    Thanks for all the kind comments ❤ 🔥 I made this video purely to see the best performance that I can get from both camera. I cant reply to everyone as I have gotten busy with quite a few commercial projects recently.
    Anyway both cameras are awesome ✨🎉

    The benefit of the P3 is just the ease of use and all-in-one form factor. Many folks can benefit from that for very little cost. The other cameras like a ZV-E10 will always allow the most flexibility and in almost all situations give you better quality and specs, but with more cost and time (again, in general). All that said, content is still king and if a story, scene, action, or person is compelling enough, an old camcorder will do the trick.

    In my country (Greece) the zv-e10 combo you are using is exact double the price from Dji, while the standard zv-e10 with the stock lens cost exact the same money with Dji ( 699 euro for zv-e10 and Dji creator combo and 1525 euro for the zv-e10, the Viltrox 13mm and M3 gimbal combo). So, for 699 i think the Dji creator combo is a much better choice than the old zv'e10 with the stock lens specially if your budget is quiet tight. Plus is way more pocketable than Sony's combo. Comparing the footage from the excellent video you created and the prices, the Dji is a clear winner !!

    I don't pull the body out of the case but pulling the case apart so the body pop out, an important tip for owners preventing monitor damage!
    DJI POCKET 3 has elevated itself to such position that it beats DSLR/Mirrorless cameras in many key areas considering price point. Imagine if, the next generation of the Dji pocket 3 makes improvements in focal length ( addition of 85mm, 35mm as an attachment) backed by bigger sensor with better dynamic range, then the game is over for big camera industries like Canon, Sony, Nikon etc, as the form factor alone is so awesome & practical.

I'm about to pull the trigger on the DJI O3, but although bokeh isn't everything, i do notice the more shallow dof on the sony camera. with your story telling and editing skills, i think if you used anything even a phone it'll come out great!

    This is like comparing iphone and camera. Camera give more detail and deeper color after grading. For vlogging iphone and dji pocket is more prefer for smoother skin and brighter feel because majority social media and vlogger viewer wouldn’t care about quality. But if want too look the best and natural camera is still the way. I have this camera and I feel more confident looking at my self compare to iphone camera. For night video this dji is quite close after grading

    The Sony needs a Gimbal and a Lens, while the pocket is much smaller,
    lighter, cheaper. Also its a much better feeling to walk around with

      The portability is incredible, but with that combo you're effectively getting a 20mm f/5.4 and a 20mm f/1.8, do you need both? :) - I do find the f/5.4 equiv in light gathering and depth of field somewhat limiting on the pocket3 despite loving the form factor.

    after color grading they're almost the same. you don't need an expensive lens and a gimbal on the PO3. the Sony takes the edge only ever so slightly for picture quality but you still need a good gimbal for stability. this for cost performance and portability the DJI Pocket 3 is clearly superior.

    Wow... KL has changed a lot. I was last there in 2019 for 36 hours.
    I like P3 because of its gimbal. If it is for the details, I'll stick to my ZV-E1 and A7IV. Sometimes, I just want a camera that I can quickly take out of my pocket and start recording, especially when in the public. Besides, P3 has gone way better than Pocket 2, in terms of "colour" and clarity. It used to be a white sky (overexposure) when you were talking to the camera due to the small sensor trying to expose your face correctly. For what it is, the camera is brilliant and practical, though I'd wish that DJI used D-log instead of D-log M.
    What I am really waiting for is for the GoPro to use a 1-inch sensor.

    Sony ZV-E10 is sharper and has a great depth of field that the OSMO lacks. The footage from OSMO appears brighter because it elevates the shadows. However, to achieve this, it must apply a noise reduction filter, which consequently softens the details.

    Pocket3 is 13mm f/4 APS-C equivalent. The main question is how often would you choose to film talking head and other type of content on your ZV-E10 at 13mm f/4? :)
    That's a bit of a double edged sword on the Pocket3 (and other small cameras like the iPhone), sometimes you want f/10 for landscapes or to get nice sunstars or for macro. Sometimes you want to open up that aperture to get better object/subject separation and low light. But with Osmo you're stuck at f/4 forever, so you're not just limited on the focal length, but on the aperture too.
    This is actually why I personally went to the ZV-E1 from APS-C previously, the f/2.8 zooms on APS-C are huge and heavy and in terms of light gathering and shallow depth of field, the f/4 zooms on full frame beat them while being smaller, lighter and cheaper.

      ZV-E10 is on F1.4. DJI is always fixed at F2.0;
      Both are at its lowest f-stop to produce optimal low light image quality.
      For info, DJI doesn’t show its ISO, u can only have it set as a range 50-3,200 / 50-6,400;
      Hope this answer ur question.

    The Sony setup produces much better results but…it costs twice as much! The pocket 3 is simply the best solution for “pro amateur” users; the Sony for semi professionals that need detail even on already rather high ISO. One inch is still small for videography, what DJI did with the sensor is already fantastic but it can’t compete in a much bigger and expensive league.

    I don’t think this is a fair comparison due to the fact that you’re using a lens at 1.4 whereas the pocket 3 is fixed at 2.0 as far as low light performance though, imo they’re both incredible but overall pocket 3 for me is the winner. The difference is marginal and the pocket 3’s clear advantage here is the compactness of it, the built in gimbal and some cool features most mirrorless cameras don’t have. At the end of the day it’ll depend on the creator’s preference.
    Great video nonetheless 🙌🏼

      That is the question though isn't it, the Pocket 3 is 13mm f/4 APS-C equivalent in both light gathering and depth of field, so the question is how often would you choose to use 13mm f/4 on the zv-e10? --- I personally love the 13mm (20mm full frame equivalent), but f/4 does leave me wanting in certain situations.

    Good video. Unless you are just documenting and IQ is unimportant, you should manually set the ISO to the native ISO for the best IQ. That goes for all cameras… Pocket 3 included. Do that and you’ll see there’s nothing between these two cameras. Also, turn off the in camera noise reduction… it just makes the footage mushy… and the in camera sharpening. Both should be set to -2.
    The real difference will be 8-bit vs 10-bit and size/weight. I tried to love the idea of traveling everywhere with a small gimbal and dedicated camera… but that didn’t work out too well. Ymmv.

      Hey, photography, you need a good APSC camera like ZV-E10 to zoom in and out.
      Cinematic reels can be achieve on ZV-E10 ; but you need to learn how to stabilise it.
      Pocket 3 is easy to produce cinematic footage bcs of built-in gimbal and 4k 60/120fps.
      Since photo is more important, you can get ZV-E10 with 30/35mm f1.8 lens. It can produce way better bokeh than pocket 3

    At minute 8:11, I thought the subject can be made focused, while the background is bokeh? Or it can’t be done under low-light setting?

    I think it would be great if you tested them in really low light, out of the city. That would really challenge the cameras. City lighting is so bright these days I'm not even sure if it can be called low light.

    Thanks for this video. Answered a lot of my questions. If you had to choose between Sigma 16mm f1.4 and Viltrox 13mm f1.4, which would you go for?

      Hi Jason, thanks. I made this video because I was very curious too. I will still pick the Viltrox 13mm, because it is wider and easier to shoot landscape, vlog. I also bought it to use the active stabilisation in zve10 which has x1.4 crop.

      The Viltrox 13mm is my favourite lens period, I loved it so much on APS-C I bought the Viltrox 16mm f/1.8 (10mm f/1.2 APS-C equivalent) for my full frame. The "red" label lenses from Viltrox are just magical.

    the most important that what kind of lens he uses on Sony. Probably it’s Sigma 16mm f1.4 and only this lens cost 500$ almost like DJI P3.
