  • The views along this stretch of highway are crazy awesome. It seemed there were pull outs every few miles and we had to keep ourselves from stopping at all of them so we could get to our destination before dark.
We ended at a great camp at Harris Beach with a host of people we'd met along the way. After some time on the beach and a few card games with some new friends we joined in a communal pizza feast with the entire camp. It was the BEST way to spend our last night on the trail.
Make sure to tune in for day nine.

Just finished watching this series for the 2nd time. I'm planning to do this trip next month in the same amount of time. Rode from Lincoln City to Florence a few weeks ago as a test run and it was incredible. Interesting to note the detours you took. There's a couple long days there toward the end but I don't see a way around that. Thanks for filming and sharing this!

Hello, i am planning similar trip. Do you have to reserve campsites prior to the trip?

Peter Joonkyu Kang no. You don’t have to reserve them. When you get to the check in booth you just ask for a spot in the hiker/biker camp area. Sometimes you share the table and fire pit with other campers but many have their own spots. It’s $7 a person.
