I for one haven't seen a better made guide on youtube. The step by step instructions for this complicated undertaking without doubling back even once speaks volumes of the planning and preparation you put into this video. And I haven't even started on the visuals. Please do more stuff, like gold making for the casual player, or PvP for the casual player et so forth. Take like and sub.

you've been a life saviour
After HoT was rebalanced, I actually found that it didn't take me too long to farm the HoT ascended mats. I wanted full viper's armor (6 pieces) + 3 weapons (2 one-handed, 1 two-handed) -> 600 Fulgerite made from the ascended mats. I also needed some more gold along the way anyways, so I decided to farm it out. Some tips: For VB and TD look to join the map around 20-30 mins before the Meta/Nighttime. If you are lucky you find a map with completed outposts, which means lots of caches/cargos. This way I was able to get all the 600 ascended mats with 6 map clears each (meaning I went around the map randomly and opened stuff, then just did the meta for fun. After two or three runs youll know where you should look for caches/cargo). The flying cargo doesnt seem to give ascended mats, though. For AB just do Multiloot. If you want the mats fast, just open ALL the chests, since they all can drop the ascended mats. I got all 600 auric dust in just 3 Multiloots this way.
Damn, youre editing skills are off the chart! My only problem is that I wished you would boost or master your voice a bit to make it clearer, and also lower the volume of the effects (like here 6:33 ). Other than that good guide

Spent 250g to get tailoring and artificing to 500 and crafted an ascended staff. I cried internally :( oh well, it will only cost 60g to craft an ascended item from now on.

@@JackJack-uq9qt also was 2 years ago, prices couldve been higher, but yeah i maxed leather, weapon, and cooking all for around +-80g

Does the GW2 efficiency website track what steps in crafting have been done? I am planning to craft ascended Harriers gear for my heal druid and I'm hoping that the website will keep track of steps done and steps still to do? tell me if the website will show me steps done or not

Great video, cleared up the misconceptions I had. I didn't know if converting stats actually changed the bow to "yassith" and such, I assume the same goes for armor?

+Salvatore-85 Hi, it should be EXACLY the same process, just swap inscription for insignia and obviously crafting profession changes to an armor crafting profession. Everything else is the same process

Few things have changed like crossing divisions are not gems any more but yes, it can still be followed

Man... I only have 5 gold. how the hell am I suppose to get that much gold to craft this? It's overwhelming and makes me not want to play anymore.
+Captain Now keep in mind ascended armor / weapons are long term goals! It should keep you going for something, if everything was quick you'd get bored of the game fast.
You will start getting a lot of gold from higher-level maps like Silverwastes or Auric Basin if you do the event chains (the "metas"). This way you'll be able to amass sufficient gold for these things :P
Farm items and materials, do events and get the weapons then sell them on trade market, you make like 30s from each item but you amass them pretty fast or as I said go and farm materials, because ascended crafting needs all the ores go and farm the ores, if you got 2-3 alts you can rotate pretty much indefinitely farming ores and trees and that'll get you gold pretty fast, then use that gold to buy the shit you need. On a good day you can easily farm like 15g
If you can do tier4 fractals, you can easily reach full ascended.
If you can get all pvp boxes, that's also several ascended pieces.
If you can get all wvw boxes, you can also get ascended pieces there.
You can do meta trains - hot map and/or pof map and/or silverwastes - I personally just hop depending on what's populated or feel like doing. === you then sell what you don't need and keep the ones you do and craft.
Dailies also get you 2 gold ez.
Pick a gameplay you enjoy. All of these will net you an ascended piece.
The true long term goal are legendaries. I only have one, pvp backpiece, and it took me 3 pvp seasons because I can only play 2 classes effectively and the achievements require you to progress on 3. haha.
There's so many things to do, but you don't have to do all of them. Pick the game mode you like and go with it.

Dont get this game crafting isnt suppose to cost money its suppose to be an easy way to gear instead of buying gear. Havent gotten to crafting yet but i rather rely on dungeon drops than this, would take me a month to get 100g
Rise Buddy lol ... u must play 5 min a week then. I make 7-8g in 1hour by doing tarir then 7-8g by doing daily fractals and there still are a lot of other ways to get gold quickly.
Rise Buddy and dungeon tokens are for exotic stuff not ascended
farm 10g in an hour, lol.

Okay. Too complicated, seems like DLC is required. I will be sticking with dungeon exotics :(. Still not sure how many $ I'm going to invest into this virginity protector. I guess my future wife would not like me spending money on this and to me it seems like annoying busywork anyways, so no DLC for me.
