    I'd like to see these compared to conventional filters on a flow bench as well as filtering efficiency and efficacy. I'd also like to see these results on new filters as well as a few that have been used for tens of thousands of miles and cleanings.

    The reusable filters look nice but the stock filters clean oil better. I have been using toilet paper filters since 1963. Any good filter has oil lines going to it. There are a lot of choices these days. My old Honda 500 Custom had a Frantz oil cleaner upside down behind a saddle bag.. I converted the canister full flow filter to take a Ford spin on. I could see using the pretty filter with a filter that actually cleans oil

      It's well worth it and pays for itself. It filters to a lower micron level that the off the shelf filters, has the magnet inside to catch metal shavings, and the fin design helps cool the oil. I just had one installed on a rebuilt bike. Doing the first breaking oil change. 😍

      @@bobkinney2430 did u use the same gasket or did u replace it?

  • @ralphwood8818

    Filters that have lower flow resistance are either very large or dont clean oil as well. The Australian Jackmaster Classic on my Pontiac Torrent is a 1 micron filter. When the oil is hot it cleans about 3/4 quart a minute. You cant have a full flow filter that cleans oil. I have seen bypass filters on Harleys. Im not familiar with Harleys. My old Honda was the same as a car.

  • @kevinking3402
    @kevinking3402 10 месяцев назад +1

    Benefits he didn’t hit on, micron rating is 30, better than the cans, flow rate is far superior to a can, they cool your oil better, you get to actually see how you engine is wearing, cold flow on a can instantly bypasses, flooding your engine with unfiltered oil, these don’t because of the lack of restriction, and the Flo is so much easier to remove. They don’t have anti drainback because the filter is downstream from the engine. Ride safe

      Gasoline is a good product to clean with, but unfortunately it also is very flammable, and the fumes are not good for you. With caution you will probably get away with it, but I would never recommend it. One cup of gasoline, has about the same explosive force as a dynamite.. Just a thought..

      Exactly. When I first saw it, I thought it would have a wet filter replacement. I'm not into anything reusable, when it comes to filtering the most important thing in the motor.
