If I ever get a vr4, I’m bringing it here. These guys know what they’re doing. I have a turbo eclipse that misfires, I believe it’s leaning out, but the car is bone stock except for intercooler piping only which I am not sure has an effect on the AFR since it’s only the pipes replaced with wider metal pipes.
My AEM Series 2 Arrived on Feb 9th so be ready Dezzi 👌🚀📉🏁. 91 Dodge Stealth Twin Turbo 3.6 Liter 6G74 Fully Built. Dynamic Racing Stage 3 Heads. 272/272 Regrind Camshafts. 3sx Adjustable Cam Gears. TD05 Manifold kit Brand New Non MHI TD05 16G Turbos internally gated. New Deatschwerks 1200CC Low Injectors AEM series 2 on E85.
Tbh the 6g72tt is a more engineered engine than the 4g63, the 4g63 just had safety margin in all the right places and "lucked" into being the better engine more or less. You can tell when disassembling the two that a lot of effort was put into making the 6g72 more light weight and optimized and to be fair, these engines weren't designed with the intention of people pushing 1000 hp through them. A good example of this is the 4g uses all the same size bolts for the camshaft caps while the 6g downsizes the inner cam cap bolts to save weight. Stuff like that is what leads to those engines lifting heads above about 800 hp, with the fix being adding stiffness back into the head so it doesn't flex under high combustion chamber pressure. TLDR: the 6g72 engineers were more aggressive and the 4g63 is better for what most of us want to do with it, which is make a bajillion hp with it.
Hey Des, On a brand new build it's recommend I break in the motor following a accel and decel procedure that takes about 2 hours and an oil change. Can this be done at your shop or do you do a base tune first and the driver breaks it in?

@@turbo_brian that was a much more thorough reply than I expected. I just can't get over the fact you have to remove to IM to change plugs.
You don't see these anymore

I had my motor rebuilt all new internals and installed no crank now, ran before, any suggestion's.
Did he have any boost control at all or just working off of wastegate spring pressure?
Yes he had one. Thank you for watching
Súper dope 🥶

Unknown upgrades
@ what boost levels
❤
Dyno in 3rd?
Yeah - the gears are so tall that 3rd is the closest 1:1. 4th-6th are basically overdrives.
Was this a vr-4??
Yes it is. Thank you for watching
