Thanks Amie! These are great little projects but sometimes the inevitable happens and things fly 😉 if it happens during a video shoot I wont ever hide it on my channel, I'll show exactly what happens in the process!
Thanks! I apologize for the late reply. The approximate dimension of the snowman are really just eyeballed. I start with a 3x3x10 inch blank. The hat is approximately 1-5/8 inches tall and then the 3 balls are just evenly split from there. Its been so long since i measured it since i work from a story stick to speed up the marking and turning process during production runs.
Impressive work with the carbide detailer. 👍👍Thanks for the video.
Thank you, and thanks for watching!
Frosty went flying lol Awesome work Chase. Love how the first one has the grain circles on every section. ⛄️

Just looks so easy. I have been struggling with a round snowman, instead I get a Marshmallow snowman
Keep practicing and you'll get it! But remember, snowmen come in all shapes and sizes ;) im sure yours are beautiful too!
Like they chant in 'Christmas With the Kranks'; "Free Frosty! Free Frosty!"

What attachements did you use at the headstock and tailstock?
what are some of your body part (snow balls) sizes?
Do you happen to have the approximate measurements? I really like the proportions!
