What's going on guys! This is VinylicPuma, back with another Fallout 4 video and today, I figured I would go over 10 of what I think are some of the Most Fun and Most Entertaining Guns and Weapons in Fallout 4. Obviously, this video will be a little subjective, but I think you'll generally find that many of the weapons i'm about to go over are genuinely pretty fun to use and you should get quite a bit of enjoyment out of using them.

Yup, I thought it was ridiculous that there was no bow. I literally play Far Cry games with a knife and a bow. Its the ultimate stealth projectile weapon. It requires accounting for projectile drop over distance. Its always satisfying putting an arrow into somebodies head that never even sees you.
If I remember, they did try that in earlier games and it did not work well in vats. The incompatibility with the vats is what caused it to be dropped from fallout 3 and later games.
I must be the dumbest fallout 4 player ever because I had no idea you could use the shredder attachment on the minigun as a chainsaw if you didn't have ammo. Definitely gonna go try that right now

The second I saw the paddle ball as a weapon and could use weaponized paddle ball string, I spend so long grinding to get the strings just for the sake of knowing I would kill super mutant behemoths and mirelurk queens with rubber balls

I beat an ancient behemoth to death with a rolling pin on survival mode

My favorite weapon in terms of fun-ness is probably the Ripper with the Staggering effect.
The freezing Flamer that i got yesterday is the funniest one XD

The ripper from far harbor thats got a stagger effect legendary on is better then all base rippers in my opinion

1:30 the Deliverer is also great because it fires so fast. It’s practically an auto weapon, depending on how fast you can click

I think the Aeternus is one of the most fun weapons. A Gatling Laser with infinite ammo is just to much fun.
The ripper is one of the best weapons if you want to roleplay as a space marine :v

Striker, bottle cap mines, broadsider, western revolver, double barrel shotgun with unending legendary effect.
My favorite automatic weapon, next to the op problem solver/splattercannon rifles, is an automatic assault rifle. Works as an LMG, virtually no recoil, and fairly cheap and common ammo for mid to late game. And it's got a fairly good damage output.
It's honestly pretty fun, especially with that fat ass drum mag. Something I don't use till I have 5.56 STACKED.

I like how the Minigun becomes useless until you reach higher levels unless you obtain a good legendary prefix with it. Once you get a Wounding or Explosive Minigun, slap in an Accelerated Barrel and use the right perks and you basically won the game.
I once got an Explosive Minigun at Level 60 and I leveled up all the way to Level 90 without spending any additional perk points. The weapon is *that* good.
That isn’t difficult to begin with imo
Wounding laser or 10mm are some of my favorites.
The railway rifle. I love headshotting someone from below, and watching their head fly halfway across Boston.

My takeaway: The minigun is actually good without explosive... if you use it as a melee weapon.

the paddleball has got one of the best reload animation
I just wanted to point out (for anyone who's curious) the furious version of the ripper is superior to the wounding effect.
While the damage between wounding and furious is comparable at lower levels, at higher levels it's much different, and furious will be the stronger of the two.

I thought knee capper was an effect when you VATS shot them in the legs...like it did more leg damage when you shot them in the legs. My world is changed forever.

Double barrel explosive shotgun is just baddass
Have you tried a Never Ending Double Barrel Shotgun? Probably the most OP weapon in the game. And crazy fun.
Its weird how everyone plays differently. I NEVER use heavy or automatic weapons. Heavy weapons are too “heavy”, I dump perk points into pistols and rifles first, and by late game I’m just set in my ways. The Deliverer, fully upgraded 44 pistol, Overseer’s Guardian, and a fully upgraded Assault Rifle is pretty much all I need. I use shotguns a lot early game before Assault Rifles appear and I can upgrade them, but eventually ammo becomes scarce if you use them a lot.
The Missile Launcher is way underpowered. At least unless you have all perks and upgrades. The Fat Man is so heavy, and you only get one shot at a time with very limited ammo. Sometimes I’ll use a fully upgraded Righteous Authority.
Really the 10mm pistol when upgraded isn’t bad, but the Deliverer, despite no sight, has no recoil, and you can unload a lot of shots very quickly. Its also a killer sneak weapon and very accurate.
Why no bows in FO4???? They are great stealth weapons in most games. They could have made different types of arrows that can be crafted. Also a huge opportunity missed not including uranium depleted ammunitions in FO4. Seems like it would fit the game well, adding radiation damage to any ammo type.
you know when you talked .about the kneecapper effect . i wonder if you where to get a energy weapons that has the fire damage addon. the burning effect will do the the kneecapper effect as well from the mod i dont think you have looked into that.
I'm having alot of fun with the nuka nuke launcher. The Fatman variant ammo is fairly easy to craft once you run through nuka world with plenty of Quantum throughout the park and I love that blue mushroom cloud- I've literally gone from a character who'd snipe off enemies from a distance before closing in and cleaning up in stealth to someone who just pops up in power armour, launches several blue nukes then smashing my way through any remaining resistance with my explosive combat shotgun.

