Cold Chisel - Showtime (Live 1977)

Thank you for 3000 subscribers! Here is a little-known recording of Showtime from a 2JJ radio broadcast on 29 March 1977, featuring a slower arrangement and different bridge. Showtime was written with resentment towards the band's early experiences within the Melbourne live scene. At a 1979 concert in NSW, Jimmy says to the crowd, 'I rang up the Prime Minister and he said it's true. Melbourne is the arsehole of Australia.'
For some reason, this song was omitted from the 'Live at the Wireless' digital release in 2011, and I'm uploading it so it can be heard by fans. If it later becomes commercially available I'll withdraw this video.
