The last 17 days were exhausting both for us AND for our van! In this episode we attempt to get our van back in order before making some major upgrades, and we give you a tour of Rick & Bec's van so you can see how a family of four comfortably lives in a sprinter van!

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the #travel bug! We started “travel hacking” & finally decided we wanted to travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016. We started this #travelvlog to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling! After achieving our new goal of 100 countries before 2020 and all 7 continents, we have no plans to slow down anytime soon, and we are incredibly thankful to do something we love every day. :)

Let me be clear: I love the long vlogs, but honestly...I'm homeschooling 5 kids these days, and still working from home, so I rarely find an hour+ to sit down and watch it all at once, so I'm probably happier with more frequent, shorter vlogs. Kara - you do a great job with BOTH! :) Thanks for keeping us all on the road with you in this chaotic time.

I started watching y'alls videos prob a year or so ago. I was hooked from the first one and have binged watched to catch up and now watch as they are released. The best thing about the two of you is the fact that y'all are as real and down to earth as can be. I think I can speak for everyone that you are like next door neighbor quality and that's is why I love y'all so much. You both seem to be so nice and friendly, the type that are so very easy to talk to. I know we can't hug at the moment but I hope maybe one day to meet you and give you both a good ole southern bear hug and say how you both rock!!! The bike trip was amazing and the footage awesome! But like all good things, it comes to an end and you have to clean up and reorganize. I think it is smart that you do your upgrades, to the van, as you need too. That way you are always improving the trip. Looking forward to to next part of the adventure.

My family has always loved Colorado and the Rockies! There is no better place on the face of the earth. My daughter passed away last week from the ravages of Covid. She has always told her husband and children that if anything ever happened to her she wanted her ashes spread in the beautiful “hills” of Colorado as was her father!
Sorry to insert a downer but the place holds a special place in our hearts, going forward that will just now double. ☹️
