The block I used is a 2”X 2” X 5.5” You could get away with a shorter block if you did it between centers. Diameters The base is approximately 1.85” The belly is approximately 1.85” The head is approximately 1.50” The hat brim is approximately 1.75” and the hat itself is approximately 1.25” My overall length is approximately 4.70” There is really no magic to these number. If it look good use it. I always make some minor adjustment base off my eye. The base looks bigger but it is just the cove that makes it look that way.
