Works good. I convert my Stevens to centerfire using the 25 Hornet. Much easier to reload. However if you rechamber to 25 Hornet don't use the 25 Hornet smokeless load. BLACK POWDER ONLY.
27 ramset works too with a .250-252 round ball or pellet pushed into the chamber just ahead of it. Sometimes the 27 needs a bushing on the rim. Local hardware or tool store sells the ramsets with no license required to purchase it.
Thanks Steve this video is a excellent demonstration of how you convert your brass to keep your old rim fires shooting. Well done sir

Thanks a bunch. as a new owner of one of these rifles this is invaluable
Excellent tutorial applicable to many obsolete calibers
Top!🤝👍
Lot of work........but labor of love...be well.
This might be in the video, but I want to ask right up front; can you duplicate the power and balistics of 25 Rimfire with your conversion loads?
Yes. No problem, so long as I have a similar bullet.
Any chance of buying already made brass? I don't have anywhere near the equipment but just acquired a 25 stevens. The reloading part I can do
Sorry, but no. Check out Rocky Mountain Cartridge. They list some in stock a week or ago.
