I'm just watching this video now, from 2 years ago, and realizing how much I miss Bob interacting with Brad on a daily basis. The two of them would bounce off each other with comments and added insights so naturally.
Laying in bed watching this and tomorrow I will be referring back to this for my left hip. I really dont have mobility problems and do fairly well and love hiking and walking but I still have a naggy hip that does get tender over night. Being up during the day is no problem but I will be doing these and decompress to give my hip the best chances. I do have a 4 inch topper on bed that seems to help but some mornings it can be a bit tender. Thanks for the tips.
@@10oliveoil is that a drug? I am not familiar. I dont take any drugs because it is not that bad and hope not to. I will stick with stretches. When I eat my best anti inflammatory diet it helps tremendous with all your joints so that is my preferred method.
Here's a link to our playlist for hip replacement, we have a few videos for after hip replacement that you can use: ruclips.net/p/PL8l32k1r15l6X_ymbXkEJZtu_OmYVF5AZ
As im recovering from Covid, my unbelievably tight hips are even tighter than ever… just said earlier that I need to stretch my hips out…. This is why I’m a subscriber.. you guys always pull through
Thanks so much for these stretches. I'm trying to avoid having hip replacement surgery, and these exercises could very well help. And I hate getting on the hard floor!
You guys are sooo helpful. I really appreciate your videos. Glad to see you back Bob! You guys are just so funny. It was very nice to meet your wife, Brad! Are you going to have Bob's wife on sometime? Bless you guys. 🌝⚘💥💕
I have had right hip thigh and knee pain for two years and sometimes it's so bad I can't even get in and out of my car 😫 I found this video last night and did these exercises for about an hour and this morning I am 98% pain-free! I can't tell you how amazed I am I honestly thought I needed a hip replacement and I'm only 55! I cannot thank you enough these exercises are beyond incredible. I now think my problem was in my hip being too tight and the pain was radiating down my thigh to my knee and my shin! Amaaaaazing! 🤗
Exactly same for me! Have researched lots over the last few months .. sciatica? Piriformis? IT band? Could be a combination of all those AND tight hips as well!! So glad Bob and Brad are around for us 😻.
Lol talking about Elvis! And "were you alive then...?" You 2 are brilliant and loving fractals of the universe ~ which we all are ~ if we would all just realize this!!
Thank you! I've been doing the cross over when I sit to watch TV at night. I do the wall stretch in the mornings. As well as the stretches with legs in bed. They make a big difference! 😊❤
My hips have been hurting like heck. They hurt so much like they feel bruised. Before that it was my knees. I'm still growing and developing and so maybe it's that. Thanks for this video.
I can't find a defined wording on the internet or your channel for my painful area. I want to find a video to watch. The area of pain is the bottom of the pelvic bone. Underneath, bottom of the bum. (Might help to know I am a cyclist but not a long distance die hard, 2 rides 25 miles per week approximately.) I can feel that my problem side is raised, more lumpy, more than the side without the problem. It affects sitting and I find comfort raising my knee to my chest. Do you have a video to watch? I don't have back pain.
Hello I’m 21 years old and I’ve got illiachus hip tendinopathy and ant tib tendinitis both in my right leg, and I’m told compartment syndrome in my lower right leg. I was extremely active soccer player, gym weight training and cycling, now I can’t even walk without pain, please can you send tips and advice if you have a spare minute, it’s making me so depressed I can’t do the things I love most at the age of 21
You can do supine piriformis stretch, sidelying hip abduction , lower trunk rotation and bridge exercise You can put a ball between your knees and gently squeeze for 5 counts
We have a lot of videos for SI joint issues, here is a link to our playlist on them. Hopefully you can find a video or two that will help: ruclips.net/p/PL8l32k1r15l6i6dx-2x_-vh3KQGh4SMY0
@Lauri Kellison.... I'm just watching this video 2 years later, and reading a few of the comments. I see yours and it perfectly describes what is happening to me currently... "migrating arthritis". I'm sorry to hear that maybe happening to you, but it sure is nice to know that I'm not alone.
Greetings, according to the recent theory we hear, they should not pull their hips or allow any chiro pulls, because the skin starts to pull oxygen which after that may lead to terrible inflamation, dislocation, even hip replacement. These chiro pulls may tear important ligaments, tissues or cartilage. We think a massage is a good option. Our exercise activates specific muscles which completely heals hip and low back back pain. It is a very good pre warm up, pre work exercise if there is pain. We think the best back pain and sciatical pain hip exercise is at the stairs. We should use one hand for support, left lateral part of the leg is straight and pushes the wall laterally outwards elastic band like /if you remember Dodgens titanium ankles tutorial, he used to push walls for a rehab with his ankles. After 10-20 reps we should switch to the opposite side, use one hand for support, outer part of the right foot pushes the wall laterally. Approximately second stair gently supports the back part of the calcaneus while the ankle laterally pushes the wall outwards. If you remember how elastic bands/wall attached/ used to enormously reduce the plexus pain, it is a similar exercise, so if we make 3-4 sets and be a bit stubborn then any hip or back pain should disappear/no more crutches/. To be fair there is a pressure point but very soon pain disappears. We would hardly get off the chair before, now we can walk and even run without any pain. Of course if we do not feel the pain anymore, we can get some supplements visit the gym, there are very good rehab exercises too, where a gym instructor should recommend a decent technique and range of motion. To be fair we got this pain from very heavy safety shoes /there are lighter ones with plastic toe caps /. If there is some pain, we think this exercise is the best pre warm up pain preventive exercise + some semi squats and lifts. We have invented this exercise, Thanks to our athletics and volleyball coach Женикъ Желязков and the plexus pain strenghtening technique he taught us. We thank God every day he shared his intelligent vision and knowledge with us.
We didn't know about this rehabilitation exercise before, we couldn't normally perform our activities, work, sports even sitting was very painful. Please share it, I'm sure it can even lift people with partial disability from the wheelchairs (with low back problems), bring them back to normal life without pain.
Oh those hips, if they're not happy you won't be either! They'll let you know..... Julie does you a great favour, has you looking tall, I do the same for mine! Soccer's out, he's off for an MRI to see his hamstring tear, we've both been stubborn about resting properly!
