As an electrician, having untrained warehouse workers work on electrician work is massively dangerous. And no, an online training isn't enough. Depending on your location, you can do minor lighting upgrades and repairs in house. However, having untrained workers do the job is a huge liability and dangerous.

The problem with the narrator's opinion, as always, is that they paying rent equally that means there could be a law in place saying that he can't be kicked out unless her name is on whatever documentation saying that she owns the apartment or whatever and even then she has to legally give him 30 days to find a place. Not to mention the fact that both names can be on whatever documentation that they need to be on for them to say oh I live here and I pay for this here meaning she can't kick him out and if he doesn't want to move she's going to have to find either a compromise or she's going to have to leave herself. So all-in-all she can't just kick him out just like that. Also the guy is allowed to move on. Like bro we don't know the situation for all we know she did something to make him fall out of love with her and he broke up with it because he didn't want to deal with it. All in all, depending on the laws and documentation, there's really nothing she can do other than give him the 30 days depending on the laws where she lives there or leave if his name is on the proper documentation.

Honestly the OP from the first story basically did the right thing in exposing a company for its shady practices. I also think the CEO and the CFO trying to bribe the OP into dropping the case is just going to drive them further down the toilet into a 5 star Prison in my opinion. The friend from the third story is blind and also toxic, first for ghosting her friends over an engagement but also allowing her alcoholic boyfriend drive with a suspended licence after multiple dui's, buying him alcohol, and just allowing to go on like this. Well also not having her boyfriend get help for his alcoholism. Also this woman is blind she doesn't realize that her boyfriend is rude to not only her "friends" but also herself. I quoted friends because she might and will loose her friends because of her alcoholic boyfriend. Also maybe the OP from the third story could call the cops on her so called friend and boyfriend for the dum stuff the do.
Story 4: My mother used to tell me that when you assume you make an ass out of you and me. The older sister should have asked her parents questions instead of jumping to conclusions.
The second one get her parents and your parents together with the girlfriend and explain it very carefully that she needs to be more aware of her finances. If the whole family is there it might help
Honestly, in the second to last story. The parents don’t need to tell the kids that they came into this world because of artificial insemination. That’s their business, and it has nothing to do with the fact that they are still their parents, the people that loved and raised them. The sisters decision to just cut everybody off with no pretense as to why is the entire reason that this situation happened the way it did.
One gig I had when I was performing as a magician’s assistant, I was loaned out to different stage magician by my regular magician boss/mentor. This magician tried to make me perform a feat that was extremely dangerous (cannot go into details without revealing the secret of it), so he fired me.
I told my magician boss/mentor, and he made sure that magician was not allowed to do the trick on stage at the club. We even warned other magician assistants not to do that trick.

Get yourself a pair of headphones. You don't have to listen to anything if you don't want to, but this will drive away conversations.
Story 1: Focus on pennies, lose out on dollars. Just because you get training or a certification does not mean you are remotely qualified to do a job or task and im very glad that the OP and other co-workers had enough common sense to refuse the job. That warehouse just sounded like an accident an lawsuit just waiting to happen. The management clearly only cared about their personal bonuses and not the employees or even the welfare of the store itself. Glad to see those managers were fired and that the OP didn't take the raise/bonus from the CEO & CFO.
Story 2: The OP should've run long before having a kid with this woman. Not only is she financially immature, she's just downright greedy. She wants to do anything and everything under the sun and just expect to have the money for it which isn't right, especially when you have expenses in life, both expected and unexpected, like with the car. She needs a serious reality check.
Story 3: If i were the OP, i wouldn't allow either the friend of the bf to the wedding. They are both toxic jerks. The bf for being such a bad drunk, and the friend for her attitude towards the OP's engagement.
Story 4: While things seem to be civil here, i think the OP needs to ask the ex-bf to just leave, regardless of what his possible new place is delaying or whatever.
Story 5: Honestly, i dont think anyone can really be fairly labeled a jerk or not here. The parents could've told the OP, sister and everyone else about all of that before the sister got the genetic test. Sure, it would sting for them, but then things would've been handled so much better. I can see why the sister would assume an affair, but a good conversation with everyone to clear the air would've been a good thing. The sister's action to move away and pretty much cut contact is a bit much but also understandable. Overally, its a bit sad, but things should've been dealt with so much better.
Story 6: Just politely tell them that you dont want to eat with them and just stay by yourself... especially if all they are doing is complaining.

