This could be another 2022 or 2019 QB class. Some teams will reach for a Kenny Pickett or Daniel Jones. The best bet will be to swing a day 3 pick on a QB, you could get a backup, a PS dude, or if you're lucky a Brock Purdy.
This QB class is so interesting, my top 10 QBs video I put out recently is just so different from yours, but almost everyone has an entirely different opinion. That’s what makes this class so interesting this year, great video!
You're forgetting about Will Howard. Not a perfect prospect, but his decision making has improved significantly from when he was at K-State. He's a big, strong, tough both mentally and physically, and could make a good career backup.
I can see the Rams getting Beck in the late first or second and have him sit behind his fellow bulldog for a year or more. But I will say, I’ve never seen a quarterback with that long of a neck succeed in the NFL.
I'm a life long Jets fan so I know what a first round burst looks like and all these guys are more likely to bust than not. I'm also a Georgia fan and would touch Beck until day 2.
Sounds like if you need a QB and have a top 5 pick, trade back and see what’s left, they’re all dart throws. Especially if trading back can help you get some extra picks to shore up the offensive line and/or get a good blocking TE.
Definitely a draft class where the team that drafts these guys is key 🔑 Example: Malik Willis - Raw and underdeveloped w/ Titans - Improved and capable w/ Packers. Development will tip the scales for most these guys
What do you think of the jets taking a guy like Jaxson dart in the 2nd or 3rd (via trade) and taking BPA (best pick available) with their 1st and keeping Tyrod and have him teach dart? Assuming Rodgers retires or gets released. As a jets fan it’s time to cut our losses and actually rebuild

