GUYS THIS IS SO EMBARASSING. I JUST REALISED. 2 WEEKS AFTER THIS VIDEO WENT UP. THAT THE SHIP ONLY HAS 22 MANUFACTURERS. I NEEDED 26. HOW DID I NOT NOTICE THIS. I'M THE WORST SATISFACTORY PLAYER EVER!!!! anyway i'm just gonna overclock 4 of them to 200% to make up the difference. I can't believe this lmfao i'm genuinely SO EMBARASSED (but nearly 100k of you didn't notice it either SO YOU CAN'T JUDGE ME!!!!) also i'll take this opportunity to thank you all for the support on this video! No video of mine has ever been viewed this much in such a short amount of time, so thank you all so much
holy moly, by the quality of this video i expected someone the size of lets game it out. keep up the good work, you definitely more than earned my sub! xD
When it comes to working with fluids, I've found that when placing the pipes from the source to the end point, you get the least issues. For example, if you connect a floor hole to a machine before connecting the source to the floorhole, it tends to jam, whereas when connecting the floorhole to the machine last, it typically just works.
How someone like you has such a low subscription count is a mystery to me. You definitely deserve more! You have a very fun and exciting way of explaining things. The reshuffling of your alternate recipes was definitely a comedic highligt ;)
"Over the Top" because this is over the top for a first playthrough. Seriously, I've had to abandon my save files and restart multiple times because there was always some kind of problem
Great vid man! the bit with the reshuffling had me 🤣🤣 Going crazy, not getting the wire AND more inventory together, then finally together, but as either choice...
@Br4dl89 also you had the easy solution already by just reloading the autosave one , ( I don't know you might have tried ofscreen ) Autosave saved me so many times.
For those power towers (I am still early in the video) I would try to first pipe the gas up and then storing it in buffers before funneling it down. This way you also don't need pumps thus also saving a tiny bit of power and it might work
Yeah, that would be more akin to how it is done in real life. Especially with water, first you pump it to a point above everything else and then you let gravity take care of the distribution
This is definitely one of those gems that land on my homepage every once in a while. I havent been that interested in Satisfactory before, but seeing what is possible in less than a thousand hours... might give it a shot. Really great video!
I‘m currently on my first playthrough as well. I‘m trying to finish asap since I want a clean new start. I did so many things that were not exactly mistakes, but hit me hard in the lategame. It‘d be so much work to fix it all, so I want to start new with my learnings. regarding the video: 5.5k views is waaaayy too few. It deserves more. your storytelling is great
I like your style of architechture a lot ngl side note: to prevent Z-fighting you can right click every object in the game on the interactive map. After that select 'Update Position'. This will open a window where all the entity information can be changed. Now finally change the Value, which causes the texture fighting (in your example it's the Z value) by just the smallest amount possible. After all of that just download the new file and put it into your game folder. If you had the gae running already just load the new file and you're good to go. If that's not the case though just start the game and select the new file (which will have the suffix '_CALCULATOR') and load it from the starting screen.
Definetly worth the time bluiding all that, it LOOKS AMAZING. Pak Utility Mod is perfect for flight and other "cheat stuff". but you dont have to use them and SkyUi is the other mod. Other youtuber use them as well. You will be fine. Keep up the hard work!!
S.S. Watt Battery S.S. Ohm My God S.S. Current Volt S.S. Amp Air S.S. Electric Charge Just a few names I thought of while watching this creative build! Thanks for the inspiration and keep on building pioneer!
