    I discovered Cold Chisel through Farnam's (LRB?) cover of this and never turned back. The best moment of this song is always that moment where Jimmy takes over the vocals, and the contrast in his and Moss's voice or in this case Farnham's. So I'm not really a fan of him being introduced in the middle of the song as thr audience drowns it out.

    • @markmark5269
      @markmark5269 Год назад

      Because they're not that great, but it seems to be Australian law that you can't say a bad thing about John "The Screech" Farnham, but the LRB record sales, or lack of them, told the true story. Lucky to get a couple of brilliant songs on Whispering Jack that would have been hits for anyone, but if you're honest, and you clearly won't be, he has had middle of the road success in his career otherwise. Capitol Records did NOT want Farnham as LRB's singer.
      Barnes is just a screamer, just happens that the music was written specifically for his voice.