Exactly. I wonder why he didn’t bring up any possible off the field issues for any of the white quarterbacks he discussed. Also, the offhand comment to make Jalen Milroe a running back rubbed me the wrong way.
@@isaiahhoward god can y'all just drop this argument. The nfl is predominately black, no one gives a solitary shit what color a player is as long as they can make plays. And if you don't mention Milroes ability to run the ball then nobody would be talking about him at all bc he would not be power 5. He has a good arm, but does not have as much passing experience and needs to develop. The only reason any pro team would consider him is bc he is a freak athlete.
I think Allar can be a stud, in next years draft. I think if he’s molded with a good franchise, I think he can be a Big Ben type player. I would love if the Browns let him develop on their roster and be the guy they build around, but if he goes to a team with a good situation like Seattle, I think he can be a serious threat in the pros down the line.
I think a QB with really good potential in the NFL would be Tyler Shough. It's a shame he's a senior. He's very calm under pressure, and goes through his progression like a veteran. His only issue is that he has difficulty looking up the middle, but he's still only had 5 INT this entire year with over 2k yards. If he had the right coach or senior QB in the NFL (Like Flacco/Rodgers) to build him up, Shough would be a great pick.
@@maxbublik4545 No, he sounds like he just needs more development. Unfortunately, he wasn't given the proper development at Texas Tech and Oregon. Louisville's been the only team to let him grow, and it's working well for them. I'm sure he'd do very well in the NFL. He has proper basics down, and honestly is only stunted because of the schedule Louisville has. He'd be more popular if he were in the SEC.
I agree, Shough is the underrated gem of this group...He makes NFL throws all the time.. I liked his talent since he was at Oregon...He can ball....Jason Dart and Cam Ward are 3 best QBs
Not sure if you've done this yet, but can you do a video on Cam Rising? Very interested to hear your take on his hype vs his performance in his very few games over seven years.
I think these experts couldn’t be more wrong about sanders. He doesn’t throw the ball downfield and when he does it’s to Travis Hunter. A TON of his big yardage throws are screen passes to Hunter too.
@@ChillxBlacky yeah because Utah shut down the Hunter screen game so sanders targeted westar about 18 times staring down one receiver completing like 10 of those passes. He’s going to be a huge bust dawg and you know it.
I think we will get more than a few starters out of this class, but probably not a to 10 qb IMO. Its not about how good you are in college its about how your talent translates to the NFL. A guy like Drew Allar has NFL traits but plays in a system that really just wants him to be good on third down and playaction.
Cam Ward I think is the only one here who can stand on the same city block with the top 3 QB picks of 2023. And the difference between him and Sanders and all the others is as wide as the ocean separating the US continent from Europe.
Hot take. I think Jaxon Dart will end up being the best NFL QB out of this draft other than Sanders. Sanders just has too many assets outside of football to fail but Dart just seems all around solid.
My gut feeling is that Dart and Milroe will end up being the 2 most successful NFL players regardless of when they’re drafted……and I’m a HUGE Canes/Cam Ward fan.
Sanders should be the best quarterback of the draft. This, however, is highly dependent on two things: first, the tens that drafts him can’t just throw him out to die behind a bad OLine and expect him to work with subpar skill position players. Second, and this may be bigger than most want to admit, but the coach and GM can’t let Prime be apart of the show, especially if he goes to a major media market. Sanders is a good QB and can be a great one in the NFL, I just don’t trust Deion to not show up and not ruin everything for his son.
Honestly I think Ward’s footwork and play style are absolute deal breakers. The stuff he is able to do in college will not fly in the NFL if he can’t fix his footwork and spontaneousess.
If I were hired this year as a new hc on a rebuilding team, I'd pass on qb till next year. I'd even trade away whatever talent left on the roster searching for 2026 first round picks instead of 2025 firsts. This year would be just a throw away season and wouldn't start seriously investing in building up the roster till next year
I think the sleeper is Maverick McIvor of Abilene Christian University. Look at these stats... Completions 292, Attempts 467, Interceptions 5, Yards 3675, Touchdowns 29
Personally I don't think anyone of them are "NFL" ready on day one. They're better off being a backup while learning how to run an NFL offense. You trying to start them day one you're going to end up with a QB who's confidence is shot to hell and your team is worse off than they were before drafting anyone of them.
Shedeur and Ward are gonna go top 10 for sure. And if Richardson went top 5 then I’d be shocked if Milroe with his athletic upside doesn’t go high as well. But that’s probably it. Maybe someone likes the high floor of Gabriel but I reckon he goes day 2 with Ewers.
10:04 site your source. I need to hear where you got that from. Also what off the field “drama” does Shedeur have? People keep saying that but never say what the off the field drama is
I am not confident that there will be any quarterback in this draft class that will be a franchise NFL quarterback. A few may be good enough to be a league average NFL starting quarterback and a few more may be good enough to stick around a few years as a career backup. If I were an NFL GM, I would not want to rely on any of these quarterbacks to develop into my franchise quarterback.
your intro let me know that you should not be speaking on this topic. No clear cut #1, what?!? The choice has never been clearer. 1. Milroe is Anthony Richardson 2.0. He is a running QB. Unlike people that use that term for slanderous porposes, he does not have the yards, accuracy or consistency, AS A QUARTERBACK, to be ranked in the top 5. He only gets into the conversation because he plays at Alabama. 2. Beck is a dumpster fire. Inaccurate, living off previous years accomplishments, and is a turnover machine. 3. Cam flirts with disaster every other week. He is a great talent, but he has put his team in situations that they had to come back from. He has the 10th best offensive line in the nation. Yet, he only has 600 more yards than the true #1 qb in this draft. And with better protection, he is only TWENTY SECOND in completion percentage?!? 4. If anyone is honestly saying that Shedeur is not the #1 prospect in this draft you either dont know football or you really hate the Sanders name. And i am not throwing that idea out there for impact or to be controversial. The man has an offensive line ranked in the 70's, yet he is is 4th in completion percentage - 4th. While being the 5th most sacked QB. So under pressure he is going to get the ball to where it needs to be and he is not going to put you in holes you have to dig yourself out of dang near all the time. While being precise with the dimes, he is 3 in TD's in all of college football. If you sit here and tell me you are confused or you can't legitimately see he is number one, then you clearly don't want to see it. If Shedeur was on Georgia's roster, they would be undefeated this year because he would get the ball to all the recievers with all the time he would have in the pocket - minus the turnovers. If he had Cam's line in Miami, you are not "almost" losing to Cal, and you would have been ahead of Georgia Tech because of the precision passes to the receivers. Neither of them could come to CU, with this O-line, and do what he is doing. Hell, they can't even be better than him now with excellent lines! There is no competition.
I could not agree more. The SEC bias is real. Milroe cracks under pressure, Beck is overhyped, Cam is good but the only reason he's even in the conversation is because of bad official calls. I'm not a fan of Shedeur, personally (Walking off the field when your team is losing is piss poor stuff), but you can't deny that he and Travis Hunter are layin' it down in CO.
@ I appreciate you looking beyond that to recognize the actual talent. It’s not just SEC bias. It’s acting like there is a logjam or the competition is too close to call. With a middle of the pack o-line he is in the top 5 in percentage for passing. Imagine with actual support. His numbers would be ridiculous. So the fake confusion and bias has to stop.
He doesn't have the mobility or frame of Josh Allen though, and that's what really makes Allen special. I think a super underrated comp is Jay Cutler, just (hopefully) minus some of the attitude concerns
The problem with Quinn Ewers is his confidence believe it or not. When he is confident and he has proper blocking he is the best quarterback in this class, but like in the Georgia game when he doesn't have proper blocking and his confidence is shot he is like Sam Darnold with the Jets, and can't even throw to a wide open receiver.
When it comes to this draft class, I think there are plenty of QBs who can succeed in the NFL, but they will all be multi-season projects for the team that drafts them. I don't see a Stroud or Daniels coming out of this class.
Dillon Gabriel should apply for a 7th year of eligibility. 100% he’ll make more in NIL money than he would next year in the NFL because he’s a 6th or 7th round pick at best and likely a practice squad player in the NFL. I know he won’t get a 7th year but I agree with you. Being a QB for 6 years and 3 different schools is pretty stupid. I already know a bunch of QB’s who play for a certain team this year will be somewhere else next year. Same thing for not just QBs but everyone moves around even if they’re in a good environment because a school might come in and vulture one of your best players by simply offering more NIL money through the player’s agent. That’s absolutely 100% what happened to Gabriel. That and knowing he might get exposed badly in the SEC.
You keep saying shaduer has off the field issues but never have any evidence to back that up🤦🏽♂️ lose any credibility when you say stuff like that just because you don’t like the way someone carries themselves.
they mean how his confidence sometimes turns into arrogance, the NFL is a business at the end of the day and while there’s some nfl clubs that’ll take the chance on business like that a lot of others won’t. you don’t want the face of your franchise saying/doing arrogant things and then it goes the opposite way

