That stepdad got exactly what he deserved. Homeless? His own fault, he should not have mistreated the person who OWNS the house he's living in. Jobless? His own fault, he should not have committed fraud, especially considering his profession (although I don't think he's worthy of being called professional).
Absolutely agree with you the stepdad never treated him like family or even as a person. They got what they deserved.
Absolutely. He can go live in hell...
🔥🔥🔥🔥
I totally agree
I totally agree aswell
agreed
Wow. There is no excuse for this. That father and son are terrible. This kid is a legend to deal with this with no close family, and very young. Bravo. You are NOT the jerk
Second story - It's simple: the OP paid for the seat. It's hers. She is not the jerk for expecting to get what she paid for.
I'm absolutely sickened from this story. Not only to lose your closest family but to have that disgusting individual take advantage of him and everything else. Just terrible.
1st story: Stepfather got what he deserved, almost. If they'd thrown his butt in prison for embezzlement he wouldn't have to worry about being homeless. Since the lawyer seems a decent man, I hope OP asked him to recommend an honest financial manager. 2nd story: "If you don't own it, you don't control it." OP owned the second seat for the duration of the flight. I'm just glad that the attendant backed her up.
I know how the original poster feels when he said he feels like something bad is gonna happen and most of the time it does
If he didn't care for you in the start then he never really cared for you at all.
But just imagine being in an argument with the stepdad and having full power to say
This is my house!
I can't believe the stepdad is this horrible
the thumbnail😭😭😭I cant😭😭😭😭😭😭😭💀💀💀💀💀
NOPE!!!! I hate when people are nice when they feel they can get something from you.
What I will do once I figure out, I would instantly sue him and make it harder for him instead
EXTRA part in the Vid:
Not to mention Technically By law you Must go to your Original Seat OR Ask the crew If you can Switch seats Since Ground crew and the Pilots have to Calculate Take off Angle, Speed and Weight.
The thumbnail tho😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Man if the Lawyer was corrupt he would have been beyond screwed . Thank Goodness the Legal system can see the obvious Cinderella story too .
The stepdad in the thumbnail😂😆
How no one is talking abt the thumbnail 😂😂
He used your now deceased mother to manipulate you? I would have been off the hinges.
The thumbnail cleared my insomnia. Thank you!
Yeah I’m sooooooo happy this kid got his justice god bless America don’t ever let that Phonee back in your life
Not a jerk. in either one. The Inheritance one is a clear cut case of GREED! The OP had every legal right to do what he did and Getting an AUDIT of the finances was exactly the right thing to do! The second was clear cut as well. That was his seat, he Paid for it , The Couple had NO right or recourse to infringe upon him. Kudos to both!
It's similar to KX-3, since she is larger than others, so her waist covered a seat so she buys two seats (plus a third for those who couldn't afford it
me in that situation: yeah this guy kidnapped me.
Yeah I like how his step dad does the same to me to butter me up to get to my mom and my family and then get bullied after he was done using me
That sounds exactly like everyone in my family
It’s because his last owner waited until he fell asleep and when he woke up he was in the shelter so he was worried so the owner open the barrier
In the thumbnail.
Why that guy looks like dream if he had been assulted with a hammer?
Best thumbnail picture I’ve ever seen
At least the OP in the second story admits to her weight and that she feels uncomfortable touching up against other people.
😭😭💀💀The thumbnail 💀
ngl making a guy homeless and lose his job is kinda overkill
The blood of the covenant is thicker then the water of the womb.
5:53 dude Brian had something to do with it.
Smart grandparent.
Stepdad clearly planned the accident too!
The thumbnail 💀💀💀
Wow! My step dad is a douche also. I remember Christmas morning and getting nothing, but his kids got presents. I still love my parents yet I don’t trust them and unfortunately would not benefit from their deaths. I’m glad you got something because it could have been even worse for you. Your grandparents could have had nothing-your mom could have had nothing-and you would just be totally screwed. It’s tragic to lose 3 family members all at once. You have my sympathy.
the hes looking is insane
I have that sixths sense to
I--that thumbnail is TERRIFYING.
Me watching the gameplay behind:
That thumbnail tho
At this point, They are the jerk is the new tirle

You did what was right people's true colors comes out when it comes to material things ownership of estates houses cars jewelry money you'll find out who somebody really is if you put a big stack of cash in front of them I promise you that I found out the hard way I thought my family was there for me no they were there for my inheritance my dad bought motorcycles every f****** few months wrecked every damn one of them
You choosed the life
bro what is the thumbnail 😭
I cant😭😭😭
Bro the thumbnail
everything that happend to the stepdad was from his own stupid choice's, he chose to try and force the matter to come out on top after losing out on the inheritance and dug his own grave, he could have just accepted his loss and hope the op would be generous when they got older, instead he gambeled and lost everything to his own greed.
