    Woah boy, you have opened up a bunch of opportunities for me to buy old .25 rimfire rifles I dont really need because I can feed them.

    Hey Steve; I had a rolling block and a stevens 441/2 I believe both chambered for 25 rim fire. I ended up rechambering both rifles for the more modern 25-20. Now 25-20 is considered obsolete. I till load for them and shoot them, and they are neat rifles.

    Could the relief slot be cut all the way around to avoid having to clock the round in the chamber ?

    • @steveblancard5566
      @steveblancard5566  Год назад +1

      I don't think that would be a good idea. The solid rim supports the blank's edge. Without it, the unsupported rimfire blank could blow out. Where the relief cut is made, the firing pin pinches the blank's rim and helps to support it.

    do you use the 25 acp die to seat the bullets?
    what bullet do you prefer?

      I made my own seater die. There is a lot of great info in this thread on the ASSRA forum. Well worth joining the forum. forum.assra.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.pl?num=1519327136/0

    why did you take it out of the lathe to do the final drilling?

    • @steveblancard5566
      @steveblancard5566  Год назад +1

      I had my drill press already set up for the operation. But I also do them in the lathe.

    Rather than using a 25 ACP sizing die. would a 25-20 sizing die work?

    • @steveblancard5566
      @steveblancard5566  Год назад +1

      I don't think so. It is too tall for the 25 rrimfire case to reach.

      @@steveblancard5566 Upon further examination, it will not work. My bad and thanks for the answer.
