Let me put it this way to everyone considering Legendary. Legendary items are not suppose to be rushed and farmed. It's a motivation and something to while you play the game. If you try to solely focus on legendary equipment the game becomes boring. Take it little by little and enjoy the other parts of the game. Just do one step at the time.
I got stuck in the loop of legendary making when I first started playing, 80 hours into the game I got dusk as a drop from path of fire, then saw the price on the tp and made some research why it’s so expensive. Decided to make twilight then with basically no materials etc… took me 6months to finish it and now 1 year later I’ve made 11 legendaries:) but you do have a great point! It’s not too late to do this even now:))
100%. I feel like GW2 is great for those who do a bunch of stuff on a somewhat regular basis. Over time, the little things build up and all that you're doing amount to rewards. So it's always raining.

You will finish it, you will make it, and you can accomplish it. Take your time, be patient, and simply complete each step until there are no more to complete.
i was super intimidated after i saw it but decided to raid for fun and learn it now i finished envoy 1 and starting two, hopefully will finish the armor in 2 months or so fingers crossed, 100% not something you should rush and plan to rush, honestly i really enjoy that its hard to get because once ill have it it will be more rewarding.

Mushroom emperor, its somewhat random or you can go to top left waypoint emperor area right after chak and there the even chain starts that leads to emperor so you dont waste time like I did

@@macoygunida Not exactly. There are two tiers to the collection, both of which award a full set of ascended armor. Only the second one is used in actually making the legendary, so you can do whatever you like with the former (including salvage it for the globs of dark energy needed to craft the legendary tier). What you select for the first collection reward has zero connection to what you get from the second.
I'd like to have those people at work, not in a game. Some people actually play video game for fun in case you notice, and there is no fun when some "dedicated people" start insulting you the moment you miss a skill. Even my boss didn't use that kind of language at his employees when they lost a few thousand dollars by mistake.

I have a question, are you technically only able to craft one type of legendary armor since you only get one precursor from the achievement reward? Or are you able to obtain them in a different way too? Like I'd like to craft the light one and the heavy one, can't decide which yet if I can only get one 🤔
with the second collection you also get recipes to craft the precursors sets, so you can get as many legendary sets as you want. Fyi, a precursor set needs another 150LI, so the next leg set (and all the others after that) is actually 300LI in total
chrono hasnt good dps? how so if usually im top dps at fractals? or at least almost equal to other dps classes? they buffed chronophantasm and reduced healing signed cd, wich makes you cast ur phantasms more often
Sinds the last balance update, necromancer got a good boost. But they're still not peak performance. As a result, playing a necromancer is fine, as long as you can do peak performance for the necros, and the party doesn't care too much about speedclearing
Seems silly to grind for legendary armor right now, since the expansion could be releasing this year. I'll stick with Ascended for now I guess, but that transforming armor is badass!
the opposite seems true to me. better to do legendary armor before all that new content comes out, so you dont have to go do old content after expansion drops

I cleaned wing 4 on monday, but got the heart yesterday, when i cleared w4 today again nothing poped up when i kneel also do you get the Rigom achievement when you kill Samarog? I didn't get anything when i stood next to him when he died either, weird.....
I'm not sure if you can bury hear before all other achievements from 2nd collection are done. At Rigom you have to stay in his explosion to get that. That happens only if Guldhem and Rigom stays close too long afaik.
Yep, I just finished the 2nd tier collection, you do need to stand quite close to Rigom when he explodes by taking transferred damage from Guldhem and you can bury the heart only when the previous collections are complete. Thanks for your help Tekkit!

Actually, the accent makes this otherwise great video very hard to understand and follow. Not saying this to be mean, just passing along my observation that I found this video very hard to use, because of your accent.
Happy to own all 4 sets. All three weight sets for raids and the medi set from wvw. So many hours. So much grinding. So many fails and funny moments. Counting each set as one legendary I now have 36 legendaries. (again that's counting the 4 armor sets as one. Not 24 pieces) this also includes the wvw, pvp and fractal back pieces and amulet.
You're crazy! :p Meanwhile I just crafted my first legendary item ever (light legendary chestpiece) and am struggling so much to buy materials for the rest ahahah
What are u talking about? You can only get this armor by raiding. The legendary WvW armor is a completely different one, which doesnt even remotely looks as epic as this one

Pugs are dumb, they see golem dps sheet and have no idea how usefull engi can be, just try to find some regular raidgroup with ppl who understand. My raidgroup uses 2 engis atm and last week we failed multiple times on Sloth because of too much dps :-D Condi viper is not the best choice for all bosses. On KC is for sure much better power engi and I found it much better also on other bosses since max dps on golem is one thing and real situation is something else
Sloth doesn't cleanse that often at least I don't see any significant impact on our DPS graphs with condi comp vs power. for KC is definitely better power (same from my experience for Xera and Sabetha for some reason(. but I was there condi few times with alt account what don't have zerk gear yet and condi isn't that bad either
What about the wvw leggys tekkit? I am a ranger so the raid armor for rangers looks the trashiest of all, like a a fucking son of svanir. Doesn't they function the same other than the 'skins'? And i would rather run in zergs and die than do raids with toxic people. Not that i care too much about it, i can always abuse them or blame them bad. But i am a power ranger and pugs don't usually take them, only top tier raid groups take them and i am nowhere near that level.

