A better test would been to eat in the restaurants! Carry out isn’t the same.
Exactly. Did they even check out the appearance of the restaurants?
TRH has the best steak when you get a good one, but that’s about 1 in 4, longhorn is good every day.
You have to be kidding! How can you judge a Caesar Salad without a Caesar dressing? It's just a plain old salad if you put Ranch dressing on it.
Not a fan of ranch dressing
Going to Texas Roadhouse for first time Sunday. Can't wait!
Go easy on the bread. Trust me. Its REALLY hard to not load up on the bread and butter. Its so goooooooood
Going on Friday man hope it’s good I’ll tell you
@@6th_scentgaming It will be. Everyone seems to love it.😍

I think both are good options for a more everyday steakhouse. They’re not prime steakhouses. But I like to enjoy a steak night out once a month. My choice became Roadhouse. As with my family. But I think I might do Longhorns to get a lobster tail added. But as others have said. It is very close but it comes down ones preference. Plain and simple. I like eating at Roadhouse for the atmosphere. Longhorns really tries to have an atmosphere more like a Prime steakhouse. But Roadhouse just feels comfortable.
It’s a matter of opinion, everybody has one. I personally prefer Longhorn Steakhouse. I get the outlaw ribeye, baked potato, and corn. it has never disappointed me yet and the price is good. To me, Longhorn Steakhouse has a better vibe. It’s quieter, which I prefer when I am having a nice meal.
Roadhouse home salad is much better than in any other restaurants that category, bread is also much tastier
My last visit to Longhorn, they gave me a Ribeye with no cap. The cap is the only reason I order a ribeye! I have not returned to Longhorn since.
I patronize both establishments. My 2¢. Longhorns only edge is the seasoning on the ribeye. Texas Roadhouse wins on doneness on steak, Caesar dressing, croutons and flavor of ribeye. Now if Texas Roadhouse would only have Coke Zero.
If they only had Mexican Coke
Got to have the Longhorn mushroom appetizer.
Take-out of good steaks is a solid "No, No." Many of the sides don't survive take-out either. Take-Out is very useful and appealing, but not for steaks!
Luckily, these are not good steaks
How much did Texas Roadhouse pay you?
I've eaten the Longhorn Ribeye and I've found it to be well seasoned and the proper consistency of doneness (Medium rare).
I agree that Longhorn has a better atmosphere than Texas Roadhouse (as I get older, I find my tolerance for children running around a restaurant lessening.). If there's a Texas Roadhouse in my area soon I will make the comparison on my own.
Longhorn used to be great until they stopped carrying prime rib. TX Roadhouse prime rib is excellent, but I should try the bone-in ribeye now.
Roadhouse uses MSG on all their steaks,Longhorn does not use MSG at all. Big for me since I can’t have it
Longhorn has never failed to satisfy!!!!
Fugly’s East Lyne Missouri has the best Ribeye at the time of my posting.
The longhorn ribeye is better and its not even close
We would dine at Texas Roadhouse more often if it wasn't so loud inside.
I experienced quite the opposite in how my ribeye were cooked. Asked for medium rare at both, got exactly perfect medium rare Outlaw ribeye at Longhorn. The Texas Roadhouse ribeye was medium, and not as juicy. Longhorn won me over
I agree Texas Roadhouse Ribeye’s are best hands down! Saltgrass’s isn’t bad but TEXAS RH’s is better!
Yum ! 😋
My favorite. Roadhouse.
Both these restaurants vary greatly from location to location. I've been to both over 100 times each, and in different states. Bone in Ribeye is my favorite cut of beef and I prefer LongHorn's version. I get extra, extra rare so that might be a factor. I do prefer Texas Roadhouse Large Sirloin (used to be called the "cowboy cut").
Most professional chef’s prefer the Texas Roadhouse B/I Ribeye! Retired!
My new idea texas roadhouse in pasco fla hwy 19
Our local Texas Roadhouse sux. Longhorn is much better in our area.
Does Texas Roadhouse have regular butter? I do not like their sweet cinnamon butter at all
I had the bone in ribeye at Texas roadhouse and I could not chew it enough. It would not break down. I felt like I could choke with each bite. Terrible!
We ❤ Texas Roadhouse..!!!!
We went to Texas RH. For my birthday dinner. We had never had a problem. I got the blooming onion, and the 14 Oz ribeye with shrimp and everything was so salty it burned my throught. My daughters as well. So next time we will go to Longhorn.
I was to peter luger in Brooklyn about a year ago.texas roadhouse was just as good if not better
Lugers was a big ripoff! Texas gives you everything meaning two side dishes for a third of the price!
We used to love Long Horn but the Tenderizer they use is horrible and made every cut of meat really salty. We no longer will go to Long Horn, just cheap meat tenderized to death.
Longhorn always better.
Texas road house has the best rib eye steak end of the story 😠
Neither of these restaurants is very good. If I want a great steak, I will head to Capital Grille
Went to longhorn and got the ribeye. It was the smallest ribeye ever. Also it was expensive.
If not worth mentioning then why did you ?
Really?!?! Crap vs Sh!t. They are both interchangeable! One can go to a butcher shop and purchase two 1 1/2 inch Ribeyes for the price of a Texas or LongHorn alleged Ribeye. Just say’n
I can't stand when you say it's better and cheaper at home
You're comparing apples and oranges. Everyone knows that.
Being retired, I just want to go and enjoy myself .when you start buying all the stuff that goes with it
For two people, the difference isn't all that much, plus you're being served.
Texas and Longhorn. Neither based in Texas. The U of Texas Wronghorns, based in Texas. Happy Feline Friday!
Neither one of these places is considered upscale dining at all, especially in the category of steakhouses. I wouldn't pay $30 for a meal at either one. Just order a burger, chicken, or pork chops and move on.
Pretentious
Both are awful
SO RACIST.
How?
???
