Discover Nadi, Fiji! Temple, Markets, Viseisei Village, Garden of the Sleeping Giant

- Before we arrived in Fiji we booked a Discover Nadi tour that took us to some of the most known places in the area. We got to visit the Sri Siva Subramaniya temple, the largest Hindu temple in the pacific. The Nadi Produce / Farmers market where we tried Kava for the first time, along with purchasing some amazing fresh fruit. We visited Viseisei Village, known as the oldest settlement in Fiji, and the landing place of the first Fijians. We also visited the Garden of the Sleeping Giant, an amazingly lush orchid garden with over 2,000 variants of orchids and countless other flowers and lush greenery.
Overall, this was an amazing day getting to experience more of the area and culture.

It is also because of you that my family went on our first cruise end of September 2022. It was with carnival and we absolutely fell in love and will be doing more. First off, Sherry(Shari? SP?) 's dress is gorgeous!!! I love how respectful you are!! I would love to see Fiji some day. That much fruit might only last me a couple days lol... That walk in the Garden of the sleeping giant is absolutely beautiful!! The village was very cool!! The tour seemed like a GREAT value ,d and an awesome experience!!

You were so close to Australia 🇦🇺 it’s a shame you weren’t able to visit us. I promise you will love it. A lot of Aussies visit Fiji because it’s so close to us. Melbourne is lovely but whenever my friends visit me from USA they always prefer Queensland. There’s so much more to do and see in Queensland so I recommend that you definitely visit us. I live north of Brisbane but the Gold Coast is very popular. I prefer the Sunshine Coast.
And you can enjoy the tour with no worries about getting lost or enjoying a drink etc. Great to see the village tour guide wearing traditional dress. Hope u enjoyed your anniversary too.
That tour was great, being able to see all of those places and as you said no hassle of having to deal with finding them yourselves if you had rented a car or trusting a taxi driver to get you there as well. That garden was stunning with all the blooms. Though I don't know how I would've controlled myself in the market with all of that fruit. I would've had way more in the bag then you had. lol

The others on our tour were sort of on a last minute holiday to Fiji, so I’m not sure if they knew about the gifts for the school or not
