Good PT moments for hip mobility and add to those benefits, the mental health therapy of laughing out loud make this a “Save” to watch again video. You guys are the best.
Ok! Where are you two hiding in my home? You've been watching me! My hip, my L4-L5, ugh! Help! You are the two most famous physical therapists on the internet! In my opinion, of course! Bob and Brad!!!♥️💞💝💖💗
Had 3 surgeries on L-S on lower spine. Only got relief after titanium fusion. My pain was always right leg, helped it by 70-80%. It's been 10 yrs and so far, so good. Hope you get some relief 💔
I fell and broke my hip January 20 had surgery the next day replace the ball socket and the spike goes down into my femur I have a prosthetic leg on that side I have prosthetic knee on the other side and my hip flexer feels like it is ready to explode Doctor says may take a year to recover from all this pain well I don’t believe that I got to work today I could barely get out my truck back hurts so bad I could barely move hip hurts it all hurts I’m tired of hurting would you guys please tell me what the heck to do please thank you. I’m also 64 years old and I used to be very active now I can barely roll out of bed in the mornings. Thanks guys! Oh and I had 5 days of physical therapy then it was your on your own buddy. Thanks
Can you ride after your hip replacements ? They say I can maybe ride if I have back surgery for spinal stenosis. At this point it's too expensive, I believe. At this point if I thought prosthetics would make me strong enough to ride again and I had the money i'd be first in line. I can ride fine but I can't mount and dismount. As I am 75 my family won't consider helping me. I'm not a brittle invalid, the last time I managed to get away I rode for 4 1/2 hours without even a bit of soreness. Horses have been my life since I was born.... .
Hey Diane, have you tried working with a Pilates Instructor in your area? We're knowledgeable about which exercises to enjoy AND avoid. You've inspired me to make a video with some safe exercises for hip replacements. Hope you find what you're looking for.
Hey guys! I suffer from femoroacetabular impingement (and am currently awaiting surgery) are these exercises okay for me to do? I was told that I should be trying to increase strength and flexibility of my hip muscles but I also don't want to do more damage.
I wish I could get on the floor, I'm that lady where I've fallen and I can't get up. So.....are there any exercises I can do standing or sitting? Thank you!
I second the bursitis answer. I have bursitis and arthritis. The bursitis is very noticeable when I lay down. It is odd, sometimes I have to lay on my other side, but then I have to lay on that side to get comfortable.
Y'all are hilarious. Brad I think you need to do the "Froggie" more often. LOL! Seriously love these hip openers. I like and recommend stretching the side that felt tighter in the 'Pigeon' longer as to avoid imbalances that cause rotation in the pelvis. Would you Boys agree?
That’s a lot to take in! But thanks anyways. Doing these exercises too often may overstretch some specific muscles, don’t you think? So, going the direction of the antagonist vs. opposite muscles is safer, do you agree?
Are most of these safe to do with both hips being replaced? It will be 10 years this summer since the surgeries but the mobility in my left hip got so bad before I got it replaced that it has stayed very stiff even though I had pt at my home for 6 weeks following surgery and then again 2 years ago trying to loosen that hip up. Maybe a little piriformis issue and SI joint, too?
Hi Sandy, In my experience I would not recommend these for those with hip replacements as to avoid dislocation. There are plenty of exercises you can do to relieve your issues. Good luck!
Prayers for a speedy and complete recovery. Thank you both for everything you do for us. Love every episode

Hey @bob&brad can you make a video talking about the best things to do on a plane ride to help reduce health complications!

BOB! You sound like you’re getting better!!! 🙌🏼 I thought this was an older video at first. Prayers for continued healing.
Love these exercises and it really stretches the hips and I do have both hip replaced and I have no issues doing these including full front splits
I grew up listening to click and clack on the radio with my dad and this fills some kind of nostalgia there somehow. I get a lot from your videos!!
Yes please an anchor for band work I'm in UK. I like all your exercise suggestions with or without gifts and I enjoy the fun. Thank you both

What causes your hips to burn when you lay down at night?
Bursitis? That’s what I had along with arthritis which needed hip replacement. They don’t necessarily go together tho.

Where do you buy wall anchors?
They sell them on their website John. Probably any sporting store would sell also.
All well and good if you can get down and up from the floor!
That thumbnail tho, looks like Brad is showing off his pole dancing technique 😆

Why did you guys find The Child position so difficult? I’m tall and skinny and I find it really stretches my back really well and is relaxing.
Those socks, I want those socks. Where do I get them?
Can you do this with hip replacement posterior I'm 6 months out
Wonderful
I would cramp up in my calf or thigh muscle immediately
How do I get up off the floor now?

Hey guys
I'm sorry but 5:35 is just too funny!
This is not as bad as my ABOUT page
Wait, this isn't a pole dancing video 😞☹️
😂😂😂
I thought he was pole dancing in the thumbnail 😆
👍👌👏👏👏
Thumbnail reminds me of pole dancing
👍🙏🇨🇦
Pole dancing now? As for that first exercise, I could never do that even as a child... too tight of hamstrings....
How sick are you guys? Bob sounds quite unwell.
I have never heard so much moaning and groaning 😖😣😫😩 in my life 😆😆😆😆
Wait until you are 60. It is constant if you have arthritis. 🙂🙃🙂
Dudes are so drunk sounding
Brad is ok.