love what your doing. It inspires me to try something similar in my current playthrough, which is modded after finishing a vanilla all achievements completed playthrough just after 1.0 dropped. as for mods sheck out SkyUI for time of day control Hover Pack ultimate for flight and for a little fun !!! Rideable Drones
This build is amazing:) Worth noting one of the features added in 1.0, drones can now be fueled by pretty much any fuel, and their speeds change depending on fuel type! So you might want to upgrade away from batteries at some point in the future, for both throughput and resource usage reasons
true! odds are i'll stick with batteries, but in the future if i need more drones than these 780 batteries can handle, then i'll start using ionized or rocket fuel for those :D
52:38 when it comes to drones and batteries, here’s the deal. When you build a drone on a port, that port is the “home” of the drone. It will pick up power (batteries, fuel, or fuel rods) at home and do a round trip to the destination and back. So, if you have one drone going home port (HP) to destination port (DP), you only need fuel delivered to HP. If you put a second drone on DP heading for HP, then you should have fuel feeding into both ports. Hope this helps
To solve the fluid glitch or problem delete all pipes that aren't taking fluid to the top and rebuild from the bottom up. Only delete the pipes leave the pumps and everything in between don't disconnect the power. I had 5 pipes going a long ways up on my map and after I was done doing everything the exact same two of them work perfectly and three of them then did not, it took me an hour to figure out how to fix it.
Idk if you already have the mods you are looking for, but here's the ones that match what you're looking for PakUtilities - allows you to fly SkyUI - Allows you to customize the sky layout
My god that looks awesome. Great job. i was wondering if you got the idea for chains from my video. thanks for the credit was very kind of you. Keep up the good work.
What an insane build, but at the same time, I dread my own ambitions. I have 3 final factories to do: Full, 100% Bauxite usage Factory (Nearing completion), Nuclear (2 normal, 1 impure, so 1500 Uranium), and then a massive Rocket Fuel drone port which will facilitate a giant, final, air ship that will hover over the Red Forest with a bridge that connects to the Aluminum factory. The goal is to drone in every Ingot I could need to finish the game (finally), and I'm just shy of 400 hours for a fully-fresh 1.0 release game. I hit burnout recently though, and I'm probably going to pick it up again at 1.1 release. But I love those chains, and those power towers are so damn cool looking.
Laughed hard multiple times, and the result is outstanding. I've smashed the subscribe button like never. Do whatever you please with mods IMO. The vanilla stuff has its interest but given how you're editing it I'm sure it'll be awesome modded too. Just beware of the Ficsit Networks rabbit hole I'm digging in for the last 50h of playthrough And if you were only wondering for always day mod, I was curious to see how your build looks in the night. Some outside lights could be nice
Love this ultra unique build! ❤❤ I think it will trend! I do have an idea to accomplish a detail you expressed frustration with. For the front of the ship, you can make a hemisphere using beams and small pillars. Makergaming has some short vids showing this. Then, using that method, you can shape the rest into place. I will admit that I have not tried this exactly, but I have made some great tears, spheres and parabola like surfaces. Just in case you REALLY want it perfect... Say, another 80 hours, rough guess. Would make a very unique video, just like this one is! I may be borrowing (flat out stealing) this for my private use. I don't create content.
Maybe 300 comments about this but: for your fuel generators: your need to connect them to power manually and individually and wait for the next row to be filled up and stable before connecting the next one, repeat and take a sip of your favorite drink, have a nice video running aside and voilà if your maths are okay this technic fixes most issues
My first power tower I actually miscalculated hard and almost build two levels more than could be supplied. And balancing it was a whole other ordeal. My problem were too many refineries feeding into too few pipes even if the pipe capacity should've sufficed. Some refineries further down the line then couldn't feed into the pipe because the refineries before them keep filling up every space in the pipe. After rebalancing everything, building a second pipe so the refinery output has more flow capacity and doesn't have to travel that far and slowly filling up the tower I got it to work reliably. Buffers on top of the tower can help as well
If you're wanting super vibrant (plastic like vibrant) colors, you can manually type up to + and - 10, in the color customizer This includes white and black, ofc
Awsome shit love the style of the vedio high quality shit need more viewrs than you have my guy idg how your not more popular but if you put out more stuff like this n dont get burnt out youll be doin amazing in no time
As far as fluids go, while I'm no McGalleon the general rules are Keep it short, keep it simple, fluids flow down, valves and buffers cause more trouble than they're worth in 99% of situations and yeah, have anti slosh loops. The default way to feed machines it to make the sloshback pipe that drops down on both sides to a feed pipe that are level or below the feed pipe. Don't forget headlift, which might be the main problem of the opening tower (The snap point the game suggests when placing them in series is a touch high)
Use a perma day mod if you want. The night is really annoying, especially with the new lumen engine. However, the game looks so cool when it's properly lit up during the night, so definitely keep that in mind as well. Can't wait to see what you make next in this "first playthrough"
QOL mods are honestly a must in sandbox games for me personally. Specially if said QOL mods are on the vein of "you COULD spend 300+ hours of your playtime building an ugly scaffolding to take a single screenshot... OOOOR you could just levitate :D" I have to mention LGIO here because how else could builds like those be showcased? I say: if your build is that big, at that point levitation isn't an option so much as a requirement.
