- Since Pierre is willing to take other peoples amazing products and call them his own, I thought it would be fun to see just how far we could take this idea. It seems to only work with edible items so that means only a few merchants. If you sell Marnie milk, Pierre will do his this. Stardew Valley gameplay with my commentary as always!

Someone needs to make DF into an NPC with a mod. With a house full of everyone’s kids. His dialog would be like “Do you have a Prismatic Shard? I kinda need one...”

He's the rich dude who lives in the town and for some reason every marryable person had a fling with him and he has two kids and a flock of doves roosting in his yard.

13:19 That Pierre can just casually drop ~6.3 million gold on wine is the real questionable part of all of this. He sure as hell can't be anywhere near financial difficulty if he's making those kinds of investments.

the developer should add a thing where the player can just expose pierre after a while or at least a dialogue when the npcs are talking about the product you sold to pierre being his and not yours (if its not in the game yet)

I sold him 999 Iridium quality melons and the townspeople still said they were disgusting. So I installed the MOD where you can turn the NPC's to seeds. Let's see what they have to say about my crops now.

The dwarf buys gems if I remember right. I go to Krobus mostly for the iridium sprinklers on Fridays, so I've never tried selling stuff to him.

Where does Pierre get all this money to buy so much product from you and other merchants while being a small town general store owner struggling to stay afloat vs the big brand store?

@@Ritsuka55 With whatever the item spawning mod is you might be able to get it in your inventory that way. I believe you can sort of get stardrops in your inventory with it.

there needs to be a way to expose Pierre's lies to the townfolk, and have something happen because of it. to steal my hard work is one thing, but to steal my hard work in a video game is too far.

It would be interesting to see what happens when you sell bulk items to JoJo mart.
Guessing similar dialog, but Pierre won't be able to take credit. JoJo mart might. Also what is the minimum limit of bulk you have to sell before townsfolk comment on it? Does it need to be 1000 items? Cause if you sell less, there should be less chance of people complaining about it being off or rotten. Just a thought.

Hey, considering how much you like profit and experiments to compare crop profit, I have an experiment idea for you. What if instead of the tried and true farm crops for each season, you planted instead the crafted seasonal seeds? I am sure this would not be worth attempting without botanist, so maybe a year 2 comparison. I was just wondering if the potential huge field of iridium crops could out-pace the standard seasonal crops or even the ancient fruit or gem berries?
I was just impressed that when i focused on farming only the winter roots, i made more money than any other season my first year. This may be due to my terrible play-style, but I grew all the best crops throughout the year (berries) and i never came close to the profit i pulled in during winter. and i only had botanist for 2/3 of the winter.
Anyway, just a thought. Love your videos, thanks for all the work and mistakes you make for us.
