- I’ll be adding the basic Copper and Steel parts today. I have plenty of Copper Ingots, Iron Ingots, and Steel Pipes ready to be used. By the end of the video I’ll have 60 Wire, 120 Cable, 100 Copper Sheets, 180 Steel Beams, 270 Steel Pipes, and 30 Encased Industrial Beams being sent to storage and my Dimensional Depots. I will end up with only 60 Steel Pipes going to storage after the next episode. I’ll be using the bulk of them for the future Steel Parts.

The goal for these videos is to show real examples of how load balancing each factory can go. I am by no means an expert and still have a lot to learn. If you see anything out of place or have questions please let me know below!
I enjoy making my own spreadsheets to help plan out my factories. However Satisfactory Tools has a fantastic way to visualize everything and I will be using screenshots from their production planner to help, so huge thanks to them.

always such clean builds. I am working towards it but ... practice, time, patience.
Thank you so much! You nailed the recipe, it's a healthy amount of all three. I still have plenty I want to improve on, but I'm happy with the progress. Good luck!
Very nicely done moo! As always you post satisfactory stuff ill be watching it. Keep up the vids my man
Thank you, I really appreciate that!
When you place the conveyer lift, at 4:00 for example, why not just place another splitter/merger on top of it and then connect the lift and remove the slitter/merger on top? Or does that not give the correct results?
You are asking a terrific question. To be honest it wasn't until this comment that I actually tested it out. It hadn't occurred to me that the lift's 'accordion' bit at the end would go back to its normal size after you saved and reloaded the game. When you delete the splitter/merger the accordion part is 1m longer than it should be. If you try to make a 90 degree turn right out of the lift, the belt would clip through lift by just a little bit. And I really didn't like the way that looked. I never thought to save the game and reload it to see if it shrank that part. Thank you so much for asking!!
@@moo121 Okay I see, thank you!
The accordion also changes back to proper size if you change the speed of the lift
@@cerealsgames3118 That's amazing! Thank you so much!
Do you think it’s absolutely necessary to use the proper belts or can’t I just use the MK 5 belt on everything whether it is required or not?
You can certainly use mk5 more often than not and it’ll be fine, and even a little quicker to start up. The only time you would really need the slower belts is if you are using a smart splitter and using belt speed to get the amount you want to balance.
