- Today we explore the theory that Abigail is secretly the wizards daughter! The further we got into this investigation, the more we uncovered.. We don't get much information until we get to about 8 heart friendship with the necessary people.. Stardew valley gameplay with my commentary as always!

1) Caroline tells you Abigail's natural hair color is chestnut brown, and that Abigail dyes her hair.
2) At some point Abigail asks you what color she should dye her hair next. But later, she mentions once she died her hair purple, it mysteriously hasn't faded even though its been forever.
3) Sometimes Abigail stands near the wizard's tower.
4) Abigail is a palm reader, and the Wizard can see your future. Both mystical abilities?
4) The Wizard made a 'mistake' that made his witch wife leave him in anger and jealousy..... cheated on the witch with Caroline?

There is even more. Caroline also says that she would prefer it if Abigail would stop colouring her hair and that Abigail's real hair colour would be a brown-blond like that of her grandmother. Pierre says during an event as well that he would like her to stop colouring her hair but if you get really close to Abigail she admits to you that she hasn't coloured her hair for years. Apparently, even she suspects that she is not Pierres daughter and therefore keeps that lie up.
Another thing you have missed is that the wizard will ask you at some point to get the magic ink back from the witch. She tells you that he was married to her for many years until he made a "mistake", which made her feel so betrayed and jealous that she turned green and started cursing everything. So obviously the wizard and Caroline have both cheated on their partners but Caroline keeps fooling Pierre, that poor bastard.
Poor, poor, oblivious Pierre. Then again his suspicions are clearly getting the better of him if he's keeping drugs a secret from his wife.
Alexa König maybe caroline secretly dyes abby's hair brown so it'd look like Pierre's. And then the brown fades away to Purple and then Pierre suspects Abby to dye her hair purple.
Damian Freeman, If you are referring to the scene in which you find something in his bedroom, that wasn't drugs but money. Why would a man hide money from his own wife? That's just another hint that he doesn't trust her and I would assume, wants to be prepared for the case that his suspicions are coming out to be true.

I believe the Wizard and his wife ( the witch with all the goblins) split because the wizard cheated on her with Caroline while Caroline was cheating on Pierre with the wizard. I think it would be wicked cool to have a unique DLC of sorts that looks into Abigail being the wizards daughter and discovering her own arcane abilities

Four pieces of evidence, actually. Abigail comments on how she doesn't actually remember how long ago she dyed her hair purple, and how it just never seems to grow out and need to be re-dyed. You just missed that one.
To be fair, nothing in this game changes though. And if you take that into the other dialogue where she has brown hair, it makes it seem more likely that she's Pierre's daughter, since the resemblence is more strongly associated there.
Then again, it would need some other way of explaining the "secert walks".
Edit: Where Caroline says Abigail's original hair colour is brown.

That leads me to believe it was Caroline's mother and not Pierre's. Otherwise she would have just said Pierre's hair.

The wizard does spill even more info when you have to go and get something of his from his ex's house aka the witch. He talks about his wife turning into the green witch because he "made a mistake."
While Caroline does mention that Abigail's hair is naturally brown like Pierre's an she dyes it, Abigal also says at some point that she can't remember the last time she had to touch up her hair dye and isn't that weird?

Abigail will mention that her hair isn't naturally purple. She says she stopped dying it after a while but now it seems to naturally grow in purple, implying the color is magic in nature.
Also Abigail is interested in the arcane arts she owns a ouija board (its used in one of her cutscenes) she talked to you about reading your palm she’s interested in the graveyard (like more than is probably healthy) all things the wizard also enjoys (probably) just a little more evidence to help back this theory up

A Caroline 4 heart dialogue is “Abby has always had a strange interest in the occult. I wonder where she gets it from.”
Maybe Caroline is his daughter and the wizard is a grandfather!

I feel like it's all a diversion, and Penny is actually the wizard's daughter. In one of her dialogues, she says the fall always makes her sad, because that's when her father left. And then Pam says that she made a mistake once, and she's been cursed because of it. Penny has green eyes, as well, while Pam has brown eyes. I feel like it's a part of that curse, as if the witch tried to turn the child green as she was...
Or maybe I'm just reading too much into it! :P

I think you're barking up the wrong tree. For Penny's father to "leave" her within her memory, then the Wizard (who you assume her father) would know for certain Penny is his daughter. In addition, Pam is a mighty monster, but she is no Witch.
Additionally, Pam's "curse" is more likely her alcoholism borne from depression over her break-up.
Penny/Pam are more likely just another broken home in the valley. Wizard/Witch/Caroline seems to be the canon connection.