Why does legendary anything have to be so complicated to make? Not everyone has hours every day to grind and read to learn on wikis. Even during CV quarantine I have other things I need to do.
EDIT: *I got 4 out of the 6 pieces now :]* As someone who owns 7 legendary, legendary armor is in its own tier. What you see in this video is the exception, not the rule. Once you make your first non legendary armor item, you start to wonder why some parts of it is just a brain dead money check and u will notice how straight forward it is. Things aren't valuable to us if it isn't hard to get, right ?
You do knw that you dont really need legendary gears right ? You can access 100% of the game with no difficulty with just exotic gears. Like many ppl say, this game is for both casual, and hardcore players. If u want legendaries, then Im afraid youre gonna have to go hardcore type. If you want casual gaming, theres the storyline(which is well written by the way), map completion, fractals, dailies, map events, PvP, etc

You can craft all of them but 2nd and further will cost you 250 Legendary Insights instead of 150.

Power chrono is the highest dps benchmarked in sc, even though their numbers are sometimes misleading, its still somewhere near the top.
It's a little bit outdated as all the npcs were combined into one per map.

Counting each set as one legendary I now have 36 legendaries. (again that's counting the 4 armor sets as one. Not 24 pieces) this also includes the wvw, pvp and fractal back pieces and amulet.
Should note that this is over 3 accs. My main having 21.

WvW legendary armour, I believe it doesn't require expansion. Check gw2 wiki

The legendary WvW armor is a completely different one, which doesnt even remotely looks as epic as this one

@@12Burton24 hes clearly not showcasing the WvW armor nor the PvP armor which in fact is even more easy to get than WvW, they are all legendary, but your comment may be missleading. I just wanted to clarify that they are all different from one another :) and the one showcased here is in fact the most difficult and longterm to get, the PvE-Raid legendary armor.

ascended gear is easier but only 1 state u cant change it

You can change ascended stats in mystic forge for a small fee:-)

you play engi raids? I have all viper (full build for raids) but still nobody wants me... so stupid. i dont want to play warrior mesmer or ranger, if ive mastered 100% my engi
Pugs are dumb, they see golem dps sheet and have no idea how usefull engi can be, just try to find some regular raidgroup with ppl who understand. My raidgroup uses 2 engis atm and last week we failed multiple times on Sloth because of too much dps :-D Condi viper is not the best choice for all bosses. On KC is for sure much better power engi and I found it much better also on other bosses since max dps on golem is one thing and real situation is something else
That's ok, I have many sets for my engi, so it's not only Viper. I'll try find any good group ;)
Sloth doesn't cleanse that often at least I don't see any significant impact on our DPS graphs with condi comp vs power. for KC is definitely better power (same from my experience for Xera and Sabetha for some reason(. but I was there condi few times with alt account what don't have zerk gear yet and condi isn't that bad either
What about the wvw leggys tekkit? I am a ranger so the raid armor for rangers looks the trashiest of all, like a a fucking son of svanir. Doesn't they function the same other than the 'skins'? And i would rather run in zergs and die than do raids with toxic people. Not that i care too much about it, i can always abuse them or blame them bad. But i am a power ranger and pugs don't usually take them, only top tier raid groups take them and i am nowhere near that level.
Well I don't have them yet and they are quite ugly:-P

As someone who owns 7 legendary, legendary armor is in its own tier. What you see in this video is the exception, not the rule. Once you make your first non legendary armor item, you start to wonder why some parts of it is just a brain dead money check and u will notice how straight forward it is.

You don't have to make it, if you don't have the patience to craft it then use ascended gear, it's basically the same.
You do knw that you dont really need legendary gears right ? You can access 100% of the game with no difficulty with just exotic gears.
Like many ppl say, this game is for both casual, and hardcore players.
If u want legendaries, then Im afraid youre gonna have to go hardcore type. If you want casual gaming, theres the storyline(which is well written by the way), map completion, fractals, dailies, map events, PvP, etc

I didn’t understand anything of this tutorial. It’s too fast, there are too many shortcuts, it’s really confusing. It doesn’t give a good and clear overview of every step of the process for beginners at least.
