Winogrand is infinitely entertaining to watch. His "act" is so perfect. His mannerisms and the way in which he disarmed and provided distraction was enthralling.
"Acknowledge the beauty that brought you into that moment....", amazing man... BTW that gesture idea of yours while making pictures to not to freak out strangers is amazin' man.....keep up the legendary work...👍
You can tell that at the end you've got more relaxed and into zone. TN seems totally different than NY and i like that cuz there are so many photographs taken in NY. I think this will help you grow and get you out of a NY comfort zone. looking forward for next street diaries!
i normally never comment on any yt videos, but man... this one was so inspiring. the editing, you narrating the whole thing, and the photos. loved it all. thanks so much. i'm looking forward to seeing more
Man, I am really excited to see this. As a photographer I can relate the feeling of been there at the exact moment when something spontaneous like this happens. I’m stoked.
Man, I'm from Western Australia and this video brought me so much joy. I have a deep affection for Southern culture and hospitality and the vibe here was so great. Thank you so much for the trip.
Great Stuff! Been waiting all day back here in germany for the video to drop. Thanks for the great tips, you've been a huge inspiration and played a massive part in getting me into film photography 🙏🏻
Good to see you again Joe I had a very good moment watching and learning from your experience and advises Thank you and hopefully we'll see more of your work soon, ☺️
Thank you, Joe. So nice to see you in the streets again. It is just so inspiring to see you work. Dancing like GW! Because of you (and this vide0) I am picking up my M6 this weekend and going out there. Thanks to you.
I think its interesting watching you work while talking about your process. You hardly lock eyes with anything or anyone, you're just scanning and its pretty sweet.
That's the kind of video I wanna see more of on RUclips! Really nice and informative to see you going through your photo making process with some very usefull tips as well as both the good and the not so good photos. Great job!
Super excited to see these come back!! And super excited to see how you document Nashville during this time. Great pointers in this video, I’m a fan of the “idk what I’m doing with my camera” technique as well. Also that money scene at the end gave me chills. Can’t wait for the next one!
3:18 time stamp. Crazy how you can literally just walk up, raise your camera and take pictures of complete strangers and they don't do anything about it! Here in Berlin people would always get mad at me if I take pictures of them which makes it really hard for me to find confidence in taking street photos. I still think that working around that and facing this sort of challenge pushes me in my work and creativity. Love your work a lot! Great Episode :)
I live there to, I just take the photo and deal with the consequences, legally they cannot do anything, your artistic right, your photos have copyright
Holy moly, Joe, if this doesn't boost the need to be creative.. I don't know what does. Very excited to be on the streets again! Thanks for this amazing video!
Awesome, Joe! Holy cow, the really close shot you got of "Jimmy Kay" when he was right up in front of you! How you got that in focus from so close is insane! I can manual focus a little, but not intantaniously like that. Legendary! The advice you offer here is so appreciated as well.
Great tips man!! Thank you for being back with this! I mean, i follow your work for sure at least 3 years, and i dont even know why i wasnt subscribed yet.
Just found this in my you-tube feed. Liked, and subscribed. Every city is different, but I see that the Nashville street shooting environment is noticeably different than street shooting in NYC, Tokyo, and other such mega-cities. Nashville seems somewhat like Houston, which is near me, though Nashville is obviously more touristy. (I am not claiming to be much of a street photographer, but, have occasionally walked about Downtown Houston, with a camera.) Interesting presentation, well-done. Thanks!
Oh yes, so glad street diaries are back! Phenomenal episode as always, the behind the scenes footage and the on location commentary was so insightful. Can’t remember when the streets over here (Germany) have been that crowded, watching this gives me the street photography itch - I miss it so much.
@@KarinMajoka thx hahah yes a bit of sun and the germans go crazy as well as the streetphotographers lmao absolutely but "der april was macht er will" and there comes the snow :/
THE RETURN OF THE KING! Man Joe I discovered film photography at the beginning of the pandemic and quarantine and I discovered you and your channel and so many other great film photographers, you're such a huge inspiration to me and I know to many others not just to go out and photograph the streets but to just go out and shoot. I can't wait to see what more you bring to the channel. I'll keep shooting if you do. :)
I could see someone being annoyed with jimmy doing what he did. I love that you just rolled with it and made the situation work for you. Made for some great images!
Happy that you're back! Great episode and really love the way it's looking. The extra camera ads a lot of value to it! I'm excited to see whats in the future.
I enjoyed the up’ed production value man. And so cool to see something different than the streets of New York!
"We are all living the same shit, different pile" - Jimmy K
What an episode, please do more of these showing interactions!
finally, street diaries is backkkkk
Well hello there
"We all in the same shit, just a different pile"

I hope everybody who take pictures come across with more Jimmy K's in their lives

Not only were the photographs great, but the gems of knowledge you dropped were spectacular 👏🏽
I feel Nashville fits Joe’s personality so well, excited to see more of these!!

The modern god of street photography is back. Love it. Thanks man, this is therapy to some of us.
Yes great to see different city like Nashville and to hear the street sounds instead of background music. Keep up the good work.
Man, I'm from Western Australia and this video brought me so much joy. I have a deep affection for Southern culture and hospitality and the vibe here was so great. Thank you so much for the trip.
i’m so happy these are back, i even texted my mum
Can't tell you how happy this video made me rn :)

The Gods of street photo maker and kickass awesome photographer is back!! 🤘🤘
This motivates me a lot, not everyone lives in NY - its interesting to see you creating such stunning images in new environments
Good to see you again Joe
I had a very good moment watching and learning from your experience and advises
Thank you and hopefully we'll see more of your work soon, ☺️
Jimmy k forcibly inserting himself into this episode 😂
Honestly, I really miss these street diaries! I've seen these videos a couple times and now, I found myself watching it all over again...
I love the warm lit brick and old glass that you often find in old cities like Nashville.
your positive vibes are hugely inspiring!! not only photography wise but life wise. thank you!
Thank you, Joe. So nice to see you in the streets again. It is just so inspiring to see you work. Dancing like GW! Because of you (and this vide0) I am picking up my M6 this weekend and going out there. Thanks to you.

That arm trick to catch people’s attention was too smooth 🔥
I thought that was either a focus check or a spot meter check…..
Good to see you on new episode street diaries
Welcome to Tennessee! Glad to have y’all!!
Good to have you back!

My camera backs up to two slots so if I delete one it keeps the copy, if they ask you to delete you can show it happen, unless its film
When RUclips recommends me channels like you I am happy
Holy moly, Joe, if this doesn't boost the need to be creative.. I don't know what does. Very excited to be on the streets again!

Nice to see you back. Loving the old school Air Force fatigue you are wearing.
the contrast in the work from NYC vs Nashville is gonna be fun to see!
Jimmy K is easily the GOAT of his respective fields
YES brother so happy to see you back and inspired !!
MISSED THIS, the different angle on the interactions you have as well with the extra camera is awesome
Love seeing you tackle a different pace of life in a different location. Inspiring!!