@@phattylavyeah this guy obviously dosent watch the games. Everything you said was true. If Penn state is able to get some recievers for next season I believe Allar will do great

Shedeur is clearly the most pro ready in this class

Hes going to be a major hust with all his fanboys running their mouth....Hes really not better than these other QBs...He doesn't anticipate or process that well....Not that mobile, doesn't set protections well, also likes to throw his teammates under the bus in press conferences
Next years class look so much better honestly. Arch, Nico, even a guy like sellers could work his way into first round talk
A video on why Penn State can never get over the next hurdle of competing against top teams would be interesting. Is it James Franklin? Is it the location of the school? Are there not enough top 5 star prospects in Pennsylvania and the surrounding states?
Shedeur and Ward are my 2 top guys. After that, it’s a pretty good drop off.
I dont this so...What does Shedeur do better than Jaxson Dart? Nothing

And it's ironic that the Raiders will have a high draft pick and get a mediocre QB after getting robbed of trying to get a good one this year.
I think Sanders is the clear cut best QB
How so ?
No
Did he say Jackson dart lost to olemiss?

I think he would be good as a starter potentially
I just hope Dolphins draft one of them. Love Tua but we need a backup plan.
Would love Dart as QB2
I can see the Rams getting Beck in the late first or second and have him sit behind his fellow bulldog for a year or more. But I will say, I’ve never seen a quarterback with that long of a neck succeed in the NFL.
Your content is so good
Will Howard is underrated
Howard and McCord both imo.
2 is the best qb on this list. He been working. Last year when the line was trash he still was doing well.
Jaxon Dart is so underrated
I'm a life long Jets fan so I know what a first round burst looks like and all these guys are more likely to bust than not. I'm also a Georgia fan and would touch Beck until day 2.
Jets fan here...please get Allar
Sounds like if you need a QB and have a top 5 pick, trade back and see what’s left, they’re all dart throws. Especially if trading back can help you get some extra picks to shore up the offensive line and/or get a good blocking TE.
Definitely a draft class where the team that drafts these guys is key 🔑
Example: Malik Willis - Raw and underdeveloped w/ Titans - Improved and capable w/ Packers.
I would like a qb in the first we have the talent on offense it’s just not translating I could see them drafting a defensive guy in the first as well
Great vid
do a video like this for all the core positions, rb, wr esc
*Shedeur has never had “Off the field drama” lol he's a 4.0 student, never been arrested, never had any accusations. That's wild that you would repeat that lol. Also, 8 NFL Gms have him as the first QB off the board and every coach in college has said he's the best QB in college. But that “Off field drama” line shows you have no idea what you're talking about lol. If you can tell me 2 off the field issues ill cash app you $1000*
4.0 because he has people to do his schoolwork for him lol. Only time he actually went to class was when he had cameras following him around, because he’s a fucking diva like his dad and brothers

