As promised, these were all my crafting choices! Be sure to let me know what you're picking for what class!
Warrior first - Weaponsmithing and Armorsmithing
Then Thief with Jeweler and Tailor
Guardian with Artificer and Huntsman
Ranger with Leatherworker and Chef (Which was the last one I ever maxed out aside from scribe)
and then I punted Scribe to my Rev!
Guardian - Armorsmith/Chef
Warrior - Weaponsmith
Ranger - Huntsman/Leatherworker
Thief - Jeweler
Elementalist - Artificer/Tailor
Revenant - Scribe
Other than this, my only advice to crafting after 400 towards 500 is to rely on Backpacks for leveling since they always remain Orange(max xp gain).
Thank you very much!! Im 20 hours in and very overwhelmed with crafting, I feel like I actually understand some stuff now!! Quality video, thank you again
Really happy to hear it was helpful! Welcome to Guild Wars 2 and wish you the best of luck on your journey!
Loved the video, pretty high production value.
Subbed!
Thanks for the kind words, glad you enjoyed and thanks for the sub!
Thanks a lot! Very concise explanation
Nice guide! Though it has mysteriously left me with a craving for mayo.
My apologies, I really shouldn't have filmed it in front of one of SOTO's new Mayo Sprites. But I'm glad you enjoyed it regardless!
Nice alliteration 2:22
Know what you mean about Chef 500 being painful to get without a guide. I had the wiki open on my other screen and it still took hours. But I got Cilantro Lime Sous-Vide Steaks for my Power Reaper whenever I can be bothered crafting the compost.
Yeah crafting can definitely be a "Put on a movie and chill" kind of gaming day, especially Chef. Or if you're just slamming all of them out, lol
I have 300 hours in the game and i havent craftet a single thing haha
sweet, thanks!
You're welcome! Glad it was helpful!
Make a video about 500 weapon smithing legendary weapons
Very much a GW2 noob. My chef's level is at 75 and won't advance. You mentioned trainers. Is there a trainer I need to go to to advance to the next level? Sub'd!
Sorry for the late reply, crazy holidays!
They should automatically be tiering up (EG Showing 75/150) as soon as you get to 75. The only possible thing I could think of is that you haven't noticed the recipes you're crafting are now Grey, which won't give you experience. There shouldn't be any sort of crafting level limitation that I'm aware of. Try discovering some new recipes that require level 75 using the tab, or making sure to craft a recipe with Orange color on it on the list. If you're still not gaining experience at that point, I would reach out to support. I tried googling around and I can find nothing on any sort of level limitation, even for a F2P Account.
Good video, one questionnaires tho. Why are research notes important?
Research notes are used for various high end crafting processes for End of Dragons and Secrets of the Obscure. For example, the new legendary Obsidian Armor.
why i cant click my crafting tab
If you have no professions learned on that character, you can't click it. You'll have to visit a trainer and learn one first
Oh no, I can't be a supreme crafter and max out all the possible specs? So, I need to use alts? Meh
Crafting is too expensive for new players 😢
It can definitely be expensive! If you're trying to save money especially if you're very new and/or don't have any expansions, a great thing to do is level up and do world exploration on several characters and focus on gathering materials as much as you can!
You really need to separate a topic from one to another lol, professional yapper. This game is confusing as heck for beginners
Yeah I've definitely learned a lot about more effictively communicating ideas since this video, can always learn and do better. Thanks for taking the time to watch though!
@@syzxgamingx I apologize for this comment mate, i've since gotten a better understanding of the game and a great guild taught me alot. Your video is great, just a bit tough for starters to understand
