6300 miles on my 24 mt09SP. Fantastic bike! Quickshifter is so good you forget that it’s even there! Only complaints I have are: 1. second gear is garbage because of emission and 2. You don’t have a cancel button for the blinkers and you don’t know half the time if you pressed it short 3 blinks or long for endless blinks. Otherwise it’s nothing but good to say
Just got my 24 MT09SP to replace my 22 MT09SP( wit 14,000 miles on it). Absolutely more sport focused especially at higher corner speeds--more precise and on its nose. ( more like a street triple RS--my other bike in garage)..suspension more taut ,better control...brakes a huge step forward...Riding position more dedicated---a bit less comfortable compared to my 22. TFT ...much nicer..ditto for switchgear. S23 tires an improvement over s22's. I think it even looks better. Dislikes--keyless start...gimmicky and there is slight delay to boot up and notchy nob. Turn signal switches --nuisance! Right indicator is larger than left and just feels unnatural. 2nd gear flat spot under 6k is apparent. Seat looks generic ( although its comfy) compared to the 22 which had a premium looking stitching and seat cover. Overall, an incredible value, easy to ride quickly and super engaging ! Brilliant !
Hey, you're the perfect person to ask this since you have a street triple as well, do you miss a steering dampner on the new mt09? Cause that's the only thing this bike doesn't come with that all it's competitors come with and is it a major miss?
@@banestock good question 🙋♂️ actually the street triple doesn’t come with one either. That said neither bike feels like it’s missing one. I’ve done plenty of fast runs 130+ , hard acceleration over bumps and have not ever been spooked 😱.
@@rebellucy6200 okay new bike was 12299 + 575 Destination and $495 dealer setup/prep, registration/title/paperwork $175. I traded my 22 SP which I received $7k credit so that cut tax down to $550 apx
I upgraded from my gen 1 MT-07 to the new 2024 MT-09 SP just a month before the R9 reveal. It's a fantastic bike, though that CP3 engine sound pumping through the acoustic grills is a sensation, and the handling is so good.
The turn signals are not easy to use...no dedicated cancel function. You're stuck looking at the dash to see if the signal is on or not. It's dangerous.
ideal bike is keyless, automatic diesel, seat massage and a coffee maker and a fridge in summer. not asking al lot and a person at the fuel pump who fuels up the tank and takes the cash.
They listened to their customers on previous models and that is what is most important

@@dougalmanzar ah k.. The KTM and the monster both come with steering dampeners.. But glad to hear it's not an absolute must.

I love how Adam reviews and speaks about these bikes. Can tell there’s a real passion there.
Really? I got to 1:31 because I feel brain damage setting in listening to, Adam you say?

I'm with you on the keyless ignition. I would rather they put on backlit switches. I don't know how that isn't a feature on every bike made.
Keyless ignition and fuel tank is awesome. One less thing to worry about with gloves on. Just get on and go.
Great review. Is that hope county montana😮
Really considering one of these in 25… how is wind feeling at highway speeds?
8:20 - Hairy overtake? 🤣
Great review. 🇺🇸
agree

Iwish i can buy but so expensive 🥺🥺🥺🥺😭😭😭 i die before i can ride it
Z900 seems like a similar bike
MT-09 SP or MT-10 SP?
Mt09. Better value for money and you will almost be able to use close to its full potential on the street. And it looks better imo
Force and springrate, oh dear ...
I already hated this guy, and now he's smacking his lips before every sentence.
I was just going to say "am I alone to cringe at this commentary of the MT09?"
Just buy a 765 rs and be happy.

On an mt09? Just open the throttle in first and hang on lol