totally agree, i'm still gonna avoid flying when i'm actually playing, but it saves a tonne of time and makes the footage better when i can just fly for cinematics
Thanks! The dimensional depot is a gamechanger for inventory management, but i did have to refill it with the more advanced items that i'm not already uploading automatically a few times throughout the build
Beautiful build, name it whatever You see fit, it's your ship captain. Here's some mods that I think should be in the game, without feeling like you're cheating, (infinit zoop, infinit nudge, skyUi, Daisychain, Refined Power, road tool)
It was worth, IMO, starting fully over for 1.0. The level of snark for ADA was definitely turned up to "11" and most of her color commentary only delivers once, and usually comes in waves coinciding with the phases and milestones. That and all the new toys makes starting from scratch make more sense. For instance, I used to build megalithic storage (ok, I still do because it's cool) but with Depots you really can cut most of that out for building purposes, and just insert a Depot in your line somewhere with an overflow splitter...or many more if you need throughput like concrete and steel...or later the items for mk6 belts. The floating factory reminds me of a Koopa ship.
@Br4dl89 true true. Also, if you are going vertical with fuel gens, rocket fuel and ionized rocket fuel are both gaseous and do not have lift requirements. They work at any height. They are also far more efficient and still easy to set up once you've done blended fuel to rocket fuel. You could double or triple your fuel farm, just with that.
Imkibitz found a way to make shorter conveyor lifts! You can look through his videos to find the one he shows it off or get in contact with him for a tutorial!!!! Edit: thats what kibitz looked like might be the same method?.
as a non professional spam saver if you get 1 blueprint you need quick save or just save the rest for spamming till you get the other one. and since you got lucky the first time you also might want to consider to save more often so you don't have to do it and take time trying to get back what you accidently messed up.
Unlimited Flight : use Pak Utilities Perma Day : Use Skey UI Also look up Infinite Zoop amd Infinite Nudge mods to help with building will help All Are avalible in the SMM
definitely gonna look into the infinite zoop and nudge! i thought people would consider them too cheaty but a lot of people have recommended them so i'm definitely interested :)
Drones have a long take off and landing, I think its almost 2 minutes total. They also take fuel for a round trip, so no need for supplying 'outposts' with fuel
35:34 @Br4dl89 Instead of Splitters, you can place conveyor holes a few increments toward the inputs/ouput ports. Some machines let you shove the conveyor elevator flushed inside the port.
@Br4dl89 Agreed. Personally, I don't consider it worth the effort to squish things super close like that; it requires the machine be placed on a foundation first before placing the conveyor port from below. Sometimes, blueprints using it bugs visually, facing the wrong direction, even if it still delivers the items to the correct port. (Probably has something to do with having 0 distance to judge direction) Usually, I do 2 increments further to get the chamfer look of the conveyor elevator.
