This is an amazing song in every way, the lyrics (of course !) the melody, the bigness and the simplicity, and to think I only heard it for the first time on Rockwiz !! This should be No 1 all over the world, just magic, made me cry and feel really overwhelmed after the first chorus............thank God for Don Walker !
I love this song... If anyone's seen the movie "Dawn 'till Dusk", for me, this is the song equivalent. Before you know what's going on, you're 20 years down the road with the characters in the song.... It sucks you in and takes you on a trip, and not the one you were expecting.. A not only Australian, but a world class treasure, Don Walker... :-)
Love Don, love the song. Really love the lyrics. I thought, at first, that they seemed a bit creepy, but then I realized that they weren't, because if so, he wouldn't be singing them. Its just .Don, being so disarmingly raw and honest. As he himself once said: "All young girls are beautiful when you're old".