vinicius, Julia meant in dialog. Caroline says something about Abigail's original hair color, and Abigail talks about redyeing her hair and asks your opinion on the matter.
She also says its been forever since shes dyed her hair so I theorize that her hair was brown but happened to turn purple around the time she dyed it purple cause magic hair changes color i guess

Your children never grow up, you or the NPCS never grow up. Nothing really changes lol
if you dye it once, the color either fades or the hair gets longer and you see its natural color growing out. Abigail hasn't dyed her hair since the first time a while ago, so it should have grown long enough to do either of those when we meet her. Since it hasn't, it's safe to assume her hair has changed its natural color to purple, rather than the dye not fading.
The whole thing about her hair not needing re-dying is actually part of her post-marriage dialogue. ~That's why people think the purple hair is significant. Yes, she had chestnut brown hair originally, but the game actually makes a point of the fact that once her hair was turned purple it mysteriously stayed that way.

caroline isn’t the witch. the wizard was married to the witch but she left him presumably cause she found out he banged caroline, so abigail is the wizard’s and caroline’s daughter
And that might explain why jas has the dad (or grandfather) wedged under the bed in her dollhouse. She also wears a lot of purple.

There is also a piece of dialogue that comes from Abigail, that states that she dyed her hair a long time ago, but it never faded away. It just stayed purple.

It is possibly though that maybe she was born with Caroline's hair color, but after dyed purple her bloodline accepted that as her 'true' color, as it hasn't faded from what she said for a long time.

As a Canadian we absolutely pay water bills. I'm renting currently and water is included in the lease agreement in my case, but if you owned a home you would absolutely pay water. I don't understand DF's apparent confusion.

Caroline could also possibly be the Wizard's daughter given that he is pretty old, and perhaps Abigail's unique qualities (such as dying her hair and then not needing to touch it up) could be a result of being related to the Wizard through her mother. Meh, I'm just speculating though.

There's a mountain of evidence for the daughter being Abigail (including a bunch of stuff DF didn't show in this video), but with Jas all you've got is purple hair.

On the wiki it tells you all the dialogue that people will say in-game.
Caroline has some dialogue about how she wishes Abigail would stop dying her hair purple. But Abigail has dialogue talking about how she only dyed her hair once, and it’s just stayed purple ever since. Sound wizardy

I Have a theory. Near wizard's tower sometimes stays a cottage (Sorry if I spell it incorrect) with a gren hair girl, and as we know only one who has green hair in Pelican Town is Caroline and that girl. Maybe that girl is Caroline's mother or something?

I totally believe that Abigail is the Wizard's daughter. Plus I have another idea, maybe Penny is Gus' daughter. Why else would Gus constantly let Pam get beer on credit to the point where he is losing money? The fact that he's too scared to ask her to pay her tab says there may be other reasons. While yes this is possible here a few things to bring up.
One Abigail actually dyes her hair so saying they both have purple hair is not really an argument. I actually believe this theory in a way though because presumably Caroline also dyes her hair so possibly to look like her fathers Abigail dyes her hair purple
Two ever wonder why the witch has that shrine that kills annoying children. Maybe the witch broke up with the wizard and afterwards Caroline and the wizard had a child. The witch might be trying to murder Abigail with black magic (yay)
Three the mines exist and it seems the wizard knows about them. He like purple mushrooms after all. He also has those quests for you to do where to go to the mines and kill things

But there's dialogue with Abigail (in marriage I believe) where she tells you she hasn't had to actually die her hair for a very long time, meaning it's stayed purple without her having to do anything. There's also Abigail's fascination with the occult and mystical (which Caroline comments on), and another comment from the wizard about the witch leaving him because of a mistake he made (like maybe cheating on her with Caroline?). That with the stuff DF points out in the video and it's a very strong case for the wizard being her father.

I believe there's some dialogue where Abigail asks you what color should she dye her hair next and you get to choose which color... also I think (lul again I think) that Caroline complains about Abigail constantly dying her hair purple and says she used to have "beautiful light brown hair" something along those lines
I always theorized that Jazz was the Wizard's daughter since 1) she has purple hair and 2) we never see her dad

All those hints could be a wrong track. Jas or Emily are other and maybe better candidates for the wizards daughter.
Edit: Ok how about this: Emily is the Wizard's daughter actually. Jas' hair is because some in her family happen to have purple hair - just like her cousin Shane. And guess what - Shane is also Abby's father! That's why her hair is purple and that's what triggers all the dialogue in her family about her maybe not being Pierre's daughter.
I want Abigail to find out that her real father is the wizard, then after a wild night of trying magic spells, comes back home and admits that she also needs a normal dad to balance out the supernatural. That would be a heartwarming moment.