The thumbnail 💀
Bro why is nobody talkin about the person on the thumbnail 💀💀💀💀
FR
Bro was bout to say that
If I were that first OP I'd have a restraining order filed against the step-dad and his son and move far away, people have killed for WAY less than that, no sense not being careful.
I couldn't agree with this more. I've seen people try & kill over literally nothing. _They_ bump _your_ shoulder, and before _you_ turn around they're already pulling out the shiv. People are freakin' dangerous, and anything can happen any time.
Smartest choice is always to be wary of others- especially once they've got _some_ kind of reason.
Yep moving was the first thing I thought after that story. No way I’d stay where they knew where I lived after doing that.
That entire stupid clause that says op had to wait until he was 18 is just stupid
You can't get a restraining order for stuff involving money, at least that's what I think. You can only get one for harassment, theft, assault etc. Basically physical stuff.
Op also lives in the GPS house so the step dad prolly knows where he lives 🤷♂️
In the case of the second story...she literally paid 2x the price to have extra space for the comfort of herself and those around her. I'm glad the airline respected that. I've heard horror stories about airlines forcing people over a certain size to do that, but then giving the seat away to someone on standby anyway. So literally just charging a fat fee but not actually guaranteeing extra space.
Exactly... And I bet if she hadn't bought both seats, they would have told her that she should have bought two seats (sadly I've heard that joke about people too many times).
yes, but would have been a totally different story if OP only bought one seat but expected to use portion of other unpaid seat due to their size.
So good on OP to buy an extra seat!
The guy said brother the ops a boy
All of you shut up and look at the goofy ahh thumbnail💀
@@yuhno808Agreed.
The Stepdad got exactly what he deserved.
I’m glad the young man had enough intelligence to do what was necessary to get rid of his stepdad and stepbrother.
Yes he now needs an honest person to help him navigate with his inheritance.
I can't even comprehend the 1st story. How the hell does this kid in any world think he's the jerk, the kid needs a family and a hug. Lost all his close blood relatives before 18 years old. Now has to stay with asshole step-family that wants to strip all his wealth and make him penniless. Kid you are amazing for surviving all of that and have good instincts. I hope you are able to make a family you can feel safe with someday. The story hit to damn close to home for me and I was lucky I had my mom.
I think the kid needs a dog instead. And he isn't a kid now I think. Dogs can manipulate but never betray.
@@1mol831 When I say kid, more so a young person. I have 10 years on him at least.
@@0doublezero0 I see kid = child = small person aka someone who is less than 10 years old. People have different definitions of the same word indeed.
@@1mol831 Yeah, if you watch some movies you'll see an older guy (40s) call a younger guy (20s) kiddo.
finally, i found someone who looks at the perpective of the OP, not just decides if he was the jerk or not
The OP for being so young handled it well. Calling the lawyer was best thing OP could have done. The stepfather using some of the money isn't surprising. The fact he had to pay it back was the best part.Since he owed OP so much he lost everything. Karma sometimes gets the bad guy.
Sadly, if he has no job and is omeless I guess he will file for bankrupcy and avoid paying him back what he owns.
Not the jerk. The kid would have chosen his family over money. I hope his grandparents taught him about scammers and how to handle money before they passed. Glad his lawyer handled this well. As far as the plane seating goes, if you paid for both seats then they are yours. We have all had some stranger lean way too far into us in a crowded space and it is awkward. Obviously buying the second seat was to prevent not just the awkwardness but also making someone feel self conscious and hurt their feelings. I am sure someone else would have traded with the couple so they could sit together.
yea i agree
4 million is not enough. Need 120 million to live a nice life.
@@1mol831 actually if done correctly and he works for a few years . Let's interest accrue and he invests wisely he can then never work again. Make the money work for you. Is why I hope his grandparents taught him about investing and the stockmarket. Anyone complaining about being left 4 M. When all you want is your family and life back is ridiculous. Completely missed the moral of the story.
@@1mol831 you only need 1.2million to live decently whole life rest money you could have put in bank for % gain so no you crazy as fuk
@@lisasmith7474 family is obviously better than money. Money can be spent, family takes longer to be spent
i honestly feel bad for op because of him losing the ones closest to him and being forced to live with a person trying to manipulate him.
That step dad got exactly what he deserved in story 1, and in story 2 if somebody tried pushing me out of my freaking seat I would have done the same thing (I'm actually pretty thin, only weighing 170 lb)
Edit: Dang 3 likes, more than I've ever gotten! 👩🏻
umm... 77 kg is not thin, it's average
@@panda9315 It can be thin if you're tall.
I'm also thin at 1700kg
@@jahbless3220 I'm 5'11" and a woman lol
Dang 3 is your max?