Damn I need those chains in my world. And yes do download skyUI is the name of the mod I believe. And freecam of course. Cool thing about the skyUI is that you can also choose which time of day it is which can help with the desired mood of the current situation. Please download them because I believe it can only help with the viewer experience. No one cares about strictly vanilla gameplay
I encountered the same issue with my pipeline for me It was just the game glitching out and somehow water got into the pipe so I'm not only had to flush the system, but then add a backup line for fuel and then a fuel tower to ensure proper feed, lastly at the bottom of the tower was another reservoir to ensure a balance. They were both feeding in a loop one goes up one goes down to ensure equilibrium lastly I separated the lines with both Mark one and Mark two's branching off where they need to be to ensure proper feed instead of over feeding (main line was 600. Any generators or refinery was reduced back down to a mark one)
There already is a fly all the time mod built into the game. Might be in creator mode though. But there is also a mod for that and one that controls the time of day. Infinite Zoop is the best mod ever.
The pipe not filling no matter what you do is an issue I currently have as well. I've tried rebuilding, changing Mk2 to Mk1 pumps (just to try something different), connecting other pipe system; and all results in the pipes not filling up. I think it's a game issue; needs a patch.
yeah i've heard fluids tend to have some issues, but really i think my issues are caused by trying to make a my fuel plant vertical, past me did not think that through
i should definitely have blueprints for a hypertube cannon but i actually just build them manually every time- i don't really have any valuable blueprints, just some super inefficient ones for your basic resources like concrete, iron, and copper items
I would say that your error with the Fluids are that you aren’t using enough pumps. Fluids as long as I know can only flow for a specific height if they aren’t filling up. But the last time I played was update 4-6. So maybe it changed.
that definitely could be it, i'm honestly not convinced its really possible with the generator layout i have currently so i'm thinking about switching to rocket fuel, since that's a gas and might be easier
I definitely know that every fluid behaves the same. The only difference would be that it would make more Power. So just look how far up pumps can pump fluids upwards and then use the amount of pumps that you need

@Br4dl89 What you could do is have perma day on while grinding, but briefly turn it off to record shots for videos. I think Kibitz does it like that.
Pro tip for the staggered splitters. Place the lowest one, act like you’re going to make one on top, then nudge it 4 spaces and build
thats a MUCH easier way of doing things lol that would've saved me so much time

This ship is beautiful, its efficient and ecstatic
@groguthesavage4143 thankyou!
Try adding on to the end of the pipes so that they flow down a few levels into fluid storage tanks? Grasping here :)
QOL mods are honestly a must in sandbox games for me personally.
Specially if said QOL mods are on the vein of "you COULD spend 300+ hours of your playtime building an ugly scaffolding to take a single screenshot... OOOOR you could just levitate :D"
I have to mention LGIO here because how else could builds like those be showcased?
I say: if your build is that big, at that point levitation isn't an option so much as a requirement.
totally agree, i'm still gonna avoid flying when i'm actually playing, but it saves a tonne of time and makes the footage better when i can just fly for cinematics
Flying Battery Fortress
As for mods, I just subscribed, but both mods Utility Pak (flying) and Permaday equal (don't remember the name) are amazing.
This was cool, well done.
thanks!
Love the build! How are you keeping your inventory so empty for most of this playthrough though? I have the opposite problem lol
Thanks! The dimensional depot is a gamechanger for inventory management, but i did have to refill it with the more advanced items that i'm not already uploading automatically a few times throughout the build
Beautiful build, name it whatever You see fit, it's your ship captain. Here's some mods that I think should be in the game, without feeling like you're cheating, (infinit zoop, infinit nudge, skyUi, Daisychain, Refined Power, road tool)
i'd rather avoid those last 3 but i'm definitely interested in the infinite zoop & nudge, but i've still gotta take a proper look at them :)
There are settings you can change in Satisfactory itself that lets you turn on flying I believe - not used it myself.
Saves using mods.
