    You can have all profesions/crafting types on one character, you just pay to switch between them, higher level more silvers :) you dont loose any progress when switching profesion.

    • @noelic6744
      @noelic6744 4 года назад +6

      That's great. I really wanted all of those professions and don't have the money to buy so many characters or discipline upgrade thingies. How much does it cost to change professions on highest level?

    • @Kantharr
      @Kantharr 3 года назад +3

      @@noelic6744 At max crafting profession level it costs 50s to switch. I think it's better to buy the additional crafting license in the gemstore once (maybe twice if you want to have 4 on one character). That way you could switch to 3 different characters that have different max crafting professions.

    I noped out of crafting in 2012 and I've still not gotten into it since it seems to require mountains of mats, time and gold with the game being so easy to level in that crafting wasn't much needed at all. The prospect of levelling a character entirely through crafting stuff has some appeal, especially since I've massed mountain of mats from lots of playing and have nothing to do with them except sell them all for a few golds on the TP. Guess the real purpose is all those endgame legendries that you absolutely need crafting to make and to give you a long term project to work on.

    you know.... I have been playing Guild wars 2 ( Xxjtchdxx - main Character ) for about 4 years, and I have yet to know all these mechanics.... mind you, I have been playing off and on. I have been playing WoW PS lately, and surprisingly, I got hooked into it,. I also tried WoW Retail, but for reason It did not appeal to me the same way WOTLK did ( that's the PS I am currently playing. ) But coming back to GW 2 this year, I have been getting back to it. I was finally able to get to lvl 42 on my main, and proceed the main story as a guardian... but holy hell..... I am currently trying to lvl up to perhaps.... lvl 50, to then go back and comeplete that story, cause I can't do shenanigans as I am right now. Part of the reason why is because I do not know all of these nifty tips and tricks....
    sure their are content on YT, but they are not as " simple " yet informative as Muk's videos, and I am glad to be able to learn more and enjoy game as intended. :)

      Since you can access professions on other characters easily and transfer items with the bank, it isn't a huge deal what profession you have on which character. Early on I'd recommend your "armor profession" such as tailor if you are light armor, and maybe a weapon profession you are interested in, such as artificing for staff. In time you would get all the professions on your toons so you can access anything you want or need.

    And I even leveled my leatherworking up on my ranger today as well... Without any problems, so now its time to work out where to get my ascended healing gear recipes...

      after 425+ I believe you can start the achievement wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Gourmet_Training
      The Sylvari cooking portion of it gives you the garden.

    One question that will earn you a sub if it's correct.
    Do you actually own a pair of real mukluks.

    • @MuklukYoutube
      @MuklukYoutube  5 лет назад +2

      I mean, I think "real" mukluks are made from seals or something, so no I do not lol. When I first came up with the name (year 2000 I believe) I thought I was making up a word, found it later it was a shoe

    I don't understand the crafting guides, I always hit the next level range way before I've crafted everything it tells me to, without boosters.

    Can i make money with crafting ? I just got 54 gold and i am in a decision of rushing weaponsmithing/tailoring or getting the jackal, i need both to get the warpblade that is my next "big project"

    • @MuklukYoutube
      @MuklukYoutube  5 лет назад +3

      Yes, but I will admit I'm not an expert on that. I know a few tricks, for example making reinforced boreal weapons then selling them can get quite a bit of cash, about 9-10 gold per weapon, they require eitrite which is from bjora marches.

    gw2craft normla armorsmith is sooooo outdated and bugged, had to buy extra and i had left over, it was such a pain

    • @student76543
      @student76543 3 года назад

      Uhm no. It's neither outdated nor bugged, but there are two important things:
      The big one: Do NOT bookmark, refresh or reload one of the guides. It will change the road to 400. (It even says so on the page) and will use different recipes and materials. If you keep the site open and get the entire initial materials list, you will NEVER have to buy extra.
      The minor one: The site does not factor in crit XP gain, so you will often reach the next level barrier before you crafted all the things on the list. You can remedy that by buying materials slowly to make sure you don't have excess stuff or you deal with it. It's just a gold or three, but if you want to, you can save it.

    I probably missed it, but want to notice that crafting gives huge amount of xp, if you start leveling craft at level 5 you gonna be 80 before you max out your crafting.

    • @MuklukYoutube
      @MuklukYoutube  5 лет назад

      I actually didn't know that! I've done most of my crafting on max level characters so I had no idea :o

      @@MuklukRUclips You get xp for about 7 levels per profession. When the game came out you could litterally level to 80 with it but many years ago this was changed.

    • @HavocRant
      @HavocRant 5 лет назад

      If they haven't changed it, it should be 10 levels if you go to max (1-500 or 1-400 for jeweler) getting up to 400 on the other professions gives about 7 levels I believe. When cooking maxed at 400, people used to use it as a cheap way to get 10 levels quickly

    This is why I fell in love with crafting in Elder Scrolls Online but have had zero interest in Guild Wars 2. The crafting here is so un-intuitive and unrewarding in the long run where as in ESO, you can put so much work in and be richly rewarded for it.

      2: Genuinely surprised to hear you say it was too fast. After 151,000 views I think you are the first to say that.
