- It’s hard to believe that our Alaska cruise has come to an end. But, what an amazing last day it was! From cooking demonstrations to ice carving, afternoon tea to Deal or No Deal, and SO much more! It’s hard to put in to words just how wonderful this experience was. Princess Cruises really outdid themselves and we see why so many people say that they are the best cruise line to experience Alaska on.
We’re so thankful we got to experience all of this with Justin and Lacey. Over the past couple of years they have become like family to us, and having them on this cruise made it so much more special. Go follow them here on RUclips if you aren’t already: / outzroll

I loved this cruise series. I would say that Princess has it down when it comes to cruising, especially leaving the ship.

Absolutely loved this series of traveling Princess Cruises in the good old AK! Makes me really want to do this again! Our travels this summer into fall are all the make up trips that were put onhold from 2020 and 2021! But getting very excited, cause Next Sunday we leave to travel to the State of Washington, and we are cruising on the Snake and Colombia rivers...with the American Queen cruise line! I’m really enjoying your channel. We are taking this exact cruise next June. We haven’t cruised Princess before so hope it’s as good as it has been for you guys. Thank you. Thank you. Your Alaska cruise video series meant more to me than you will know. We were looking forward to meeting both of you on this cruise, but this was not to be. We had booked two weeks on celebrity with a day in Vancouver and then the two weeks on Princess to celebrate 50 years of marriage and my 70th birthday. But on day 6 of the 14 on celebrity, I tested positive with Covid. I spent the rest of the cruise in the red zone-deck 2. My husband was upstairs in our balcony room - he could leave if fully masked -meals had to be in his room. Because my quarantine was not over until midnight June 11, I could not board Royal Princess - I was really bummed. But in your videos you did everything I wanted to do, and they were so well done and informative I feel like I was there. Thank you. 💕
I am like you, I collect ornament from every place we have been. I have enough for 3 full size trees now.

We liked the balcony a lot! I don’t know if we liked it as much or more than a normal balcony, each has their pros and cons. Next time we would probably try for a normal balcony, but having the extra space was so nice!

It’s a thing, the cops bodily removed the drunk. Sometimes several cops will pickup and carry arrestee out of br.
I’m pretty sure bodily remove us is a Harry Potter spell 😂 at least that’s what I hear
As an English teacher, “bodily remove” is definitely not a thing. But, as a reader she can make things up as she pleases.
I'd be curious to know whether you would recommend a cruise over an RV trip through Alaska now that you've done both. I've always imagined Alaskan cruises to be more of what you did on the Glacier Bay day but it seems like that is not the case. Thanks so much for sharing!
Ooooh! Good question! Both are wonderful experiences. However, after cruising Alaska, we still think you can have a better Alaskan experience by doing it yourself as an independent traveler
@@LeggLife That's what I was thinking after seeing your videos. It seems like you can see more wildlife and experience more of the natural beauty via a road trip. I also didn't realize each port could accommodate several ships. That made the towns look insanely busy.

Good question! I could, because I’m on the taller side, but Sherri needed to stand up because the wall was solid.
I'm not sure if it was you guys or your fellow traveling bloggers, but I've heard mention of a "coffee card" that is sharable within the members of your party. I can find no information about this on the princess website. Do I have to purchase this ahead of time? If not? Do I do so at guest services after boarding?
Well, apparently Princess did away with the coffee card since we sailed last year. We were trying to buy it for our upcoming cruise next month when we learned that. We’re bummer about it not being offered any more!

I know the prices will vary.... but if we pay for specialty coffees on a "per cup basis", are we looking at $4.00 to $5.00 range? Or a $6.00 to $7.00 range?
I'm trying to do the math to figure out if we should get a beverage package.

Yup! There are actually quite a few people who have done that! In fact, our friend Alana Zingano has a great series of interviews with someone named Super Mario, who did that. Search that here on RUclips and check it out, it’s pretty fascinating!
Try throwing the dirty clothes back in a suit case as you go. It makes pack up much faster
