      Had 3 surgeries on L-S on lower spine. Only got relief after titanium fusion. My pain was always right leg, helped it by 70-80%. It's been 10 yrs and so far, so good. Hope you get some relief 💔

      Can you ride after your hip replacements ? They say I can maybe ride if I have back surgery for spinal stenosis. At this point it's too expensive, I believe. At this point if I thought prosthetics would make me strong enough to ride again and I had the money i'd be first in line. I can ride fine but I can't mount and dismount. As I am 75 my family won't consider helping me. I'm not a brittle invalid, the last time I managed to get away I rode for 4 1/2 hours without even a bit of soreness. Horses have been my life since I was born....

    What causes your hips to burn when you lay down at night?

    • @dianechilds6107
      @dianechilds6107 3 года назад +2

      Bursitis? That’s what I had along with arthritis which needed hip replacement. They don’t necessarily go together tho.

    • @karenwilliams8594
      @karenwilliams8594 3 года назад +2

      I second the bursitis answer. I have bursitis and arthritis. The bursitis is very noticeable when I lay down. It is odd, sometimes I have to lay on my other side, but then I have to lay on that side to get comfortable.

    Y'all are hilarious. Brad I think you need to do the "Froggie" more often. LOL! Seriously love these hip openers. I like and recommend stretching the side that felt tighter in the 'Pigeon' longer as to avoid imbalances that cause rotation in the pelvis. Would you Boys agree?

    • @angiedamian681
      @angiedamian681 3 года назад

      That’s a lot to take in! But thanks anyways. Doing these exercises too often may overstretch some specific muscles, don’t you think? So, going the direction of the antagonist vs. opposite muscles is safer, do you agree?

    Are most of these safe to do with both hips being replaced? It will be 10 years this summer since the surgeries but the mobility in my left hip got so bad before I got it replaced that it has stayed very stiff even though I had pt at my home for 6 weeks following surgery and then again 2 years ago trying to loosen that hip up. Maybe a little piriformis issue and SI joint, too?

    • @JustBreathewithRachelGreene
      @JustBreathewithRachelGreene 3 года назад

      Hi Sandy, In my experience I would not recommend these for those with hip replacements as to avoid dislocation. There are plenty of exercises you can do to relieve your issues. Good luck!
