The reason she shouldn't be on the bow of that boat is because she could be severely cut up or killed by the propeller as the boat travels on top of her after falling in the water within 1 to 2 seconds. It has happened to people before and many states have laws in place against sitting on or leaning over the bow as the boat is moving forward. The inlet has been known for presenting a dangerous situation out of the blue so it is just not a wise thing to do there even though the woman appears to be relaxing and having a wonderful time. For people who know the danger of bow riding and know the laws concerning it would more likely not partake in doing such a thing. As two of his friends trailered the boat, even though he was really embarrassed, he asked the 3rd to have a look 'below', because now being out of the cold water, terrible pain had set in & the bleeding became much worse. Some yacht clubs even insist young children wear pfd's while near or on the docks.
She seems nice... And we just destroyed her 😂😂
I don't see a problem, it's calm and they are enjoying themselves
My uncle would get very upset when “our butts weren’t in our seats” as we approach the marina. I Always remember that about him
RIP UNCLE
He was with out a doubt in this matter a wise man.
My uncle was always concerned with my butt too, but we ain't had no boats
Funny u say that cause while I’m watching these I can hear my grandpa telling us the same thing lol

Never put an extra 300 pounds on the bow of the boat.
Captain was like you know what sweet heart, go sit up front for the cameras. Meanwhile that’s the smoothest ride here ever had going back in.
Captain, we have a weight issue. We’re nose heavy. Transfer ballast from bow to stern and deploy trim tabs. We’re in jeopardy of going down.
Who rides on the bow of a moving boat?? Way too dangerous. Yes, she's happy. That boat captain deserves a ticket.
The captain needed her on the bio for ballast to keep the boat level
Ummm me and my gorgeous high school friends while my dad drove his 30ft skip jack around coronado island at top speed. We all survived just fine hun 😂

I thought at first the dude wearing red was a really bad sunburn until the boat got closer
Sometimes you have to be the "party pooper" to be a proper captain. Safety first.
wow, didnt even know you were allowed to capture walruses and bring them home.
🤣🤣🤣
So who else was waiting for her to fall off??? 😂
One of the deadliest maritime disasters, the Eastland tipped over because it was top-heavy.
Folks if this was a family member of yours wouldn’t you all be pissed off of these comments ? A person shouldn’t be judged by their size . She’s probably a sweetheart of a woman
Just ridiculous
@@andrewfleisch-hy9qmridiculous is your comment. What a douchy thing to say. Who hurt you???
If she was a member of my family I wouldn't let get in harms way to begin with.
We need to bring back fat shaming. Look at the condition of Americans, Westerners, and those abroad who have had the Western lifestyle introduced into their lives.
So she's fat. Does that account for all who she is? Grow up people..she can enjoy this short life as much as she chooses.....even if she shouldn't be on that bow!
For the people who have lovely things to say about this lady enjoying her day - 💯 % respect
Dudette! I was just going to say how easy it would be to make fun of these people. But they're having so much fun and they're not hurting anybody. I'm happy enough at the grin they gave me. And for all I know any number of these rednecks might save me or somebody else from some stupid thing.

Really , these people are stupid no doubt before boating in a place like this you would have heard of how dangerous it is and would have been seated properly with life jackets on. One can see just how rough the water is and how swiftly the current is moving. Them folks need a sign.
No you don’t need a bigger boat, tell the fucker to stop eating or do it in moderation or else he’ll find another skinny once 😅😅😅
She is actually doing the correct thing. If she was at the stern the boat would have sunk already
This inlet should require life jackets at all times

Agree....and "would of", "could have" and "should have" is ALWAYS THE EXCUSE AFTER AN ACCIDENT.
If all these people are really captains owning a boat.....I WILL DRYDOCK!
My friend was a nurse at a large hospital in Newport Beach, Ca. Every now and then she would get a girl with a broken neck or back because they were riding on the bow when they hit a wavy that threw her into the air and when she landed on the bow as it was going up again that was the end of that ride.
Something tells me that lady isn't getting thrown in the air.
This comment needs to be stickied. This is what she's risking.
Manatees are gentle, majestic creatures.
I don’t really see anything wrong with this considering the conditions. She’s having fun, captains in control. No big deal
No actual danger in these conditions. Just enjoy the fact that she is enjoying herself. That’s a lovely emotion. She deserves it methinks.
I was looking for at least ONE like you.
God bless you sir.
That was kind and true in this moment ❤ well said 👏 👍 👌
She's enjoying herself! I love that!😍
Where I’m from it’s illegal to ride on the front of the boat like that, especially a boat that small.
I thought they were pointing out the danger of sitting at the front of the boat, especially with no life jacket in a place known for being unpredictable.
Never exceed the weight limit of your vessel.

Captain should know That a large Person should not be on the front of the boat
This is the first time I've seen a whale actually riding on a boat.
The Nimitz called. They want their anchor back.
Nah she’s the anchor for Bismarck
the museum called
they want the anchor for the yamato. its gone missin

I'll admit, she's doing a great job holding the front of that boat down.

Holy crap, that bow was dipping and the captain had to know that was dangerous telling his wife, go ahead honey it’s the best seat on the boat, have fun!!

That's so dangerous. 😮 People are ignorant as to why until someone's hurt. I'm glad all was well.
Obesity shrinks the brain
People need to know that when you buy a boat. There is training after available for you, so you have at least a better sense of what you're doing to me. This was obviously new people are about having fun but dangerous.

I agree! I came here to comment how rude it was of them to video this! I’d love to see what they look like on the outside. We already see their black inside!

She's sitting up there like the salty, fluffy mermaid she is!
Strapping a deer to your hood is one thing, strapping a whale to your bow is a whole other level.
Sitting there and baking in the sun, skin all hot and dry...then suddenly, the cold, cold reality of the ocean blasts upon you. That water must feel so cold in comparison.
And, the look on her face when she got soaked said so.
She got Celine Dion singing Titanic in her head while riding the waves and waving 😊

A little pre-trip instruction would have gone a long way. “Here are a few things I insist you not do while we are underway - Do not sit on the bow….”
The pilot of the boat? He doesn't care...as long as I don't go overboard.
its so rare to see a blue whale so close to the shore
If she's from Boston, this boat is now a Boston Whaler.

If you're the Captain of a boat, you should know ALL the rules. What your passengers should do as well as what they shouldn't be doing. Sitting where she is sitting is dangerous and she shouldn't be sitting there. The Captain of that boat isn't too smart for letting her sit there. 💭⛵🧠🔍
