- Excited to show you all a little behind the scene of a commercial shoot I did for the running brand i am signed with called Bandit Running based out of Greenpoint, Brooklyn. This is the second shoot ive done with them and we shot the whole 72 hour campaign on film. mostly medium format. This is probably my 7 or 8th time watching this. I ordered a few rolls of film and taking our brand out for a shoot the end of this month. This video inspired me. Just wow!

having worked in costumes for commercials and movies you are 100% correct that creative freedom is almost never something you are given fully. It's wildly fun to get to witness a creative have such creative control. I wish every set had these vibes!

Nothing better than a realistic photograph for an ad-campaign [the bike shot on approach to the Williamsburg Bridge].
Being able to shoot this amount of material and keeping it this good of a quality throughout is absolutelly nuts. Congrats on the campaign!

You have entered a level mastery in your craft that is way above just "great." You have tapped into a genius level similar to Messi in soccer, MJ in basketball, Novak in tennis, etc... So inspiring, so influential, so refreshing. Keep it up GOAT 🐐

Great BTS of a great Brand+Creator fit. What really hit me though: How good are Tims finishing words at the end of the shoot. I have assisted and shot myself for years but never experienced such a "coach" mentality wrap-up at the end of a shoot by a brand reprensentative. Kudos to the whole team that made this campaign.

"Bandit is spoiled". lol great way to sum up the production value. Coming from Canada where an expected budget like this would be laughed at even for a sports team in one of North America's top 4 leagues, it's great to see Bandit's commitment to producing the best work it can. I wish all brands thought this way.

I come from pre digital days - So basically you shot an ad campaign like we use to do back before the advent of digital... About the only thing different is not being shot on Hasselblad which was the gold standard for shooting ad campaigns on medium format and we typically shot on chrome not negative film stock. Alot of Type 669 polaroids were burned during that time...
That guy with the steady cam for the 35mm film motion camera rig is a savage! What a setup.
