It's funny how an innocent farming game has so much stuff that can be abused for the player's benefit, but in the long run these things aren't more useful than the straight and narrow path. This video taught me that basically everything in Stardew Valley has a cause and effect. Great video!
A game with lots of stuff to do and ways to be enjoyed = more stress. A game meant to relax you and played at a slow pace causes prolonged stress which leads to burnout.

@@bashfulcookie Don't know if they changed getting hay out of the silo or not, but if you have a farm house (coop, barn etc.) you can take hay from the feeding box until your silos are empty. To do this, you need spaces on the feeding bench that doesn't have hay on it. fx. you go to take hay out of the silo to feed your chicks. you get 1 hay at a time pr animal you have. But you can keep going 'forever' if you don't put the hay on the bench for your animals ^^ Again; you just need one empty space where you would put hay for your animals. Then you can empty your silos into your inventory, and then keep it in a chest.

Story time: My favorite professor would lecture in the same tone the entire class and he had an excellent accent so you got lulled into just vibing, but every now and then he'd slip in a joke in the same tone so you only really Got It if you were Really paying attention and that made it even funnier... "crop circles in Elliot's yard" has the EXACT same vibes it was so funny
That sounds almost exactly like a professor I had! Mine, instead of telling jokes, would have barely disguised sarcasm and disbelief in his voice but he talked the exact same way you describe! It made it hard for others to pick up that he totally thought some of the in/famous psych people he was teaching about were absolutely bogus. 😂 It was my favorite part about him. That and his pierced ears with small hoops and bands in the shell of his ear. He always struck me as a rebel, especially since he was quite old (pierced ears for a man probably wasn't anywhere near the norm then).
I would love to see how long it takes to marry the character with the next closest birthday: Shane I've gotten 7 hearts with him before the flower dance as a personal record just by giving him beer. I'm curious to see how long it would take to marry him, and if you could manage before spring ends.

There is something almost eldritch about this run in the traditional sense of the word. The strange jerky way you move, the way you just know something is going to happen, the random patterns of digging, the odd crop harvests, the way you learn or meet people and desperate avoid certain outcomes. It's nearly faustian how you use it to profit, but more than that, how all the things in the world (including the money) aide you in making a particular woman (chosen for her specific birthday) fall in love with you... of course just so you can make a video breaking it down.
"At least they can talk to each other" Demetrius starts feeding the pet mushrooms and fruit, eventually adopts it, names it Batty after the farmer who seems to be slightly insane.
This is incredible. I'm very impressed at the sheer amount of knowledge of the game's mechanics here. There's times where I wish I could manipulate game mechanics like that, since I'm one of those people that enjoy pushing the boundary on game mechanics and finding/using glitches or the in-game mechanics to break the game without using cheats.
This should be a speedrun category, sort of a low% style thing where number of days trumps the time but within the same number of days it’s about how fast it can be done

It's very interesting that a stutter-step doesn't count as an actual "step taken" according to your Step Counter mod. Have you created a MOD or would you know of a MOD in existence that keeps track of the total number of tiles that have been tilled while playing the game? Such a MOD would go along great with your Stardew Map Predictor.

There is something almost eldritch about this run in the traditional sense of the word.
The strange jerky way you move, the way you just know something is going to happen, the random patterns of digging, the odd crop harvests, the way you learn or meet people and desperate avoid certain outcomes.
It's nearly faustian how you use it to profit, but more than that, how all the things in the world (including the money) aide you in making a particular woman (chosen for her specific birthday) fall in love with you... of course just so you can make a video breaking it down.

This is incredible. I'm very impressed at the sheer amount of knowledge of the game's mechanics here. There's times where I wish I could manipulate game mechanics like that, since I'm one of those people that enjoy pushing the boundary on game mechanics and finding/using glitches or the in-game mechanics to break the game without using cheats.
