- This is what happens when a good idea goes too far! After gaining the ability to plant stuff in town, I decide it would be a good idea to use every possible space within the map to plant all sorts of crops. Problems arise, things happen but eventually I get a really cool result. Stardew Valley gameplay with my commentary as always!

Well when people make a game with every single character have There own personality and heart warming development, it can really get to you.

The only reason i don't divorce people is because (If I don't have cheats on)1:Wasted all that time 2:The gold.But it is pretty rewarding for them to get pissed at you! If i have cheats on..... That's a whole different story, because I can marry, have kids, divorce, see them for reaction, grind them up,turn the kids into doves and wipe their memory and repeat! No, i really don't care, the online reason I married Sebby first is because I feel pity for him and so he can watch me marry everyone else!(even Robin lol.)

You can plant trees in very odd places without mods, in winter. Random worms everywhere, leaving the ground hoed. I’m making the enchanted woods populated with regular trees. The slimes hate me xD

@@tcuty1059 i think in coding they would be seen as different items. You can copy or "instance" something, which means that it borrows code and art for whatever you want to copy, but instancing still takes up memory. stardew is a pretty small game so 10.000 crops with no movement runs fine but there's been a few times were 10.000 or more DROPPED items do weird things to the game. And i think some of the weird animal things he did also make it lag pretty bad. I think it just depends on how much code each "item" has. (a pig would probably have a lot more then corn, and corn that needs to react to a magnet might possibly have more code then the static corn crop you harvest it from)
that's just a guess though.

Either crops aren't affected by the seasons in town, or one of DFs mods makes planting in the wrong season possible.

wheat actually is my favorite crop, super cheap to buy, grows really fast, you get hay to feed your animals, and you can make beer, which takes a day to brew and sells very well

A summary of DF's ideas: thinks it won't take effort but then it does.
Imagine how terrifying that would be, like you walk into town and a blue berry rolls to your feet, then you swerve quickly to doge a flying corn, and then your look into the distance and see a giant swarm of crops heading for you.
I love how after he figured out what was wrong you can LITERALLY HEAR HIM LIKE FACE PALMING OUT OF FRUSTRATION/DEFEAT

What are you doing with this game is not a just play, is art.
Looks like you need the Chests Everywhere mod that lets you access the shipping bin and any chests you own from anywhere. That way you don't have to keep going back to the farm to drop stuff off.

If you expect multiple trips to the shipping bin you could install 'chests anywhere' that allows you to access any chest, including the shipping bin, with one tab on a button. that way you don't have to go back and forth.
