I attempted this recipe last month with no success since the pot was “burned food”. I always get that as a result. This time around, I deglazed the pot but then emptied everything into a different pot, cleaned it out and then added the rice and liquid back in. Came out perfect! Thanks!
That’s exactly what the recipe calls for on her website. She also wrote if you get a burn notice shut off, wait for a natural release and it would still come out perfect. She specified to deglaze a few times because not doing so would cause a burn notice ❤

Made this just now and OH MY GOD SO GOOD! Very easy and foolproof too. I usually manage to botch a lot of recipes, but even I couldn’t mess this recipe up. Just tried this tonight with a slightly diff ent variation on seasoning - cracking recipe. 100% recommend and works so well with medium grain white rice and boneless skinless chicken thighs and some spring onions instead of onion and the addition of bok Choi. Super super fast to put together and delicious for my family. Saved this one!!!
I used your technique but added nandos spice mix, red peppers, onions with veg stock and basmati. The texture was amazing. Thanks for this. All done in about 30 mins

I will try this...sauteing chicken for six minutes probably makes sure it's done before its cooked with the rice..but I was thinking you could cook the chicken partially in water with seasonings and then finish it off with the rice?
Was just given an instant pot. My Avo had one that was on the stove pressure cooker, it blew up..boiled dinner and linguine was everywhere. Scared whitless!
Hello Sia, apologies if this is coming late. You can double the ingredients, although I wouldn't recommend stacking the chicken thighs on top of one another so they cook evenly. You do not need to double the time. Do let me know when you try it. Thanks

My ovens broken so I'm finally pulling out my instant pot again. This is amazing! My kid does not eat mushy bland dump and go recipes and you didn't talk endlessly about nothing for 20 minutes! So glad I found this recipe!!!