But there was one thing that made me SNAP! “If you like them I bet your as horrible as them!” A said that which the story mainly revolves around A, After this I said in the group chat “I hate A and prob gonna make a vent” vent is smh to release your sadness to tell what happened, and a fight happened, and my anger issues activated, that’s rlly it for day 1, Yea, that’s not all, after this we were rlly done. But I wanted to commit so I said in all the chat’s INCLUDING HIS “I can’t deal with my life anymore, goodbye” yea pretty odd for someone wanting to commit put that but I’m just different, after a long time I decided not to because: 1. I need to be alone for it to work

And they all got the story wrong, They didn’t mention the part where Adam called me horrible. And Ofcourse I replied, “That’s not the story, well kinda.” Then I told the CORRECT story. While my friend dosent want drama to start I want the world to hear my part, so tell me, Am I the jerk for snapping at them?
On the last story, I sort of disagree on your conclusion. Her parents knew that at some time the possibility of their children finding out could happen. The father made that choice to not tell, so the liability also falls on him and his wife for concealing that information. If a sister or brother asked me about doing a DNA sampling and I noticed a change of my sister towards my mother, chances are, we would be brainstorming to try and figure out what happen. I think that would pop up in my conversation with my mother and would make me think there could be a connection. The fault falls on all of them, including the one that discovered her DNA results. It could be the result of the whole family not stepping up and being honest. We are going to seriously believe that her parents have forgotten about that one "small detail" of possible reason of a reaction that could happen later in life? I don't blame the father wanting them to view him as their natural father, but they would treat him that way anyways if he treated them with unconditional love. He should of either been upfront about it, or slowly reveal it as they were getting older. This is the same as not telling a child that she was adopted. My mother was adopted and was extremely close to her adopted father.
Her parents do not suck because they did not tell them their child is infertile. Wth. You dont know the pain they had properly went through why would they suck because he was their father. -.-

Assuming Story 1 is true, I don't get why store management would have its own employees do something so dangerous as replacing a ceiling light bulb and not hire a professional to do the job who's better qualified to do the job.
The electrition costs money. They are already paying the employee so the employee is also costing them money. If they can get the employee to do the job, they don't have to pay 2 people. They save the company money. And it's all about saving money
Final story: OP really needs to get over themselves. Complaining that they can ONLY get 7 hours sleep? Are so popular at work? Most people would love those problems! Just start complaining about your life to your Co-workers, they’ll soon see you for the self obsessed person you really are.

Narrator is so biased towards the writer, almost like they are infallible. Without more context, coming to the conclusion that the older sister in the genetic story is the asshole is sooo short sighted. How old were her siblings when she left? Perhaps she didn't want to ruin their childhoods by exposing the truth (as she knew it) to them. Seems like older sister distanced herself to protect her siblings, because she was upset with being lied too by their parents (wether infidelity or not), she didn't want to share the burden of that truth. Then the younger sibling is basically lashing out by projecting their feelings of hurt about being lied too onto their sibling, instead of the parents that deceived them. It was ultimately the eldest sisters choice, but to say it's solely her responsibility seems grossly unfair. She never lied to her siblings.

Ex boyfriend story: it sucks that you have to live with your ex and feel all this pain. But it seems like he isn't purposely doing all this and trying to manipulate you into staying hurt. It's understandable that you want him out. But unless your name is soley on the lease. He has every right to live there as much as you do. DNA story: Yes the older sister made a mistake of just ghosting out of your life. Instead of trying to find some sort of solution with your parents. It could've easily saved alot of time and created a big family meeting in order to hear the truth. But I don't believe the parents are in the wrong at all in this situation. I'm sure everyone will have their opinions about the right and wrong time to tell a child about surrogacy and/or adoption. But the parents had their reasoning and justifications for their actions. The kids can be victims all they want. But saying that the parents are in the wrong and fucked up. Is a big exaggeration.

I don't know about that DNA test one. To be honest what are you supposed to do about that? Go in front of your entire family and say oh yeah I'm not really my father's daughter and basically accuse your mother of cheating. Even if you did it in private that damage is done. Can you sit here and imagine that your own child would think that you have the capacity to cheat on your significant other, your husband or even wife. On the flip side she could have gone to the father about this, distraught, thinking of her own mother cheated on him. I guess if she went to the father though it would be a lot better because the father would be able to say oh yeah you know I was infertile and you and your siblings are basically all donor babies. I don't know. I have so many scenarios in my head that the only conclusion I can come up with is the parents should have told the children a long time ago. So I don't think the sisters being a jerk. I think the original poster is being emotional and she's hurt along with the sister who basically had to cut her entire family out probably just to keep the peace. Can you imagine thinking your entire life was a lie and that your mother cheated on your father and she probably left to keep the peace for five years. I've seen enough stories through SSM to understand that this kind of accusation, this kind of thing, can destroy families. It's even more harmful and destructive when it turns out to be true.