Second story, I feel like the poster was not a jerk. She intentionally purchased a second ticket to ensure she and the other passengers were comfortable. The boyfriend invaded that space without a second thought. Doubly a jerk for being rude as well.
The op who bought 2 seats is in the right, thats exactly how to handle the situation, you adapt to the world and not the other way around, props to her
Yeah I know a lot of flights actually make obese people pay for two seats if that’s how much space they need. But the couple insulting the op just because they were angry they got called out for doing something wrong is ridiculous.
@@alyssaberg8507 making they pay is not a good thing in my eyes, let them make the decision to get more confort, its sad to see them having to deal with people like that when they are actually doing the right thing
@@GabrielM01 Technically it does affect other passengers if they are too large in size. It would be more ideal if they are to fly business.
@@1mol831 thats why she bought 2 seats my guy, and she was talked shit for it
@@GabrielM01 She was unfortunate indeed.
Normally I dont like when people take up two seats on a plane because they didn't pay for the spot that there mass takes up, However; she payed for the spot AND the couple went out of there way to sit in that spot. If she payed for that extra spot it's hers and she can do what she wants with it
Exactly. You can't complain if you don't pay for the seat, but if you do, everyone else can kindly fk off.
Agreed
Basicly, she paid for it, so they can piss off
he's not a jerk, he's smart it was the fathers home he had been stealing money

I have a strong feeling the grandparent knew the stepdad steal from them or they saw red flag and knew they couldn't trust him and they just play along for OP and the mother who they had a bond with but in secret they left OP with everything and when Stepdad told OP that he would take care of his money at that moment I knew the stepdad going try fuck over OP for sure and by he want OP sign everything over to him when Op turn 18 his true color came out and the reason why the stepdad didn't want Op to have a relationship with his family cause he want Op alone cause he think he can manipulation OP by himself and Karma came
Definitely the grandparents knew. No doubts
I’m surprised you can write that much text without any punctuation at all.
@@dontatmeimmoody2895 that what I think to they knew he was shady as hell and just pretend to be good with him
@Engie Boi I would hate to be in a text conversation with that. Grammar mistakes drive me nuts.
@@scottcuilty4154 Well, not everybody is originally an english speaker so some times it's due to that. Though I don't know why the was no punctuation
No one forced your stepdad to steal from your family. Even a crappy parent can be a provider and that’s the very least he could do. On a more cynical note, him and his son were suddenly very nice to you AFTER they found out all the assets were left to you. This change in behavior is evidence that even after losing your mother and grandparents, they were still going to treat you like crap before finding out you’re their golden goose.
Bravo to the OP for standing up when things looked bad. Glad how things worked out in the end.
"Original poster"
I feel bad fot the first op, he lost his family and had to deal with those 2, and even if he got all that money, won't fill the hole of loosing his family, i hope he find nice people that wont try to use him as a pig bank and give him happiness and enjoy life, and don't spend all money in vegas
The second OP is not a jerk. She's entitled to the 2 seats she paid for. How would the couple like it if someone took something they paid for with their own money.
And the 1st OP is definitely not a jerk. The stepdad probably would've drained all his money and kicked him out if he found out sooner.
The stepdad is weird.
Regarding the first story if it was me I would have sought alternative guardianship. It was obvious it was not going to work out well. Someone under the age of majority can actually become their own legal guardian if the court deems it necessary. It can usually also be done permanently or temporarily.
An alternative guardian can be appointed by the government, that occurs for adults that can't look after themselves and services paid for by the estate. I was my own legal guardian from a young age, much younger than OP.
@Y I was my own guardian from the age of 13. I could sign, imagine that.
@Y I was my own guardian from the age of 15.
Ty for sharing
Iam 89% sure that That step dad paid somebody to cause the accident.
I know he's a jerk but i don't think that possible
if he was so wise with money then why did he steal so much. that alone proves otherwise. ima be honest I had the biggest smile when the trash stepdad was sued. What the heck did he expect op to not realize?
Smart people can steal money, but others never realize and they get away with it. Those who steal money and get discovered and held accountable are not smart enough.
In fact I think smart people are stealing your money right now by having the government charge taxes and perform government expenditure.
how to avoid scammers after inheriting millions of dollars: don’t have any children, otherwise the scammers will have a reason to go for the “your child got hit by a car and is in the hospital!” thing
Then how do I continue my family tree if I don't need children
Couldn't you just...call the hospital and confirm it?
my child is at home
-scammer rare drops to -69
Is only me that thinks the stepfather planned the accident so he could take all the money and properties?
No. I believe so too.
He and his son will both
rot in hell for they're greedy actions.
I thought the same. It was to much convenient he and his son stay, and hope OP will stay as well (mainly because if OP went and died in the accident the inheritance will go to a charity instead). SO they could pull this scheme knowing OP is still underage but 1 year away at the time when it happens, and they try to bullied their way into make them the sole owner of the inheritance too. Even the red flags was the moment the step father start to threat OP concerns as worrying to much and overreact. Is as if he knew what would happen too that day and prepare himself for all of this.
