man i miss these kinds of posts. i watched your entire bootcamp series before i shipped to rtc and now im apart of the fleet and i get to watch another. this is definitely my favorite style of video from you but i know theresonly so much to talk about from great lakes. Keep up the amazing work!
They're just sending people there now. Needs of the Navy lol
My old RDC petty officer Russell @13:53 😂
Hey my son was in the submarine naval station.. But got ELS after completing sub school. He didn't want to be in submarine he wanted to transfer surfaces. They gave him RE 4 code.. Can he re-enlist
I like your video; very descriptive
I was capable of handling more stress than anything they can do in boot camp at the age of 12, what is this weak bull if you cant handle boot camp especially navy bootcamp you need to reevaluate your life choices
So I got a question about getting orders to RTC. I have about 3 more years on USS current ship, I'm about to take my 4th attempt for 2nd this september so who knows if I'll make it. I've looked at the requirements for C school and while I don't meet all of them yet like having a warfare pin I know I can meet all the requirements except for time in rate as a second class by the time I leave this command, how often would you see people get waivers to bypass the time in rate requirement and what usually caused someone to get a waiver? Is it like most people get it for asking or it's only sailors that have a few EP evals or something like that?
There's a waiver for everything
@natelionberger4440 oh ik. The RDC instructor requirements literally says that you van get a waiver for being a 2nd class less than 3 years before going to RDC duty. I was just wondering how easy it is to get said waiver
@FiveStarHobo I just did my screening and received my hard copies. Granted I'm a FCPO but I'm telling ya, if you are hard charging enough, hopefully you pick up this fall. You can do the screening before you're in your orders window then submit it to the RDC detailer. It's the CO recommendation on the screening that they will look at. All waivers processed by the RDC Detailer and I believe approved by RTC.
@@natelionberger4440 In that case I'll talk to my NC1 about it when I start picking orders
In the video they mentioned that a number of RDC C School students are forced to be there. What happens if a student intentionally bombs out? Do they get new orders, masted, or something else entirely?
Not sure but from what I've heard and some things I've read from my welcome aboard package you go before a review board and eventually will be redistributed as needs of the navy.
You goto deck department, chippin paint don't do it
You do not compare to a seal and they do not do that crap
What’s ur rate sir
Take off that Mask!
I simply wear it to create a barrier between the channel and work.
I hate to break this to you , but the navy doesn’t have drill instructors. The only branch that has drill instructors, is the United States Marine Corps. Do some research. And, this sh,t is soft as Charmin. USMC 1978-2000
Nice...trashing a fellow service. Sounds like my stepdad with the same tired jokes bashing me for choosing the AF. Wouldn't even accept a Navy themed gift from his own granddaughter.
@@itstrizzo my father was in the AF, I hate that MF.
@@itstrizzo So? Fellow service?Haaahaaahaa that’s a joke, right?
@@itstrizzodude probably can't accept the fact that the Marines are part of the Navy.
Cry us a river papa 😂😂