Sanders is gonna be the first QB taken. He is better than Ewers for sure. I think the order of the first 4 QBs Sanders,Ward,Milroe and Ewers
Agree 👍
With how many guys who might go back to school, we should really be talking about Will Howard more as a 4-7 round guy.
All dart has done since being at ole miss is gotten better and better. i feel like he is first round ready
Sheduer won the Unitas award we need a revised list fam
I think a QB with really good potential in the NFL would be Tyler Shough. It's a shame he's a senior. He's very calm under pressure, and goes through his progression like a veteran. His only issue is that he has difficulty looking up the middle, but he's still only had 5 INT this entire year with over 2k yards. If he had the right coach or senior QB in the NFL (Like Flacco/Rodgers) to build him up, Shough would be a great pick.
The way you describe him makes him sound exactly like a career backup/ xfl player
The only good thing about this class is that many of them have alot of experience.
This is literally not true and watching a full game would let u know that lmao
@ I’ve watched the two most recent ones. It’s true.
@@jawnhansen235you didn’t watch their last game because hunter only had 50 yards lmao
Gotta mention my goat will Howard
That Allar game against OSU hurt my soul
As a Saints fan I would be ok with any of the top 3 QBs.

People said the same thing about Jayden Daniels though
First video I’ve seen from you (thanks algorithm!) but I couldn’t agree more on your placements, especially regarding Gabriel, Ewers, and Sanders
Jaxon Dart implosion this week makes him a day 3 guy at best
First time I’ve seen ewers ranked above Sheduer in like 4 months, that’s bizarre
The top 3 qbs to me-
1. Ward
2. Sanders
3. Allar
You must not have watched the USC game one of his picks was on a Hail Mary attempt

@@ScottFisherCFB Cook that fraud😤😤
10:04 site your source. I need to hear where you got that from. Also what off the field “drama” does Shedeur have? People keep saying that but never say what the off the field drama is
Ward, Sanders, Milroe, and Allar are my top 4 for me. Allar’s USC game is very overblown and 4 of his 5 picks weren’t even his fault.
Beck is gonna play in the NFL like Daniel Jones without the wheels
your intro let me know that you should not be speaking on this topic.
Drew Allar has been solid just taken out of games early and doesn’t have weapons to play better also Carson Beck shouldn’t even be a second round pick
Drew has been really good, just not having a star receiver has definitely killed his stats, you can't elevate a team with just good receivers.
Ewers looks like a Josh Allen type of guy, can make big plays with his arm but has spotty accuracy at times
Not at all doesn’t have the legs or power of Josh ewers is more of a lower value Bree’s type of player
He doesn't have the mobility or frame of Josh Allen though, and that's what really makes Allen special. I think a super underrated comp is Jay Cutler, just (hopefully) minus some of the attitude concerns
I was thinking Matthew Stafford
Hes not nearly as big, strong, fast or mentally tough as Josh Allen but sure let's just throw that comparison out there for some reason
@@Zaghzackio I’m just saying what I see in him bro, don’t be pressin
In my opinion the top 3 QBs in college football by study are Cam Ward, Jaxson Dart, Dillion Gabriel
It’s actually not complicated at all just a tough situation. There are a lot of teams that need QBs and this class is just not very good.
Cam Ward has 74 turnovers in college. Just a little to chew on....I would not put him at the top. He has multiple 3 fumble games.
Sanders! Sure wish the Falcons would have gotten him next year! Beck I believe has a Covid year and if he uses it as a UGA fan I will be sick
I’d rather be 0-17 for the next two years and get Arch over taking any of these guys. But if I’m taking one, it’d be Dart in the 2nd.
Cam Ward is by far the best QB in this class, it’s really not even close if you look at any advanced metrics.
Drew Allar is qb 4 even higher maybe he’s a beast
Him not having a star receiver has hurt him. He's more of an NFL style QB than College too. I think he'll have a much better NFL career than college.
He did bad against the only ranked team though OSU
@ no he didn’t Penn States wide receivers did bad unless your talking about a year ago
When it comes to this draft class, I think there are plenty of QBs who can succeed in the NFL, but they will all be multi-season projects for the team that drafts them. I don't see a Stroud or Daniels coming out of this class.
Shedeur is fool's gold, just like JJ
0:28 no one thinks Ewers is lmfao
Ive been saying for years now that the only thing carson beck does better than Stetson Bennett is be tall and a couple years younger
Can we get a rb breakdown!?
If u actually knew ball u would’ve been able to see tht this is how the qb draft order was going to shape out in the beginning of the season