Nope me as well this was my first thought
same exact thought as it was just too convenient for him
I thought the same. But something like this would take some serious planning to do it.
I'm sorry the first OP's loss I know what it's like to lose a close family member. 2 years ago, my great grandmother passed just before I graduated high school. I was really close to her and would always help her get around. My family is low middle/low class and we have a very different outlook on money and most of her money was used on her funeral and paying off her bills. I would have done the same thing as op but file a restraining order.
It sucks when a person is terrible and you're the only one who can see it.
Story 2: NTJ. The couple were too cheap to buy seats next to each other, or didn't plan ahead, so that is on them. Just their actions and reactions alone tell me this is the case.
story one made me on the verge of tears. but my opinion is that not a jerk, your inheritance your money. and i wish the op the best of luck.
For the first story the timing of the death of the grandparents and mothers seems so off
Right!
Agreed. Bet that scumbag stepdad caused the accident on purpose.
That jerk should burn in hell.
Anime of the entitled
I remember one incident in which my sis bought the window seat of the plane even when I insisted she doesn't have to pay more for that I'll take a middle seat. Dude who had the aisle seat got angry on me when i told him that window seat is mine and his is the aisle one and told me he will get up when the plane starts i was annoyed but i said ok. Then the flight attendants announced that no passengers can get up from their seats after the flight starts. I panicked and just asked the flight attendants to explain that guy about the seats. He got furious when i did that but thank God he got up without a fuss. I hate it when I pay extra for some seats and someone else is entitled enough to even fight for it
Most satisfying story 😩🤌🏽💦
I really feel for the first kid. I can't imagine losing the rest of my family, but I know how he feels since I lost multiple family members this past year. My grandparents were just like his as well, had multiple millions. My dad has inherited most of the money, and he's in his 70's. He's getting married in 1 month, to his bitch of a gf 12 or 13 years younger than him, both their third marriage. Tg I have a sister to go through this hell with.
Goodbye inheritance... I dont believe in remarrying in old age for this reason.
Its just so dumb, why must you be 18 before you inherit an estate?
Just, why? The legal guardian cannot always be trusted to keep all of it, sometimes they screw the person over and get Away with it since the person inheriting the estate isn't 18 yet
That stupid law that says you must be 18 must go
Granted, but it’s sorta the same things like lottery tickets and alcohol, like it’s dangerous for a minor to have it, I don’t mean to be rude, but minors can’t really do anything with it, what would a minors do with 6 million US dollars? (The whole value of everything he now owns.) well considering who you ask, obviously he was 17-18 in this story.
After hearing what happened to OP’s mother and grandparents I almost cried and that doesn’t happen often as I am pretty much emotionless
It's crazy how fast this channel is growing!
Last story: Not a jerk. Plane seats are expensive. I wouldn't have asked him to move - I would have demanded it. OP did nothing wrong.
No it was not your fault dude he is a shady man that doesn’t deserve anything
Kid needs to invest his inheritance and save it. Safer than spending it like it isn't going to end.
You are not the jerk your stepdad should not have done that and he should know about the consequences if he’s a full grown adult.
Story 1: the OP is not a jerk, the step father was being so obvious in wanting the OP's inheritence. I don't how the step people's reaction was during the news of the death but I think the OP should get a full investigation into just to make sure the step father didn't arrange for that little "accident".
Story 2: not a jerk, The op payed for that seat. The flight attendant sided with the OP because she was a paying customer. Besides that couple would only be apart for a few hours, They be together with each other the whole time at where ever they are going.
OP needs to see the lawyer that enacted/helped write the will. Best to sell the house and move without a forwarding address after getting a restraining order
#1 - NTA. The OP didn't make the stepdad homeless, the stepdad did through his own actions. Also, as the guardian of a minor with both parents deceased he was likely collecting social security survivor's benefits on the OP.
So the second story Op is a jerk for not giving up HER sit?
That is mind-blowing logic right there
I agree but damn fuck, discord and reddit mod + genshin impact player at the same time
I feel bad for the person that lost his family.
I feel really bad about op cause his step dad try to steal his money and his grandparents and parents died I am thinking how do he live now
When it comes to estates, the worst comes out of people. Good on this person to stand up to that thief.
We had a couple losses in the family last year. It was _devastating._ I couldn't honestly say that, if it were me in this situation, I wouldn't want to go and just _humiliate_ the bastards, if I could find them on the street.
I'm not one for pissing on, picking on, robbing or beating up the homeless, but in their case? Holy shit- I'd love to see the thieving scumbags _fight_ over a cheap porkchop or some shit. It'd make me smile _for the rest of my life._
