoff his first full year starting in 2021 and the eagles were 9 and 8 and snuck in as a wild card team
man it feels like this class just happened but at the same time it hasn't
Amazing Video as always ✊🏼
When the guy in SpongeBob said he was born with glass bones and paper skin little did we know he was talking about Tua
Hold on dont fotget 2012 QBs that draft
RG3, Andrew Luck, Russell Wilson, Ryan Tannehill...etc
Tom made a name for himself there.
Completely forgot that Jalen Hurts actually started out wearing the #2 jersey
Joe Burrow played linebacker in high school
The eagles did make the playoffs in 2021. They were the 7 seed and got washed by the Bucs
2020 class about to be one of the best draft classes of all time.
Jj still the Best palyer from this draft
Can you do the 2015 and 2017 QB draft classes?
i’m gonna lie. the broncos look so good‼️‼️
Take a shot every time this guy says “resiliency” 😂😂
Even during the rough start to the 2023 season love definitely had games and flashes that he could do it . He just needed to iron out the consistency and once he finally started to get comfortable we saw the type of QB he could be. His ceiling is about as high as anyone in the league
I LOVE UTAH STATE, YA'LL ARE MY FAVORITE AGGIES!
KTO you REALLY need to start double and triple checking the script in videos that you make because for a channel of this size you shouldnt be getting things wrong this much
what'd he get wrong?
@@Xaden023The 2021 Eagles did in fact make the playoffs as a 7 seed and he forgot to mention that Herbert had an injury in 2023. KTO actually recently posted a comment on this video addressing those misses I just mentioned.
I was excited about the Love pick because of what Zac Schomler said that yr about him. He was the only person I trusted talking about QBs. His analysis was pretty much spot on the yr before and I believe the yr before that. And rite now he was 100% correct about Love as well. Strong opinion sport was his pod
Turns out, this was the absolute year to get quarterbacks.
You should revisit this Wr class… crazy what’s happened in 4 years
Mando has been clutch for may
ANDY DALTON MAKES JOE BURROW LOOK LIKE A ROOKIE!
Arguably will be one of the greatest QB classes all time when it’s said and done it is interesting though how high the highs are for each of the guys but to the same degree how very low the lows are in a sense whilst all having very good careers so far from a season to season perspective there play is very volatile
I still remember where I was when Love was selected, pissed af, crazy time 😂
The year of the J quarterbacks except tua
Hawk
Great vid, man.
Not sure how you made this mistake but the Eagles DID make the playoffs in 2021 (a loss to Tampa in the WC round). The Chargers failed to make the playoffs in 2023. The Bill were the ones beaten by KC in the divisional round. Gotta double check your info amigo.
Tua will come back better like he always does
Blink twice if Jalen is in the room with you
24:09 the eagles made the playoffs in 2021…
That's what I'm saying
It’s sad when teams can’t protect their rookie quarterbacks, ending their career before it really gets started…
One of the Greatest QB classes in history
I’d been calling Jordan love b4 he got drafted to sit behind rogers. I was expecting him to start right away somewhere sitting behind rogers was the best thing for him
FYI the eagles did not fall short of the playoffs in Hurts first year starting. They made the playoffs and lost to Tom Brady and the Bucs in the wild card.
Could be the best qb class if they can all stay healthy
13:15 actually it was actually two DAYS later not two games lol which makes it even more horrifying
This breakdown of the 2020 QB class is fascinating! With Burrow's injuries piling up, do you think the Bengals should consider prioritizing his long-term health over short-term success, or is the Super Bowl window too narrow to pass up?
KTO... I did almost 4 years of BJJ here in Orlando with American Top Team. We have some Gracie places here, too. If you ever make it to Orlando, I'll roll with you and whip your a**. Lmao! Oh... I won't stink while we roll. Love your videos.
Lol I'll come back to this comment and let you know if this ever happens!
@@KTOfootball Good stuff.
I completely forgot Hurtz was from this draft class. I think all those Hulu commercials had me thinking he was earlier than 2020 😅
3:03 🙏❤️
Is it just me or did Grossi look like that guy from Gotham who played the "Joker".
Tua.... why is it that he treats his helmet like a basketball. I'm not saying that he did it on purpose. His concussions just always came on his head hitting the ground. Does the dude have no neck muscles to keep his head from hitting the ground? This isn't a knock on ANYTHING. It's just weird to me. Some of the hits were just normal and average until his head bounced off of the ground.
As a Jags fan, I'll be the first to admit that we've had some bad drafts, but the 2020 class was one of the worst draft classes ever.
joe burrow when firing on all cylinders is the best qb in the nfl hands down
Burrow is my favourite QB. But peak Mahomes is better, the scrambling ability and the magic he conjures in important moments is crazy. That being said. Burrow is having a great season so far and mahomes sucks right now.
