For the closure I slipped stitched the inside strand of each side(only one strand each side) and at the end before fastening off I chained 8 and then fastened off and weaved in ends. It makes for a flatter and more invisible seam and you don't have to have so many add-ons and fasten off places. Thank you for the awesome video and clear instructions. Now I don't know which I like better; this way to make a pot holder or the thermal stitch. 😄 Thanks again and happy crocheting.
Magical!! Thanks for the very easy instructions!! Someone was trying to tell me how this works at the county fair yesterday and I was not following her very well. Now I know what my next car ride project will be! Thanks again!
I had worked this pattern many years ago an had forgotten about it. Thank you for reminding me of a great pattern. Will continue to see what cool things you post.
Am I glad I found you here! I have crocheted for quite a while...but just basic things. I was looking for a better explanation of the magic square pot holder, and I swear I was going crazy with other explanations. I am just so happy you are so great at explaining! Now I am here to stay!
I want I want to do I know how to do the art that way you put it together and so did I wasn't watching too close but I hope I can get it done again or could you please text me thank you very much hun very beautiful pot holder I used to make bedroom slippers like that just keep going around and put a drink through it
I forgot to tell you I asked a question earlier, about weight 5 for the magic square potholder. I am having trouble making it comes out square. I have been chaining 25. But it doesn't come out square. My friends and family prefer the weight 5 yarn potholder. Can you help me figure out how many chains to make it square. If I go any longer chain it is too large. Thank you so much
I tried to follow a post on Pinterest. What a experience . it did not turn out. I am trying your video. . I do have question. You say tie off after you finish. Do you have a trick on how to do it?
I haven’t seen this video in quite some time, but I think I just weave in the ends. Everyone has a different method of tying off usually thank you so much for watching.
no just on that first row to enable the potholder to work up in the round the 3 sts at each end are just create the corner to let your work start working upwards easily

How many rows did you do before it met in the middle and exactly what does meet in the middle mean.
Thank you thank you. I did it turn out pretty good

Is bamboo ok too besides cotton !
Thank you for a wonderful instruction video. I have a question, what is the purpose of the stitch holder?
I thought the same thing.
To mark the rounds so you don't lose track

👍♥️♥️♥️Thank you
How many rows did you do before it met in middle?
so do we keep adding 3 stitches in that middle stitch of the first end in every row. you went to folding before i saw if that was the case.
I was wondering this also

I have made these but the "closing" just never looked right. Your closing method works the best & looks perfect. thanks for sharing Oneazgrandma