The floating factory reminds me of a Koopa ship.
i'm sure the ADA lines are great, but theres so much i still havent tried even once in the game that i didnt want to restart :)
This is just a known thing that has existed for a long time. Kibitz did not “discover” it.
yeah i'm not sure who discovererd it, i only found it through Moo though
@@kleinebroodrooster thanks for letting me know wonder who did tho.
as a non professional spam saver if you get 1 blueprint you need quick save or just save the rest for spamming till you get the other one. and since you got lucky the first time you also might want to consider to save more often so you don't have to do it and take time trying to get back what you accidently messed up.
i definitely should have lol, i just didn't think to in the moment
Regarding fluids; always build so the fluids go top down best with a buffer tank up top
how do you balance YT AND UNI ??????
not very well LOL, but thankfully i graduated late last year so i don't have to!
Unlimited Flight : use Pak Utilities
Perma Day : Use Skey UI
Also look up Infinite Zoop amd Infinite Nudge mods to help with building will help
All Are avalible in the SMM
definitely gonna look into the infinite zoop and nudge! i thought people would consider them too cheaty but a lot of people have recommended them so i'm definitely interested :)
this is insanely good
thanks!
Drones have a long take off and landing, I think its almost 2 minutes total.
They also take fuel for a round trip, so no need for supplying 'outposts' with fuel
I've had some mixed responses on whether i have to supply both with batteries so i think i'll have to test it myself, but thanks for the input!
The boat is really kool.
thanks!
Why does everyone use batteries for drones rocket fuel seems fine to me running 32 drone ports no problem
before 1.0 they were the only option so it might just be habit for other people

@Br4dl89
Instead of Splitters, you can place conveyor holes a few increments toward the inputs/ouput ports.
Some machines let you shove the conveyor elevator flushed inside the port.
definitely could be useful in some places, but i'd rather avoid squishing things super close together
@Br4dl89 Agreed.
Personally, I don't consider it worth the effort to squish things super close like that;
it requires the machine be placed on a foundation first before placing the conveyor port from below.
Sometimes, blueprints using it bugs visually, facing the wrong direction,
even if it still delivers the items to the correct port.
(Probably has something to do with having 0 distance to judge direction)
Usually, I do 2 increments further to get the chamfer look of the conveyor elevator.
Thumbnail looks cool!
thanks!
Damn I need those chains in my world. And yes do download skyUI is the name of the mod I believe. And freecam of course. Cool thing about the skyUI is that you can also choose which time of day it is which can help with the desired mood of the current situation. Please download them because I believe it can only help with the viewer experience. No one cares about strictly vanilla gameplay
agreed! from the comments so far nobody seems to care about light modding so i'll likely be using SkyUI next time!
does anyone know how to do the math to underclock/overclock everything equally??
i do, but i have no idea how to explain it lol
You could use one of the Somersloop Generators as the Engine that Powers the Ship
the somersloop generator is definitely too big to actually fit, but i really like this idea for the lore
Any generators or refinery was reduced back down to a mark one)
fluids are so confusing honestly, but i do have some ideas for how i might fix it now
THAT LOOKS :O OMG
@Bob1324 thankyou! :D
When save scumming for multiple alternate recipes, if you get one early on you should save.
How does this only have ~500 views after 17h wtf
LETS GOOOO FINALLY A VIDEO!
YEAAHHHHH
There already is a fly all the time mod built into the game. Might be in creator mode though. But there is also a mod for that and one that controls the time of day. Infinite Zoop is the best mod ever.
so many people have recommended infinite zoop, i thought it would be too cheaty but i might have to give it a go
The pipe not filling no matter what you do is an issue I currently have as well. I've tried rebuilding, changing Mk2 to Mk1 pumps (just to try something different), connecting other pipe system; and all results in the pipes not filling up. I think it's a game issue; needs a patch.
yeah i've heard fluids tend to have some issues, but really i think my issues are caused by trying to make a my fuel plant vertical, past me did not think that through
Can you share your various blueprints? I’d love your yeet cannon, amongst others shown here
i should definitely have blueprints for a hypertube cannon but i actually just build them manually every time- i don't really have any valuable blueprints, just some super inefficient ones for your basic resources like concrete, iron, and copper items
