- After an amazing trip to Fiji, we wanted to do one final wrap-up video with all of our thoughts. We talk about our favorites, things we loved, tips we would give people about visiting, and some of the processing we've been doing around what needs to change or be different in light of this trip.

I only started watching you guys last year when you went on your first Princess cruise because I love Princess & was interested in your opinions on the travels. I must tell you that whatever happened to you with your personal experience after Fiji & the new challenge to find an R&R that suits you two worked!! Adam, I had no idea what your work was except it was some kind of help for people in need. I have a different way to lift you up in prayer now. Since Sherri has gone to work with HAL, I hope that she hasn't stressed more but finds time to reflect anew with her ideas & challenges. You guys are the best & you actually encourage me with your attitudes, your willingness to share openly & the way you approach your families & their needs. You guys are really troopers & I appreciate your pods & videos about your lives. Thank you. Be consistent in your service to God & the work that He's set for you; the blessings will continue, and you will have such a perfect peace that you're doing, being all that He needs for you to be. I don't post comments on anything usually, but we have watched every video for years now! We love you guys! So glad you both got the rest you needed! Our family works with a ministry that serves our homeless brothers and sisters in Minneapolis and I know the heaviness you speak of with certain individuals. I'm so thankful that you do the work you do, and the lives that have been saved are so precious. May God continue to guide you and protect you! I personally think it would be amazing to hear more about your job to shed light to others as well as know better how to look for danger signs and help those we serve in the homeless community.

I’m so glad you have such and lovely time and have started to make some decisions and changes for how you want you life to be. I hope you find what works best you you both and we’ll be here for how ever you choose to do that.

Hello - This vacation has rejuvenated both of you - both of you look amazing. I loved the processing of your thoughts, so honestly. I could never do what you do day in and day out. Allow the 'selfish' to happen and know we, as your community will love to hear and help. It made me feel so good to send stuff to the shelter you partnered with. Was it Ohio I think. At least I could help in a small way.

Love hearing your thoughts. Fiji is quite close (3hr flight) so I have been a few times.
Funny about packing - I always find that I pack heaps of clothing and end up wearing my togs (swimsuit) and a cover up the whole time.

Really enjoyed watching the Fiji videos! It was a place I didn't know much about. I think I could really use a relaxing vacation, especially as a mom to young children. I don't get a lot of downtime. Fun vacations are usually still exhausting. However, my husband and I have discovered that we're not so good at relaxing on vacation. 😆 For our honeymoon nearly 11 years ago, we went to Hawaii and booked the first 4 days at a fancy resort thinking we'd want to rest after the craziness of the wedding. Now granted, part of the problem was we didn't have the best weather- we didn't realize how much it rains there in November, but within a day or so, we got pretty bored and restless just chilling at the hotel! (We were also supposed to do an amazing sounding tour my parents recommended that got cancelled due to weather) We ended up renting a car a day or so earlier than originally planned so that we could go exploring. It's hard to relax when you always think you are going to miss something fun!
To be honest, I'm just not a Disney person. I don't get into it at all. That said, I follow this channel and look forward to your videos because you seem like cool people with whom I'd love to hang out. Congrats on realizing that self-care is important and I hope you are able to truly carve some time out of your busy lives to rejuvenate. I look forward to seeing how your channel grows and transforms and will be here cheering you on.

There was one Instagram live I was on where you ended up going deeper into your nonprofit work, Adam; and it was enlightening, sobering, and inspiring. I think it is that work that allows you to find so much joy in the rest of life and your adventures and I’d be humbled to see more of it reflected here if that’s what you choose.
You need to go to the other Hawaiian Islands. There, you will find true Aloha. Oahu is like LA on an island. The moment we land on Kauai, we immediately go into low gear relaxation. If you can't get back to Fiji, and need that deep relaxation, slow mode... give Kauai a try...

I've just found you guys and loved your Fiji series. Question, how far away was the market that you went to from the resort? We are staying at the same resort and I want to get supplies to save some money.
Hi! First, we hope you have an amazing stay! We took a taxi from the resort to the store and I would say it was about 10 - 15 minutes? Not too bad! And the hotel was able to call the taxi for us and the driver waited while we shopped and then took us back!
Watching your vlogs, I’m so happy you got to relax and enjoy your trip so much! Life is too short to run a rat race on vacation. When you choose to not vlog, I totally understand. You deserve time to yourselves. Everyone needs to regenerate 🦋

Adam I can't even imagine what toll it takes on you & Sherry with the work you do. I think it's a great switch in your mind to put some rest & relaxation in your life as a big priority. Angels on earth the both of you! You don't have to give up anything just slow your pace enough to have more rest & peace for yourselves. I remember us being quite tired on our first cruise we didn't want to miss a thing but next cruise we said let's have a vacation lol

So happy you found some peace. I have been unplugging for years now also. It really does make a difference. I love Disney but have found that they are no longer fun vacations but too much work. We have stopped going to the parks because of stress. We prefer the cruise line because it is less stressful. Although that seems to be changing also. Disney wants you plugged into your phone 24/7. Not relaxing.
I think what you realized in Fuji was that everyone should experience what you were feeling and you have the ability to do it. I appreciate your work and your channel.
Thoroughly enjoyed the Fiji series, every detail of it. I'm Fijian living in San Francisco and have never even been to Denarau 😁😁 though I used to work for Fiji Airways right there in Nadi. Glad you guys enjoyed small Fiji. If there's next time, I recommend an island resort in the Mamanucas at least for a week. I was so wishing that you guys stop by the Fiji Airways Airport Lounge before boarding .... supposedly one of the best ( if not THE best in the whole of the Pacific ! )

Ha! Nope :) we do also own a media and marketing company and one of our clients puts on music festivals, so that’s where I travel for that, but my main full time job is as the executive director of the nonprofit
