I worked in a Bakery and culinary school for years one thing to do is Never put flowers directly into a cake they are toxic even artificial flowers need to be wrapped Glad press and seal wrap is great for that a lot of people use floral tape but the floral tape is not a food-grade material But that does look really good you did a great job

Natural flowers should be cover on the stings since the had fluid at the moment you cut them and that could contaminate the cake
But overall you did a grate job I'm subscribing to your channel
Probably that’s can happen with some kind of flowers
But I’m sure the cake will be ok with this flowers I use

The cake drum is just used at the bottom. The other tiers are placed on cake boards which are less dense.
