Story 2; no, the channel owner is absolutely wrong on this one. Someone decided to try and scam her way into a 'free' vacation and they had the gall to both complain and refuse to even pay when called out. Of course 'Friend of a friend Freddie' deserved *_everything_* they get.

Agreed, FoaF Freddy got what she deserved. But Channel Owner is also partially right it is a Jerk move, a deserved one but still a Jerk move. Gandalf and Co. were completely in the right for leaving this arrogant Freeloader, besides: Friend of a Friend Freddy wouldn't have liked to get car sick again with Gandalf's driving. Story 2 - Freddie the freeloader got what she deserved. If she lost her job because of her lies, she hopefully learned a lesson. She's the jerk, not the OP.
Not a jerk move on the people who left that girl behind causing her to lose her job. I could see an argument where it was dangerous and maybe not an eye for an eye but honestly she already screwed the people over and she doesn't get to have another free ride that was simply the consequences of her action if she's as all intelligent she'll see the silver lining and consider it a life lesson instead of making herself the victim

My brother left me, my young kids and my mom in Missouri after telling me I didn’t have to pay to pay for anything. Then left us in Missouri while trying to figure out how we were going to get back to Alaska. The lesson I learned from it was to NEVER trust my brother or his family again.
Well, nobody is responsible for her safety as an adult. Remember, women do not need men. Women can do anything a man does. With that said, she was not a friend of any of these people and she basically invited herself and then refused to pay the agreed price. If she had taken a flight there buying a one way ticket, would the airlines be responsible for her safety because she didn't have the money for a return flight? She is lucky that they fed her for a week. I personally would have let her starve. What kind of person goes on a trip like that without any money and expecting everyone else to pay? I know you basically said all this but the first part where you talked about her safety, made me want to write this. All too many grown adult women put themselves into dangerous and bad situations and then everyone gets upset when nobody steps in to rescue them. How spoiled and entitled she must be to just expect everyone to pay for her.

the beach house one - i would have made her sleep on a couch or something going forward and buy only pb&j for all of her meals or something. no more food or booze or beds because she's mooching. but i wouldn't have left her behind. although i hope she learned her lesson!

FoaF Freddy got what he deserved. He stole money and lost his ride. He wasn't even smart about it. He should have brought enough money (card, cash, or whatever) to get home if he was caught.

Lol. I remember working at a grocery store, and it was thanks giving all the store closed at 5pm instead of 9pm and there was a giant thanksgiving hours posted on both doors. And at 5:15is. A guy comes to one door. Tries. Its locked. Goes to the other door. Also locked. Looks at his watch. Proceeds to try both doors again. Then puts his hands around his eyes and presses his face to the window to see inside. Sees us and starts knocking on the glass. I walk up to the door and said we're closed. He says both until 9. I point to the thanks giving poster and said not today. Walk away. And i could hear him try to pull on the doors again while knocking

Story number four- i work at a supermarket and last week at 9.15pm i had a customer forcing the store's doors open 15 minutes after everything was closed, the security guard had already left but luckily one of my coworkers saw the guy forcing the doors open and immediately took action. If my coworker wasn't there, we could have been in danger, like imagine trying to finish a shift and a random dude forced the doors open to probably rob us?
Note: the doors were automatic ones but they were already locked

Story 4: NTA. I myself have worked retail and food service jobs where I have to lock up ten to fifteen minutes before actual closing time so we don’t get any last minute customers coming in and holding us up past closing time and incurring overtime pay. It typically took about five to ten minutes to lock up. There was always some customer that would try to come in FIVE MINUTES before closing, and bang on the door, demanding to be let in. I would have to sneak out after I was done locking up. These customers were the worst.

Story number two: I have to disagree with the narrator. I used to know someone like this and they don't learn their lesson until they're putting the hard spot where they have no way out but their own tenacity to solve the problem in which they created. Of course, that's the best-case scenario. By comparison, my former friend never ever looked within herself to see that she was the root cause of all of the conflict in her life. Long story short, my now former friend is in her sixties, has completely lost contact with her grown children, has no relationship with her grandchildren and repeatedly tries to play the victim. I heard this all from another friend that also went no contact with her. So much for growing and learning from one's mistakes.
story 2, today you decide the "could have been " is a problem ? she was fine afterwards... And clearly deserved, otherwise someone would've lend the money, even family... so something really wrong is going on her life...
Plus she hated the driver, so why should she travel with him ? he gave her a favor..

The third story about the cheating sister: if I didn't know any better I would swear this was about my former best friend. She had no respect for boundaries, zero comprehension of the word no and nothing resembling accountability for her actions. Whenever she found herself stuck between a rock and a hard place in a conflict or drama that she had created, she would squeeze out some crocodile tears claiming she would change and do better next time, I'm sure you know the drill. Nothing was off-limits with her. She even used her own children to get handouts from people because she never felt like keeping a job. Yes, just like in this story, she was also a cheating spouse. Flash-forward all these years later and I learned through a mutual friend who also cut her off, that she's now in her sixties, her children have cut contact with her, she doesn't know her only grandchild and somehow she still married to her husband. The icing on the car my cake, she is the nursemaid to her very spiteful elderly mother-in-law who absolutely hates her guts. One can hope that OP's sister eventually sees that she's a toxic waste of space and try to change. Then again that's about as likely as Miley Cyrus singing on key without autorune

Im sorry but i have to say that on story number 2. The grown adult woman put herself in that situation. If she had taken a flight there and not had the money to return, would it be the airlines fault for her safety? Remember, women can do anything a man can do. We are in the world of equality. Too many times, grown adult women put themselves in danger and then when someone doesn't come to their rescue, we have people that are upset. Guess what? She agreed to terms. None of these people were responsible for her safety. Had i been on that trip, she would not have any food for a week either. The entire situation was caused by her and she knew upfront that she didnt have the money. If she was honest and had any integrity, she wouldnt have been there at all.
I am a professional mechanic, the way she acted is exactly why i will never do side work on a woman's car. I have had several times in the past when a woman agreed to pay a price, i did the work and it wasn't until i was done that they told me they didnt have the money and i would have to wait. Weeks turned into months and then a year. Finally something else would break on the vehicle and here they come again. When i reminded them they still had not paid me for the last repair, they would pull out some random reason why they should not have to. Nope, i never help women now. I never loan them money. Never work on their vehicles. Never help them move. Never allow them to stay at my house, even when they are facing being homeless. The only woman i do this for is the woman i am romantically involved with. Even then, i will not help any of her friends or family.
It was a bit much, but if she had a history of doing this, then let this be the next level of punishment since being cut off hasnt helped.
2nd story yeah it wasn't the right thing to do but it didn't sound like friend of a friend Freddie was any of their friends and she hopefully hasn't pulled shit like this since cause that was entitled, rude, and a chain of behavior

For the 1st story, I wouldn't mind too much if I was scammed just for 10 or 20, I'd just think of it as beggers wanting some money.
