      @@ThisPixieCreates I’m planning on making at least pot holders, maybe stuffed animals as well. I want to put my talent to money for my family. I usually give the potholders away. Which as a Christian I should give to others.

I have made four for my stepdaughter n have recently discovered she wants a drawer full, 🤯. Sooo......i subbed for this reason. Lol. I know i can find patterns but this helps remind me to get them made thru the year. Thats my story n im sticking to it, 😋🥰 < Hugs
    Edit to add: she has extra deep drawers too in kitchen. 😆

    I wonder how this would look in 3 colors. Red White & Blue or Christmas colors

    • @ThisPixieCreates
      @ThisPixieCreates  Год назад +1

      One member in our crochet along facebook group, used red, white, and blue for her pot holder, and it turned out amazing. I think Christmas colours would look just as pretty.
      If you want to see an example of the red, white, and blue, you can find it in our group: facebook.com/groups/crochetalongwithtpc/media. It's a few posts down. :)

    I completed my second one after numerous attempts. I think I finally can see where chain stitches are. The only problem is the back has a small gap in center where all four points should meet.

    • @ThisPixieCreates
      @ThisPixieCreates  Год назад +2

      That's awesome Cherie - congratulations on finishing and sticking with it. For the back, you can try using your yarn needle and tail to sew up that center gap. :)

      This is a great idea! I’ll add it to my to-do list and see if I can make something like that. 😊

    Like this design but I am having so much trouble with this. I tried marking the chain one in between but just not working for me.

    • @ThisPixieCreates
      @ThisPixieCreates  Год назад +3

      Hi Cherie, you can try practicing the first few rounds with a bulkier yarn and a larger hook, so that you can see your stitches and get the hang of the stitch placement. It can be hard to see and do when just starting with thin cotton yarn.

    How many cm or inches square is the big square B4 you seam together?

    • @ThisPixieCreates
      @ThisPixieCreates  18 дней назад

      Great question! It's 11" wide x 11" wide, and measures 15" along the diagonal, before it's seamed. I hope this helps! :)

    • @ThisPixieCreates

      Hi Sabrina, absolutely! You can make it one colour; the only difference will be that you don't see the diamond/striped design. :)

    I do wish you had shown where to put the sticth marker in the tutorial 🤔

    • @ThisPixieCreates
      @ThisPixieCreates  Год назад +3

      For Rnd 1, Ch 1, and sc in the magic ring. Ch 1, and mark this ch with a stitch marker. Sc, ch 1 (mark), sc, ch 1 (mark), sc, ch 1 (mark).
      For Rnd 2 and onward, when you are making your corner stitches, make a sc, ch 1 (mark), sc, ch 1 in the same corner sp. I hope this helps!
