Hint: If you are running short of bank space, rather than buying bank expansions at 600 gems for 30 spaces, it may be more economical to buy an extra character to use as a "mule". It costs 800 gems rather than 600, but, if you equip your mule with four 15-slot bags (the most cost-effective bag size--about 1 gold per bag) you get 80 slots, which is 10gems/slot, rather than 20gems/slot for the bank expansion. Park your mule next to a bank. You will have to switch to your mule to transfer items to and from your bank, so this trick is best used to salt away items you aren't using, but don't want to throw out. The high quality kit costs (I think) 10 times the coin per salvage as the low quality one, so I don't use it on lower end items. I will say that I don't have any math to back up that that is the right thing to do, that is just the habit I have built.

Well I feel silly... all this time I thought that the Copper-Fed Salvage-o-Matic ran on copper ORE. I thought it was introduced to make is to that copper ore was still sought no matter how high in level people got and therefore, people that were just starting out could sell copper ore for a decent price in the AH.
I still don’t understand… which salvage kit do I use when salvaging common/uncommon/rare items? Should I always use master salvage kits? Should I use basic salvage kits? Does it depend on the item quality?
If i knew you can put shared slots with normal bags before... Or maybe they added that in past 2-3 years when i was only playing story? It Always bothered me that i have 15 but my prefered invertory width is 10
What you're doing at 10:15 is unnecessary. Just store your unidentified gear in invisible bags, and ALT-drag a chunk of them to your regular bags to ID and salvage. No need to swap in and out of your shared spaces.
At 6:43 you mention a 28-slot Siegemaster's Satchel or Pillager's Pack. This is not correct. The satchel is 20 slot, much to my disappointment. You got me all excited there. :)
Hmm you mention copper-fed salvage o matic looking at description says it uses 3 copper to use then i also see silver-fed salvage o matic but it doesn't even say that it uses silver when you salvage with it? is that just something they left off or doesn't it use silver when used? Its also cheaper then the copper one by 300 gems? Thanks in advance.
As the name suggests, the cost per use was originally 1 Silver coin. The update on November 4, 2014 lowered the cost to 60 Copper coin, bringing it closer to that of a Master's Salvage Kit.
@@MuklukRUclips Thanks and really that kinda sucks. I guess copper one is better deal then or? Sorry haven't played game in a long time so no idea on prices etc.
I can't for the life of me hold all the bloodstone dust shiit , especially not when i was a new player. And you barely need it if you're figuring out the world. That ascended stuff, dragonite, the blue shit and bloodstone dust. i just kinda toss now for a while.
How do you get your inventory to show 1 big bag like that instead of having it show what's in each bag? The standard UI makes it so you can collapse and expand each bag. But I prefer to have it show just 1 giant box like that.
I manage my inventory primarily by throwing away items that I later find I need or are of great value.

i know it's a little tricky but can help in beginning
Thanks for the vid, one question I have is why not use the high quality infinite salvage kit on greens and blues?
The high quality kit costs (I think) 10 times the coin per salvage as the low quality one, so I don't use it on lower end items. I will say that I don't have any math to back up that that is the right thing to do, that is just the habit I have built.
Did you talk about how Bjora Marches Boreal Weapons Collection, gives you a new 32 slot bag recipe that costs about 2/3 the price of the recipes shown in the video?
I forgot that one, good tip!
Could you elaborate on that? I can't find that on the achiev pannel? Ty dude!
@@Petetudo The Karma merchant at the start of the zone sells the Boreal skins, once you buy the skin, you buy the restored recipe in the next tab. Then you craft the restored weapons, and the restored weapons are used in the next release for even more weapons.
subscribes just because of the my hero reference

I saw the boost in your bank, i know you can pack them with talking to a pnj in the vaults in lion's arch
awesome video
Well I feel silly... all this time I thought that the Copper-Fed Salvage-o-Matic ran on copper ORE. I thought it was introduced to make is to that copper ore was still sought no matter how high in level people got and therefore, people that were just starting out could sell copper ore for a decent price in the AH.
You aren't the only one, I thought that for a very long time.
im happy i didnt make same misstake as u guys..haha
4:00 So satesfyinnnnnngggg!!!!!
Talk about Inventory Management and the Mailbox is full :P
Mailbox management video is that way ->
😂
Great vid \o/ and thank you
What about all those boosters we hoard, I mean eternally save for later?
I still don’t understand… which salvage kit do I use when salvaging common/uncommon/rare items? Should I always use master salvage kits? Should I use basic salvage kits? Does it depend on the item quality?
This may help, this is a guide I did on salvage kits: ruclips.net/video/u2-LeHtC4T4/видео.html
@@MuklukRUclips awesome man, thanks.
Sir, will you post 1080p videos?
I do now :) my more recent ones have been in 1080p, at the time I made this one I was unable to do so.
I believe I was saying "for twenty... slot bags..." but yeah, it doesn't sound clear. Apologies!
@@lorddread22 I have a video comparing the salvage kits you might be interested in: mukluklabs.com/gw2-new-players-guides/#salvage
@@MuklukRUclips awesome thanks if you could only get 1 which would it be i wonder :) of the 3 since there is a 3rd one.
I can't for the life of me hold all the bloodstone dust shiit , especially not when i was a new player.
And you barely need it if you're figuring out the world.
On top of you getting millions from literally every where.
Ive been told to thrash them or "just create this complex item for it" which i don't even think i can yet. So yeah.
That ascended stuff, dragonite, the blue shit and bloodstone dust. i just kinda toss now for a while.
Magic find no longer change the loot from the unid items opening, just the drop of the unid items itself
Add start a guild to get a guild bank for extra storage.
Thx for the quide
How do you get your inventory to show 1 big bag like that instead of having it show what's in each bag? The standard UI makes it so you can collapse and expand each bag. But I prefer to have it show just 1 giant box like that.
The option at 2:17
dont forget EACH character functions as a bank of storage if you are new and poor then make alts you may play one day and fill their bags