Try getting a double barrel with the never ending effect. It chews through about anything

it's no suprise that the fat man is number 1. And i will admit that the weapon is insanly fun to use. now there are some problems that i have with the fat man first off the ammo for it can be extremly heavy in survival. and also the fact that some enemies can be cinda what i would call explosive sponges this is aspecially the case with the nuka world raiders in fact you can fire one shot at them and they can survive that one explotion and they are able to heal themselives with stimpack faster than youre able to reload youre Fat man. which means it take more shots to kill them than neccecary and this can be really frustrating. but ofcourse it will depent on if you've build youre character around heavy weapons and demo expert. but otherwise the Fat man is so iconic the series and can't really play a fallout game without having to use it once or twice but thats like but thats like saving you can't really go to italy without eating some Pizza there if you know what i mean :D
Jayd1Os just do legendary farming via saves till you get one with the legendary effect that makes it use 5.56 ammo
It's maybe just me but i love the gameplay of the sacrificial blade

I personally love the kneecapper's disciples' blade, especially if you can get it up to a cutlass blade and have the big leagues perk. It's kinda funny to run around stabbing crippled Deathclaws and Gunners alike or to just take their heads clean off in one blow.
In your (I think it's called) Shredder Minigun gameplay, how did you manage to prevent your AP from going down everytime you use it? Everytime I use mine, my AP goes down which is really annoying cause I've always wanted to consistently use my Shredding Minigun and fixing the AP problem is a good way to start

@@Plant104 yeah, I found out the sad truth one day. But at the same time, it kinda makes sense in an IRL sense. But still, that sucks, especially for people like me who don't care about power armor. Tho it still won't stop me from carrying a Shredder Minigun
No. If you want a Fat Man, do any quest with a boss at the end. There's usually one laying around somewhere.
Autimatic weapons with furrios effect like sub machine guns are really good

my current build is based on the furious power fist and strength,agility, luck perks. I went int,agl,balance for my first playthrough 4-5 years ago and so far this is a lot more interesting.
the first time I played fallout the game just naturally pushed me to danse to diamond city to the railroad and silver shroud and it was pretty insane
There's one weapon I've found particularly useful is the kneecapper switchblade and yes its a genuine weapon
I would say my favorite gun/weapon to use in fallout 4 is a 2 shot missile launcher with a targeting computer. I will admit that it is very over powered.
Badlythoughtboy 13 fatman and double barrel are the best weapons for the never ending effect
This is because of the insane fire rate of those rate of those weapons.

Really? I've found a few, I think... Ah, well. There's two handmade rifles in the nuka world DLC with the furious effect.
@@DelinquentChibi heres the thing... Both the splattercanon and the other one that you get from mason are the only ranged weapons with the furious effect, as it can only drop in game as melee/unarmed. As you said, they can be ridiculously powerful, thus beeing op, and not dropping for game balance
@@V.Sensei I imagine that's probably why. Balance. Imagine an automatic assault rifle with the furious effect. And people thought the Splattercannon/Problem Solver rifles were OP...

J. Lee Tillery hardly makes sense since the explosive combat shotgun and explosive minigun exist. In fact I’d be inclined to believe those are superior.
The mega power fist was my go-to weapon in fallout 2
Lorenzo's artifact, aye? That's quite practical if you can get several hundreds of gamma ammo.
Another fun (if very dangerous to the player as well as any enemies) is the MIRV version of the Fat Man, especially if it has the Two-Shot legendary effect, as a Two-Shot MIRV will fire a total of *TWELVE* Mini-Nukes at the target....in exchange for drastically reduced range. So, if you aim at something that's too close with a Two-Shot MIRV....you're probably going to kill yourself even in fully upgraded X-01 Power Armor.
I never knew that the quantum paddle ball is as good as it is.

I thought the shredder modification was just for bashing and cosmetic. I didn't know you can use it like that!
I tend to use semi auto rifles , because you have a high rate of fire, but not blowing all your ammo really quick.

You need to slap the "shredding" mod on it to do so
Henrik Sundqvist I was pretty sure I did. I put on the mod that gives it barbed wire,steel blades and what not on the barrel. But when I hold down m1,it doesn't spin.

I've picked up 3 Fatman. Problems arise when the gun decides it hates you more than the enemy though

I wish you could use the Power Fist in Power Armor. But oh no your hands are now to big, but you can use a 10mm pistol just fine.
Ok how do y'all get so many mini nukes to use it? I can't seem to get more than 5 or 10 and it takes 3 or more to just kill one gunner

Not gonna lie, can't stand the double-barrel shotgun... but a never-ending would be good shit
@@TheOJDrinker I have so much fun with the Wounded Double Shotgun effect, plus with the calibrated receiver, it's pretty strong against Super mutants! Ghouls are mainly one shot, just that mirelurks do sometimes take awhile along with the mirelukr king / queen. However it's very fun since the ammo is plentiful.

The fact the deliver is in 10mm in game in its best form upsets me, it should be in .32 like the Chinese pistol and in .38 with a .22 option for an incredibly quiet silenced pistol. I added several mods to calibres to add ammo types and extended options because I am a real gun geek.
The fact the Walther has a good trigger response on game is hilarious though the real ones suck.
I hate how i cant use the minigun as a meele weapon, but i may just be albsolutely stupid and not using it right

I Have Found Fun in Making a Handmade Rifle Into a AK-47 And Get Put all my Items in a Container with nothing but a AK-47 A Army Helmet And Military Fatigue And Running Around The Commonwealth Shooting shit up Everytime You Collect Combat Armor you should put it on And Whatever is Better

Nay, in fact, the Makarov is inspired by the Walther PPK. If you look at the gun, you can very clearly see that it is in fact a Walther PPK. In fact, the name itself is a callback to when James Bond receives it for the first time. Listen for the line, "Delivery like a brick through a plate glass window."

Literally all of this list could be filled with RL based weapons if Bethesda had the balls .
Personally I like the weapons in-game more than most real-life weapons. I want more lever-action and pump shotguns tho.
